So far, I enjoy working for Postmates and using the Fleet app. They pay better than most of the online delivery services and they have great perks. Plus, they support a lot of humanitarian causes. I think the Fleet app is pretty user friendly but there are some annoyances. It's hard to see on the map where a delivery is, and then you don't know where you're delivering it to until you swipe for pickup. And if you get two deliveries for two places at once, you can't see the 2nd one until later.

At first glance I liked the new update a lot...sleeker design, the fact that you have to look at the items in order to complete a pick up, little things like that. But I hate the new map. I have a MotoE4 with a fairly small screen, and there's so much stuff on the screen now that I can barely see or pinch the map...especially frustrating while driving, on top of the fact that the thing rarely zooms in automatically anymore. Being able to see buildings on old version was huge as well :(

Very easy to use and smooth app. I like how it is very integrated with Google Maps. The rating system isn't strict, so if the restaurant messes up or you choose not to take many orders, they don't count it against you. You also get paid based on wait time and distance, which is nice. Only problem I have seen is that they no longer guarantee $4 minimum pay per delivery and deliveries sometimes don't show after tapping the delivery notification.

It's only four stars because the support options are very limited to explain situations. Sometimes, I can't contact the customer if he/she would like a substitute option. One case, I want to cancel a delivery because the restaurant isn't open yet, but that option was nonexistent for that delivery, though I've seen that option before. App isn't bad besides that. Edit: It needs a better way to notify deliveries because it's too easy to miss deliveries if you're not on your phone the entire time. Edit 2: Backseat pickup should be a contactless option because in LA, parking can be non-existent to residential areas, and I'm not parking in the middle of nowhere to hold up traffic. I understand COVID, but a backseat pickup option can accommodate for parking difficulties. Also, I think photos shouldn't be an instant requirement if I'm leaving it at the customer's door, especially at night where focusing the camera is difficult. Plus, I had a few customers who would pick the "leave at door" option just to be at the side of the road to be ready to pick up the food. I'm fine with leaving it at the door, but the photo shouldn't be a default requirement/option. They should switch the option from default off to on when that customer feels it's absolutely necessary.

For the most part I like driving with Postmates. I have noticed that I will be in the hotspot or log in when I get a Blitz notice and I don't get any deliveries for 30 minutes or more. Also have had issues being routed to the mall food court and since I'm not where the app thinks I should be, I can't contact the customer when there's a problem with the order. Also have been routed to bad addresses. In one instance I kept the order active for up 2 hours so it could be resolved and support never called! And after these things happen, I'm done for the night because I won't receive any more deliveries. I like it for the quick payout and flexibility but these routing issues are so annoying!

Decent pay plus tips, the only thing is recently I've been experiencing a lot of bugs with the app. I won't have picked up a delivery and it says I have and then I am penalized for not delivering when I never picked up an order. only happens during batches. also more frequently since last update. if you are on maps or any other app it won't switch over to fleet properly. Not sure what's going on. love the opportunity and tips just hope they work out the kinks.

The fleet app has severe glitches. If you are not on the main app screen and a "new delivery" alert is received, you can't see it or a certain it. The screen turns white and your phone keeps ringing the bell sound to alert you about a new delivery opportunity. As of the last update, there is no immediate help if you have a drop off issue. The "Complete Drop Off" swipe function did not work and received an error message. I was locked in on the delivery and could not resolve it. Service is bad!!

It's a shame. This app was running very smoothly for me until recently. There are so many bugs right now. You can't mark your order as "complete pick up", the address appears incorrectly half the time in Google maps, and pay outs for completed deliveries have slowed down tremendously. What used to take minutes now takes hours and that's not even an exageration.

A lot of bugs have been fixed over the months I've had the app, but one problem has never changed: when an order comes in, the screen takes a long time to acknowledge you accepting the order. You could tap the "accept offer" button a hundred times, and it will say you took too long to acknowledge the offer. Sometimes it starts up no problem like it should. But 9 times out of 10, I have to tap my screen continuously to make sure i get the order before it can even show me what it is.

The screen goes white when I receive a ping. To make it work I have to force quit the app and open it again, many times. I'm losing 90% of the orders that come in. Now the app is stuck on the 'Complete drop off' screen. Once I slide the blue slider to the right the circle spins for a few seconds and I get the error message: Whoops! Something went wrong. We're working on it try again soon. Very frustrating.

Delivery section has been fixed. Now however another issue emerged. Two issues to be exact but they seem to be connected. when a delivery notification pops up and you click on it it will open up the app to a blank screen. the screen will stay this way until the order runs out of time. This happens nearly every time. Because if it i miss orders. You can swipe over and it works just fine. Other issue is when opening the app, the peak hour window place and stretch to the top. Using a Puxel 4XL.

I have been with Postmate for over 3 years. I've watched the app go through so many changes, and to tell the truth I was dissatisfied. I appreciate all the money I made during the first year. I literally was bringing in some good money right after my unemployment funds ran out. Fast forward to 2019 and everything took a 360 for me. The app started to go through too many changes, and yes I did cancel a lot of orders. You can't get a bonus waiting 30 minutes for one order. I was deactivated.

Doesn't show distance before accepting job. Doesn't give directions to the pickup site, only the delivery site. You have to figure out where to pick up on your own. Worse, it makes you think you've selected the pickup address, overrides google maps destination but sends you to the delivery address first. There's a chance another driver can still steal your work and you will get penalized for it. Now the app constantly crashes and doesn't even open.

This is for sure a great way to make extra money! However during the merger with Uber this app has frozen many times for me. The worst part is it freezes while I am trying to complete a dropoff. I have uninstalled and installed and the first time it took almost 3 days to be able to use the app again. Today while doing a dropoff I swiped to complete the dropoff and it says "somethings wrong please try again". I hope the bugs are fixed quicker than before because this is my only means of work!

This app is absolutely awful. I have it running in the background, recieve notification for an order, click it and it takes me to a blank white screen. The notification sound is running, but I can't accept the order. This has happened 7 times in one night and I missed out on money. Fix your app and stop wasting your delivery people's time. Absolutely frustrated.

There are numerous issues with the app and it not working properly! The directions on the map freezes up often. The swipe feature to complete pickups and deliveries work sporadically. My number one issue with Postmates is that they do not have driver support readily available to answer questions and assist with issues that drivers experience while making deliveries! It is extremely frustrating having to wait on line 25 minutes before someone will answer so that you can get an issue resolved!!!!!

When the app is working everything is great. Recently starting last Friday it has had technical issues when doing a drop off. The message "Whoops! Something went wrong." Appears and I cannot complete the trip. It has been 2 hours since my last delivery and still cannot complete it. The bugs were fixed at the last update and it's still the same issue. What are you doing to insure the app works properly?

It's been glitchy lately. I have to close the app and reopen it several times before it displays correctly. Otherwise it's a white screen with the map partially visible as if I swiped up, but no content is showing. One time it did it in the middle of a delivery and I no longer had access to see the person's address. Also, it takes FOREVER to get an order. Not sure if that is because I'm just starting out or what.
