FlashFox - Flash Browser

I was looking for a browser that supports s flash and came across this, as I'm trying to find one that isn't shady or loaded with ads (more often than not, both). So I installed it and, like others have said, it crashed immediately. Puzzled, I decided to look at when it was last updated, 20th December 2016, (that is roughly 5 and a half years ago, at the time of writing). I am fairly confident in naming this abandonware, hopefully the creator will come back and update it at some point.

This was my go-to app for maintaining flash functionality, but then I upgraded my phone and it doesn't even open anymore, even after attempting to reinstall. It's a shame because there are lots of old flash games out there that simply can't be converted and will always require flash to run. Now they will fade into obscurity along with every old technology.

Works as indented, has a built in flash player that is very consistent and works 90% of the time. The only down fall is its structure, unlike 'puffin' web browser. What you see is what you get, with no option to full screen or controls in game. Its hard to play, not to mention the weird lag, it stop responding for a coupe seconds and then continues.

This app isn't so bad, and I think that it it deserves more encouragement. It has a lot of potential, so developers, please make a few adjustments. Such as: making pages larger and smaller, making the interface more user-friendly, because, quite frankly no one here is giving you much credit for this app. I think FlashFox is good, because it is the only flash playing browser that worked on my device. I gave it four stars though, because it isn't complete, and needs a few adjustments. Still good.

I installed it and try to use it. This browser keeps crashing everytime I try to open it. There is no good reason to update to pro version of this browser if it crashing as well. neither version has been updated in a long time that it is very unlikely they will work on newer phones. Developer has stop working on flashfox browsers all together. Browser has been abandoned. It does not work on android 8,9 and 10.

Hmm. After some extensive experimenting, it surely (as other reviews state) crashes every time you try to load/view any flash based game or video. The only thing that runs in flash is the ads. I am disappointed that this is a Mozilla product. If this app was updated correctly, it might work. Unfortunately it does not work, only crashes. Please update the app to where we can use it...

reminds me of vista, all pretty on the concept, but completely worthless if you actually need to do anything with it. CRASHES MORE OFTEN THAN WORKS, but at least the quarter of your screen that plays ads works flawlessly. If you need this for anything else except a rage building app that recruits for the rebellion against Genesis, find something else

Needed to fill out a time sheet on an application that requires flash. The browser starts out looking good. As soon as you navigate to to the page that requires flash it closes. Useless. Waste of time. Don't advertise functionality you don't have.

I was trying to play a online game with the browser but i could not get it to work correctly because i was supposed to grab and drag something but it would not work because the browser was moving to the side like it does when you swipe at the screen to get things to move but would it be possible to add a setting to the app so it cannot move left or right when it is tapped and moved so these games work the way they are made to when in pc mode???????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Downloaded to use flash to check my work schedule. When I clicked the link I needed flash to open, this app kept kicking me out and sending me back to the install screen in the app store. Did that multiple times, did not give me any error information that I am aware of. I downloaded a different app that allowed me to use flash after I watched an ad, and that app worked fine.

Sorry but I'm going to uninstall. I'm not sure why is this app still on appstore, this browser looks to have been alone from its developer team: - Flash never worked.(1 year of use) - It seems there's no any actualization . - While in Twitter it has a lot of bugs, since emojis input to a simple copy-paste of text. Ah, I can't play videos while in twitter too. That's it :-/.

Terrible. Just crashes. I was expecting a browser that loads flash videos and apps in the browser. Instead, it just crashes back yo the home screen without any warning! I'm sorry but this isn't worth my time, uninstalling.

First site I tried repeatedly crashes directly on the first page it loads. Works well on Android Firefox (except for the Flash not loading) and fine on laptop Firefox including flash. You have ONE JOB: Be able to use flash player, as this is what your name suggests, the only reason why ppl actually get "FlashFox". You fail. Each time you start a game FlashFox crashes. Everything else is basic or worse than other browsers. Get opera for a user friendly surface, get Puffin for Flash Player stuff (you have to activate desktop version is settings), which actually works!

Keeps stopping The reason why I downloaded this web app is because it had Flash player included. But when it comes to actually play a video or so, it keeps crashing and turns me back to my home screen. Annoying!!!!!

The app isn't working since last 2 months....I tried uninstalling and reinstalling still doesn't works, whenever I try to use the app, as soon as I click on the app icon, flash fox starts and within a second I'm back on my homescreen. And a dialogue box appears flashfox keeps stopping

The app isn't even opening. It just crashes the second you try to open it and never works. Why are you advertising something you don't have functional. I wouldn't recommend for those who wanna play flash on mobile.

All i wanted this for is playing Super Smash Flash 2 on the official website and it seems i cant do that, the game cant even load and resets when it's at 99. For what i was expecting, useless. Google Chrome is infinitely better. But, you can help me by fixing this issue up and i'll happily download it again to play Smash Flash on my phone and give you 5 stars because of it.

It says it plays flash content. Well it loads the page with flash content, it looks like it's about to play the flash, then crashes. App closes and keeps closing every time i try to reload the page.

I thought this would be the best app to play some games with flash players but crashes, crashes, can't load, crashes, crashes, crashes everytime I use it. DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP (still lacks of a FullScreen Button and Mousepad function.)

very poor, slow, choppy, takes long to load a simple facebook homepage, facebook insists on updating to a different browser as soon as you sign in. too bad, because i liked how it is set up and it seemed to be slow but ok, until i open a facebook game and it crashed. needs more work and could be a good one

as everyone else has said, app crashes the second you use it for anything involving flash. Tried to use it to go on a digital textbook for classwork and crashed multiple times.

The browser does properly play Flash, but crashes randomly multiple times and has banner advertisements. Changed to 2 stars from 3 because it's now crashing while playing an animation within a few seconds (repeatedly)

Literally just downloaded it and instantly keeps crashing one after another after another of trys, there are many reviews over this problem however I gave it a try anyways, basically this program is a hunk of junk until further notice.

It's an okay app, it does what it's supposed to but it closes randomly. It's cool for when you want to play flash games and applications but it's hard to get through something because it just crashes randomly. I thought it would be cool to be able to use flash but it's more of a hassle to use this app. But hey, at least it plays flash!

Horrible! Crashed every time I tried to pull up the website with flash. I thought the reviews where just highlighting the negative but don't waste your time. Crashed over and over! Terrible

Crashes immediately on first launch, I tried launching it three more times and it still wouldn't work. I have a Samsung Galaxy A11 please fix your browser people can't rate it probably if they can't even try it out!
