Flashlight

Does what it says on the tin. No gimmicks, no intrusive adverts, just an on/off button to switch it on or off... Absolutely fine. Ok, an update... The ads are driving me crazy... I'm uninstalling it.... Sorry, guys....

Has pop-over ads that interfere with the operation of the app. When you can't turn the light on or off without closing an ad, or you want to exit and you accidentally get taken to some website instead, that is called a broken app. I understand developers of free software need to make money somehow, but this is not it.

I have installed and use this light for three times. I have found this light very easy and simple. I wish the authority will try to give some more power if possible. However this is good and simple.

The last time I used a flashlight app was back in 2014 . In my head I thought when I would download a flashlight app all I'd have to do is just click the icon, what I don't like about flashlight apps nowadays is that it opens up an app and then you press a button which is really annoying, That's the only problem In my opinion, Also I like to use apps that have a aggressive nice clean futuristic icon

I have installed and uninstalled about 1/2 dozen different flashlights. All claiming that there's is the best. Sadly they all lied. All I was looking for was a simple flashlight that goes on and off and STAYS on period. I am very happy to report that this flashlight fills my needs perfectly. Plus, no annoying ads or strobe lights. And its as basic as you can get. A simple on/off button. With even red and green colors to let you know the difference. In conclusion I love it. Thank You.

Suggestion: Make the power button movable. I use this while running in the evening. With different phones and different gripping preferences it will be good to have the position customizable. Also, bug..... The first time you open it from the widget, the button color is not in sync with the light status. How about making a paid version without ads? Please keep it cheap.

The app recently added full screen ads that activate when you turn the light switch off. This completely blocks the app and light switch button. Meaning, when you are doing something important in the dark, and turn the light off and on again, you get an ad instead of light. Unacceptable and even dangerous. I accept ads are necessary on a free app and the bottom of the screen ads have been acceptable. I've been using this app for a long time and it's been great. I am immediately uninstalling. Bye

Probably one of the best. Handy to use . Least space, most ratings ,no bugs, and free advanced mode. I usually never rate anything but loved this app so much that reccomend to give it a try. It would have been a bit better with colourful lights; as it has the ability to blink like disco lights...Then it would be loved by many more and useful in parties, gatherings etc.

I've had different flash light apps and they did'ntold work out so far I really like the display on screen with brilliant color's and the ease of turning it on and off, no adds and my phone hasn't slowed down or froze up. Simple interface and useful functionality without the annoyingly creepy permissions to access your camera. Multiple interval strobe function is really cool too. Wasn't able to find a brightness setting for the led on my Galaxy s8. Maybe a slider that allows users to fade the dimness would be nice/useful. Well made app regardless.

Everything I ever wanted or could hope for in a flashlight app! It activates your camera's flash for continuous light, it'll light up your screen for a broader flat light source, AND it will light up both sides at the same time! It also has a variable strobe/pulsed blinking funtion for emerging situations! Awesome flashlight app!

Great For Finding Your Way Accross Dodgy Footpaths or Simply just finding your door keys and door lock. It has a few different functions for strobe & timer and you can change the icon into probably thousands of shades and colours, both the inner part and the outer part. It's obvious that somebody has taken time to design this with the aim of making it multifunctional and simple for the user to get it to their perfect specification. I've used it for a long time on other phones and its very handy

Widget as an on/off toggle is only available with the "premium" ad free in app purchase of $0.99. Otherwise, the widget will open the app to turn on the light. Widget doesn't align well with other Android screen icons; although this is an Android problem. App has a light off timer function for some reason. Finally, app interface is slightly cheesy looking. As always... enjoy the ads and useless widget on the free version. 😂

Works fine except everytime (when the screen has been off and flashlight on) while I'm out walking at night.... When I go to turn the screen back on, the flashlight turns itself off and I have to have go back into the app to turn it on again - this is very irritating

This is a very good app.. Does exactly as promised.. Very easy and simple to use... The flashlight icon appeared on my main screen once pressed it basically becomes a full screen on off flashlight toggle button... Making the app very easy to work with... I am very happy with this flashlight app.. No complaints.. There are ads that show up as a banner at the bottom of the on off flashlight control screen within the app.. but nothing else on my phone seems to have any unwanted added ads.. Seems safe to download and use..

Works as a torch for simple jobs, doesn't turn off easily, takes several presses to make the light go out, so desperate to get 5 stars that it actually provides you with a button in app to do just that which I find irritating, if it had provided a fairer button with the option for giving 1 to 5 stars I might have given it 5 but ultimately its just a button that turns my camera light on that thinks its somehow special.

Nice and bright, but any slight touch of the screen turns the flashlight to turn off (or vice versa), switch to the flashing mode, or the white screen which is difficult to remove, so to save battery power, it's been necessary to turn off the cellphone and power up again, hoping that the regular flashlight mode will return. Why does the flashlight screen turn white while a slight hint of the flashlight symbol remains? I just retracted my 3☆ rating to 1☆ because you keep on begging for a rating.

Easy and fast to turn on and off, doesn't hog space, does exactly as it means to with a large central button. If you're looking for a reliable flashlight app that won't gum up things, this is what you need!

I've tried several flashlight apps over the past 5 years or so & I find myself always coming back to this one... I'm pleased with this flashlight app & really don't have issues with it.... It does what I need it for... Am glad it works thru the camera flash spot on the back of my phone & NOT use my screen like I've had other apps do... That was always annoying to me :(

This app is very clear, simple and easy to use. it is one of the essential apps in any mobile phone. you have the choices of either white screen, or flush led light, or both. I really like it.

The app does what it says it will. The only thing I can think of that is a bit of a "problem" is the fact that the no-ad system (unless this has changed) requires you to reactivate it (in settings) every time you use the app, although reactivation does not cost anything.

It is a good app. I would prefer many options instead of just one but it is a bright light so it works alright. Also I like the idea of wallpapers so if the app could make a few more improvements like those I would enjoy a lot more!

For some reason modern torch apps are not as bright as the older apps. Not sure why this is but you'd think an $1,100 device (Note 10+) would be able to illuminate as brightly as one costing half as much from a half decade earlier (Note 3) but for some reason developers have intentionally decreased the brightness of modern-day devices. I know this because I eventually found another app that allows full lumen output of the same device.

So far this has worked perfectly. Immediately turns on and off. Had another app that took several seconds to turn on, and occasionally ran an add right when you needed the light.

I just downloaded it and it works rly well! The only thing that isn't working for me is that when you choose a colour for the light, it doesn't change the colour(or rly work) but either than that, I think it's great.

It's a good app for the old smartphones which have no flashlight facilities. The timer doesn't work in the modern day smart phones which have an inbuilt flashlight feature. This problem in timer is always forcing me to get up after laying down on the bed. I request you to please fix this issue.

I've used this before to find my way around my house at night. I changed phones and lost it but it was very easy to find again because of the icon. Easy and ready to use at the press of the button. Thank you. It would be also nice if it could be dimmable if necessary.
