I have been in for 7 years, and I can tell you that there is a lot of wrong information. Example: LHD & LHA stand for Amphibious Assault Ship, not Landing Helicopter Dock, and Landing Helicopter Assault.
I lost my start guide and this app has everything you need to know before you go to rtc. Great app, very knowledgeable.

Instead of carrying my start guide everywhere I can pull my phone out and review basic book info with ease. I enjoy everything about this app including the music!
Best thing exactly what I needed. But you need the alphabet also
Its a good basic app they should add the phonetic alphabet, military time, and terms commonly used and what they mean like bunk/rack, galley, or AYE-AYE... otherwise a good basic app for quick look up of a few things...
This app is sooo helpful! With me about to go to boot camp it is very useful to just go over some of the basics and have everything down before I leave. Thank you!
The only thing missing to make it perfect is the Navy chain of command

If you are in the dep program, then this is an amazing app! It almost replaces the "start guide" but some additions such as mypay and pfa standards should be included. And is there any way you could make an nko app? I know it would be a huge file, but honestly, I'd be more than willing to pay for something like that. It would have to include every significant part of nko: e-learning, smart transcripts, bupers, the works.

I open the Musc partof the app it freezes then after about a minute I have to force close the app. Everything else works great. Wish It had info on decomm ships too. I was on a Spru-Can and they were the best.
