So I bought the app two days ago and I had it set to refresh every 5 seconds then to 1 second once I noticed blocks have were posted. I set the phone down next to me at my desk at home, unlocked (your phone can't go to sleep or go into lock screen mode), and waited for the blocks to surge a bit due to bad weather we were having. Not only did I missed the surges, I missed every block for the entire day. I had the app to alert me every 1 second and at a price rate of $50 or more...Missed every one.
I don't know what is going on, but this app has gone south on me. It keeps stopping and troubleshooting requires watching a marketing video every time I restart it. I was planning to pay for the premium version very soon, but now I am hesitant.
At first I liked it but recently they have updated it now it opens itself and runs in the background and seems like it might be illegally collecting data at all times. I force close it and it starts right back up. Never gave it this permission.
Have had app since beta, has always gotten the job done perfectly! Unfortunately I think you guys are getting pushed out.. Recently Amazon has sent updates to app.. However the flex app wont install update with flex-alert installed on phone, i had to delete app twice just to beable to DL install so i could recieve blocks/routes again. Now im trying a 3rd time and now flex-alert wont even install on phone.. Ugh.
Just curious . i have it running to refresh every second. As long as its running in the background can i switch apps? I just dont know if it stops running when i switch apps as long as i dont close it completely.
Crashed my phone several hours after downloading, screen was frozen for almost 5 hours. Had to let the battery die. As soon as i powered back up this app was first on the screen which is not the way my phone works. Very scary amd thought my phone was hacked. Deleted right away now phone works fine. Reporting to google play.
After Update from 13 January app stopped alert on wanted blocks and stopped refreshing after any block coming up on screen, but after contacting support looks like they did new update and refreshing again working. But still not understand option schedule calendar... Looks like it not make any changes in app. Checked alert after update with 17/01/2020 and alert sound is back👍👌
terrible app and doesn't do what they claim it does! don't buy this app, it's not worth the cost. if it was free that would be different. Still after a year (today is 2/8/20) it is no better. They block your email when they're done answering. If you let them know about problems you are having with the app like, it doesn't alert you unless another flex alert app user sees the posted blocks also, causing you to miss them altogether. They stop responding to you and ignore you, a paying customer.
the app works fine apart of notification I'm not getting any notification and it doesn't ring when there is blocks available I've turned on all notification buttons on the app and the phone but still nothing it refresh itself but I have to keep my eye on it all the time to accept the offer???
Simple but efficient. Do what it says. To be perfect could could be added a feature to trying to book the blocks for you, not sure if amazon would like the idea but would be great.
Map does not work after Samsung software upgrade. "Launch Map Error". Unintalled and install it again but did not work. Let me know how to fix it. Do you have any plan for update? I sent email to you.
Stops refreshing after a block appears on offers screen. Warehouse filter doesn't seem to be working? good attempt needs some work. Maybe a log for filtered blocks with time stamp.
I installed app Flex Alert, working fine except sound alert. I do not receive sound notifications. In my settings warehouse price alert selected as minimum. Please advise. Thanks
It's a decent app. It seems like most of the reviewers are a little bit dense, and have trouble understanding how the app works, and the fact that Amazon notifications are from, get this, AMAZON 😱
Does not refresh if there are blocks listed. It would be great if it refreshed constantly to see if the rates go up.
ok so bought this and for the UK it's garbage, just a clicker basically which you can get for free, doesn't book blocks or click in the background whilst you are doing other tasks...Don't waste your money - they refuse to refund aswell where as other paid apps will refund straight away
App won't send out an alert unless phone screen is on. Also the auto refresh stops working after about 5 or 10 min.
Perfect for auto refreshing, alerts when a block appears at your min asking wage. Indicates number of blocks released too. Ideal when flex is slow and lots of blocks appearing.
Had a slight issue at first, but support was very quick to help me get it worked out. I can't believe how many idiots post a review without reading the replies from support.
Love the the appit works great. The reason for 4 stars is because it no longer sounds when Amazin flex app is in background. It sounds when I open app.
dont buy this app dosent work. this phone is a android and i can see others had the same issues. just big enouh to accept defective app. if this works as discribed no one will waste time complaining right.
Doesn't automatically refresh offer screen like its supposed to even with that setting turned on and at every 2 seconds.
I've been missing a lot of blocks in the last 2 weeks as of August 4th. HasAmazon caught on to this app and is making it harder for the alerts to appear through it?
You have to literally open the app and look at the offers page to receive a notification. Useless. I've tried to get a refund but I can't make a claim. I would like a refund please.
Had an issue with the app, contacted support and received an immediate response and resolution. Much appreciated.
The app used to be on point however it doesn't seem to notify about blocks in a timely fashion blike it did before... also will this app be updated to handle the new prime features in the flex app?
One has to be on the actual page to hear the alert. I give the APP a 4 star for these reasons. I feel you should not have to be on the page. When the page was refreshing, I received a red notification from Amazon support stating that I had been tapping too long, and to come back later. The alert appeared at the top of the screen. I had the refresh on INSTANT. The blocks that were showing at the time, were removed immediately from the page by Support. Are you working on fixes?
