Update/Reply: Persistent Notification would be ok as now they can be minimised. ....I give it 4 stars, because it says for Motorola and i tried it on a Pixel 3a XL and it doesn't work with the chop twice gesture. But my god, do I miss Moto Actions, i would gladly pay $100.00 for an app that ACCURATELY replicates them. Gravity Gestures seemed to come close when i installed it, but after restarting my phone with Android Pie the chop function is sketchy at best.
Best Moto chop knockoff I've seen. And there are quite a few. This one has no ads, and [when dialed up to Max sensitivity] it mimics the Motorola feature experience pretty well. It really falls down only when your "on" and "off" chops are two close together, that I've noticed
works great, really bright Edited to add: (7/01/21) the shake to turn on action no longer works on my phone. I dont know why, as it's turned on in the app settings, and doesnt work even when the app is running.
This is a first for me a flashlight that works with both front and rear Flash! That's a first! Pay attention because there are several flashlight apps by this developer who has taken the time to develop the app according to your your devices manufacturer so it's compatible! 4 example I have a Motorola that supports shake device feature so when I shake my phone the flashlight turns on and off! This app awoke this feature finaly! LOL!
2 Stars for no ads and free of charge. But on my Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, the chop gesture does not work, independent of the sensitivity. By a click on the button, the led turns on.
After your feedback I decided to give it another try. I have to take back my original comment that it was "Just another flashlight." I still wish I knew more from the start about how to set up the Motorola side of this phone (Moto g(6). But I think I have to let the comments I really have to say for their board. I do like being able to just swipe it to turn it on and that it has a front light. Comments are helpful. Thanks
But - once in a while it'll turn on by itself. That's a lot better than turning itself off when you need it the most. It stays on as long as you need it, unlike the previous app I used.
I've missed the chop feature of my Motorola for almost a year now. Was glad to have it back on a LG phone. Only problem is it doesn't work if the app isn't running in the background. Any way to fix this?
Needs to be running to work. If you locked your phone without the app running, the chop doesn't work.
This app gives just the necessary amount of light without being blinding. For my purposes -- not too bright and not too dark -- this light is perfect
Works! Had to turn the sensitivity way up on my LG G Fit, but even when screen is locked, flashlight comes on.
Meh. Only one intensity for each light. Weak. Especially for being exclusively designed for Motorola phones.... So weak.
Great basic flashlight. Couldn't be more straight forward or simple to use.
This flashlight is really good and very bright for sure. Easy to access from my home screen. Thank you.
i have a moto it has a flashlight however it wasnt very bright after using this app its working fine and i will keep it. thanks for developing this app as it has sabed me from replacing my phone
doesn't work even though it claims it's compatible with my phone....... thanks for responding & that is your updated version.
Hands down Motorola has been and will always be ahead of it's time!! iPhone ppl make fun of Blackberry and call it crackberry. Just realize that Blackberry is Motorola Family and is the mainstream where emails were answered first by cell .Shake your I'mJunkPhone and let it light the way for you. While your finding your flashlight app I'll find my way in the dark just by shaking my phone!! Needless to say awesome job!! You can truly tell the employees , developers/engineers use their own products
Awesome app, it completely fits according to your need, i was always searching app like this, its shaking gesture is awesome
Love this app... Bright and nice to see with when you get home late and no lights are on.
Would be 5 stars but you have to keep app open or minimized for shake to work.
perfectly bright...tap and done no extra nothings which is how a light is supposed b.
Have a Motorola, made no light update: Used the newest version & absolutely no difference.
Its simple, easy to access, and uses very little memory.
SWEET. works pretty well with my Lg aristo, its like i have my moto g 5 plus back! thanks!
it works flawlessly with my LG thinQ7. great app!
Sensors aren't working properly in this app
Very bright and the front facing flashlight handy.
4 stars out of 5 Should have included a strobe option for possibly being in a danger situation.
Closest one yet. I recently switched from a Motorola to the new Pixel 4 XL. The chop gesture flashlight is built in to the core architecture of the Motorola's without an extra app and I used it a lot. I haven't tried all of the one's in the play store, but this is the closest. 4 stars because the app still has to run in the background in order to work. You will presumably have to figure out a permissions level to allow this to run uninhibited.
