*Update - 3 days later and Im getting constant ads. Ok, it said it contained ads. But they are very hard to click away. It's a real pain. But I don't use it often enough to warrant a new search for something else. But I am reducing the stars for the bother!* Phone didn't come with flashlight, and I wanted one for safety, primarily. This app is easy to use, does exactly what it needs to, and doesn't have a lot of junk that is unnecessary! This app should be the standard for all Galaxy flashlights!

FINALLY!!! It's really is little things like this app that do make you smile! I've searched yrs for a flashlight that'd give off light from both sides of my phone! We all know that at least 50% of the time, you need to set the phone down for 1 reason or another, yet every time it gets you, you take a step away & have to dbl bk & turn it over because it never is quite as bright as you thought it would be. Not any more! Cool option that lets you chng entire screen side to 1 of 8 colors! And chng any time desired. Nice that they do give option for use of only one side if/when needed. 💜💕💜

App has ads and no purchase option to remove them. App functions as intended, but I think some of the interface could use some refining and polish. The included widget will stop working after awhile and it appears misaligned with the other icons on the Pixel Launcher home screen. I hope the developer will consider allowing for a paid version of the app in the future and fix the problems I mentioned.

this flashlight app is really nice and works well however, sometimes the light just comes on automatically when I push other functions on my phone. I just uninstalled and reinstalled to see if this solve the problem. otherwise this would be five stars all the way, last bug fix was 2018 maybe time to work out some other bugs.

I've used other Free flashlights and you had to close all these ads before the light went on. And you had to give them access to too many of your personal info. With this flashlight it turns on at the press of the button. adds run across the top. Perfect! Thank You

Perfect for someone like me. As you get older it becomes difficult to see words and other things clearly. Having this application not only as a magnifier but also a flashlight is wonderful! I am working on my house right now and came across an outlet that just didn't look right. Cover came off, turned on Flashlight Galaxy and voila! It was filled with dust bunnies. Which is not good combined with electricity.

If you're going to contain ads then maybe have them disappear when using the front screen light. Or just not have them at all, the app is great but just can't seem to overlook the ads so I'm deleting. Thanks anyway, if the ads weren't there then you would have the best flashlight yet

It's the best flashlight app I've come across except for one item which I don't think is the app's fault. I tell Google to turn on flashlight galaxy and it says it can't find any matching devices. I have to go to the page and turn it on manually. Other than that, it works great.

this is by far the best flashlight I've used. i like to walk in the evening, so it's helpful to have a light for safety. also around the house when you can't find your flashlight, this is very handy. this flashlight is bright, it has a compass, front and back or both lighting fearures. color and flashing/sos options are great! color and speed of sos flash is amazing. fun and easy to use. try this app, you will not be disappointed. great job devs!

Love it❗👍😃 this flashlight works GREAT and being FREE just makes it even better!!!!! It is a bright light I no longer need to have a separate flashlight handy if I need to go outside for the mail or the electric goes out. It's pretty awesome and I recommend it for everyone who wants/needs the extra light just in case you need a flashlight for ANY REASON at all, even enough light if your car breaks down and you need to change a tire or need the flashing S.O.S signal. Light won't turn off after opening the app. The only way to turn it off is to turn off the phone...very inconvenient! Phone is a Samsung Galaxy s5 mini Android 6.0. This has happened the last few times I used the app over the past few months. If not fixed in next update will change for a better flashlight app.

In the middle of the night, I 'm still awake playing games on my phone. If I should drop my stylus or glasses, the flashlight is right there! No searching, no battery to contend with. Lots of other instances of use. It's one app I am glad I installed. It gets used frequently. Thanks!

The Flashlight Calaxy app is the best I've used. it does what its says. No junk just the flash on your smartphone and your main screen. When in comes to the compass it looks small but press it and its a big true operating compass. i live just a little north of east. went outside and its true. I give this man 5"'s. keep the good work and why update when it works.....

Gotta love the "single" programmer... I know what u meant though only you created not team effort. Great app wish I could figure out how to add a widget in the option bar like most phones built in sound WiFi Bluetooth that menu. Not gonna dock a star if it's a operating error lol. Thank you for creating!

Love this flashlight! The light is bright and the graphics of the on-off button are attractive. There are other options for different sorts of lights such as an SOS. I highly recommend this flashlight.

I really thought that when they said this app, light, was actually brighter it was all just sales BS. Boy was I wrong!!! When my wife saw the difference between my phone and her exact same phone she immediately download the app as well. The difference between the two phones side by side was amazing! I rarely purchase an app but this one definitely has me

Great App. Does just what you want it to for a nice versatile flashlight! The compass is a great addition works perfectly every time i use this feature on my Samsung Note8 with 9.0 pie when in the forrest and always nice to know its Wright there in my phone! great jobs programmers a tip of the hat to you.

Thanks so much for this flashlight! I wake up in the middle of the night due to sleep problems so I check up on family members. I point the fashlight away from them, so I can see thim without waking them. Its bright so I don't fall down the stairs. I have poor eyesight. Its very easy to use.

The only flashlight I found that works with screen off/screen lock! My photo flashlight does but I want a widget on my home screen for easy access & that's another good thing about this flashlight app it has a widget that allows it to be on home screen for very fast access!

Love it, I have downloaded this app on every smartphone I have had and when I say it's one of my best apps. There was a time I couldn't find it when I had switch phones. And the one that I did down load was horrible, I was so mad. So many ads and other bs. But i thank God when i was able to find this app again. Thank you who so ever made this app it's the best and one of my favorites.

wow I love this app to be able to have a very bright flashlight and have a working compass was awesome you never seen that anymore. the controls are not hard to figure out there's not much to them.

I like this app. The ads aren't overwhelming and it snaps right on when you open it. After years and new phones I always pick this one. I like the sound effect too😊

I tried other apps prior to this one and none were half as bright. I've used this app for years and I love it! Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a bright light, illuminating a wide area, that doesn't take up much space in your phone!

Absolutely handy when needed. Illumination is excellent and not diffused when focused on an object. Provides very adequent lighting for enhanced viewing in total darkness.

App is great, gave 4 stars because the compass doesn't work. I like the fact you all tried to add another feature, too bad it is bugged. The flashlight is great though.

Too "Flashy". For some things simplicity is key. No being able to turn it off for 3 hours is not simple. Meanwhile, my battery was quickly dieing.

Nice compass feature and multi-colored choices too. Selectable led and/or screen illumination choices available. Well thought out flashlight application. Well done.
