This app is HORRIBLE for customer service. The app is terrible and doesn't update any of the changes I make. There's 0 way to contact customer service other than email. Trying to cancel is just as difficult. Requiring to send 2 different email. I'm trying to change the billing address on my account but it won't update! Now I'm stuck with a charge that for over a month and no way to pay it!

The system feels old, like it's still the 80s. You get a calendar that shows when payments will come out. Nothing else is built into the app, everything has to be done by email and takes days to resolve. If tempted, resist. There are better services available. I didn't shop around and now I'm trapped until I come up with the money to escape the cycle. I literally have to come up with double the rent to buy my freedom back. Just walk away.

Great app it helps for single mothers or just in general someone who is having a strain on their income but desires to keep a roof over their head. The only downside is the app doesn't communicate with the property to ensure it's collecting the correct amount of rent. You may pay more than what is actually due especially if you have credits applied to your account by the leasing office.

Easy set up nice concept came right on time. COMMUNICATION: I took away 2 stars. There was more added to the amount than initially stated. I got a text and the numbers didn't add up. That confused me. Made me very nervous had to rush to bank before they closed to put extra in the account. No reps to ask why. But it's paid so I guess it's fine this far. Ms. Concerned

1. It's great for managing your finances better, by splitting your rent in half. Just wish the app was more interactive and didn't require sending an email and waiting several days to hear a response for everything. The app should allow us to make a payment date change from within it. 2. Sometimes the app will withdraw the money on the last day of the previous month instead of the 1st day of the current month, this causes overdrafts sometimes.

Flex so far is an absolute mess, it is not user friendly, you can't get any customer assistance. I have incurred 2 months of late fees trying to us this app to help us build credit for our future home. This is so frustrating because there is no one to help. There r no options to self help. All it says is your payment is pending or processing,but then never goes thru.

I recommend this service you get credit for making rent payments credit score increases and you don't have to pay all your rent on your own...IT REALLY WORKS.... The downside is if your phone is full of cookies it may not sync to your bank I was highly upset but you CAN email real people give you options on clearing it off. My phone wasn't allowing the payment but I was like you took my money easily it was almost late. But as with anything you must CYA and contact the way they ask via email..

Worked OK for a while. Then there was a issue with billing because my debit card had gotten locked by mistake so one of the payments didn't go through at first. I fixed the issue and told them to retry the payment. They refused and wanted me to use a different debit card, which I told them I did not have. Well apparently my debit card did work well enough for them to charge me another membership fee even though I canceled my account. Customer service is a joke. I do not recommend this app.

I never leave reviews but...Horrible app and company. They don't even have a customer service number. Communication with the company is all email and you'll be lucky if they email you back.. The amount you owe will say 1 thing in the app then when you email them asking why they didn't take your rent payment out they'll tell you that you owe a different amount causing your rent to be late, causing you to have to cover your entire rent plus fees all at the last minute. Do not recommend.

Flex has been nice splitting the payments into two however this last month it just didn't pay rent. No text, no email and the app states its working and will pay rent. Now we have hundreds of dollars in late fees (yes, one month) because I was told it would pay rent. No phone number to contact just the help line email which you probably won't get a response back the same day from.

The name lives up to its accredibility ! My rent has been paid twice by them..(and will continue to use them) and they are VERY Flexible in terms of rescheduling your 2nd payment. They will definitely work with you if you do run into issues with repayment. Customer service in the form of texting and emailing are awesome. They are saving me $100 in late fees every month and for that, I am grateful for this program !

Flex is great. It's so helpful to pay my rent in two payments. Changing a payment date is possible via email but it would be nice if it could be done within the app. Still a great service though! And I have had great customer service through the email as well.

So far 2 stars only because my payment has been in progress since the 30th and I keep getting text messages regarding a payment that's past due when I barely subscribed for May. Getting in contact with someone is hard as I've already sent 2 emails. Review may change depending on outcome.

Coming up with 1800 dollars at the beginning of every month can be quite the tasking endeavor. Thanks to Flex it turns my rent into two manageable payments that makes paying rent stress free. You can even move the second payment to a different day that works better with you pay schedule. Highly recommend this app 👍👍

This app had great potential, but has no customer service that is reliable. They tell you to email when the app malfunctions, and then you end up with massive late fees and no rent paid on time. Great concept poor execution. I want my money back.

No problems!! Sometimes I lock my card and the 19.99 is rejected. Send email and they take it out a day or two later! Last month, forgot to unlock card twice, was afraid I would no longer be eligible, but I was good!! Nice concept!!

The worst. If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. I never leave reviews but Flex makes my blood boil. Their agreement is to pay your rent on the 1st and you pay them half at the beginning and half in the middle of the month. Except- for three months in a row now they have not done so. They do not tell me how much I owe them until their system is done processing (which can take up to 5 days latest in my personal experience.) This causes my apartment to send me late fees. There's so much more

I reached out to customer service before the end of April to try and work out a billing issue but they completely ignored me, leading to the following: They told me over text that they'd hit my credit if I didn't pay them back at the end of May for the second half of April. I paid them up, and even after all the threats they sent over text, now they can't tell me if they'll cover June. Today I found out that they HIT MY CREDIT ANYWAYS- AFTER ID PAID THEM BEFORE THE DEADLINE. Horrible!

Give customers the option to have their 1st payment pulled on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. Pulling before the 1st is not financially doable for alot of people. You guys did it to me and it caused me to go into the negative. Also, when I went to check last months balance to be sure you guys took care of all of the amount, there was a balance left over. Can't trust your system and from other reviews, seems that is backed up. I've never had rent issues til I tried Flex. Never again and don't recommend.

PLEASE PLEASE be aware of your credit score, if you choose to deactivate your account to skip a month it will decrease your credit score it dropped mine by 34 points. My account was always paid on time and keep in mind they will not deactivate your account if your account is not paid in full so my account was paid in full and on time every time. Now I have a decreased credit score because of flex and they won't reactivate my account, so if you don't need or have to DO NOT skip a month. #NOTFIXED

Update on them not paying my rent and costing me $100 in late fees. They've essentially tried to do the absolute bare minimum to get me to take this review down by offering to wave 1 month of membership charges in the amount of $19.99, a fraction of what I lost. They even tried to blame me for the mistake by saying I entered the wrong amount. BUT I NEVER ENTERED AN AMOUNT, I CLICKED THE PAY IN FULL OPTION ON MY PORTAL. And once again actual customer support is MIA.

There is NO customer service phone #. (Seriously: Google it) you can only email and then they just send a form email with FAQs They make canceling difficult. You send an inquiry and they have to get back to you. I had to suspend my account while I moved within the building I lived in bc there was no person to talk to. When I reactivated and had been told they'd pay, they didn't and I was almost late on my rent. It's a good idea, but with no customer service whatsoever, this is really bad.

This used to be a good idea, then they changed the payment system. Now instead of taking payments on your payday, the first is due before the 5th.i get paid biweekly, sometimes I don't get paid until the 8th, so my rent is not covered, and I'm late. And now that they charge your card instead of your bank account I can't even cover it with an overdraft until I get paid. Honestly it's no longer worth it unless you can cover your rent up front anyway, in which case why bother having this.

Flex Rent on your own schedule is an incompetent rent paying service. The support team is nearly non-existent, as, they may only be reached via email. This is ,after, you have replied to the generic response that Flex Support will send for all inquiries. Flex will not pay your rent on a consistent basis. In my experience, they paid my rent for 8 consecutive months, before, they unexpectedly stopped paying my rent without notice. They were having issues with our apartment's management.

Well that's the only way i have ever paid it but if that's the case why not reach out to me before 5pm. You have all my contact information this could of been handle before late fees were applied ...If only you had customer service to assist your customers. So not happy

They pay my full rent, my payments to them are half/half. They take out the 1st payment same day they pay they rent. The 2nd payment is due about two weeks later. They will allow you to reschedule the 2nd one if you need to. You also pay $20 to use Flex. Customer service has been incredible! There's no phone number BUT the email contact is so fast & they've solved any problems I've had quickly. The app itself is great, easy to use & no issues so far.

3.5 if I can.. App is definitely useful and great concept for paying rent. There tends to be many glitches however that can cause stress for nothing. If they figured out some of these technical errors it would be much better.. I've read that there is no help line, which is only partially true. There is a help email and I have used it faithfully because of all the glitches. They are usually quick to respond, I'd say within 24hrs typically. Never had any real problems as far as payments.

Flex is frustrating..sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Its near impossible to get in contact with anyone. We've incurred more fees because if Flex issues that anything else, we've used. The last few months have been a nightmare trying to pay with FLEX because of login security issues they're having with property portals. Its nice when it works a d a pain when it doesn't

terrible app, The customer support is not helpful WHATSOEVER, they don't all you to change amounts (ya know incase your bill changes) they'll just screw you over. they'll pull as much as they want whenever they want, and incase something goes wrong they don't even have a customer service number to call. The representative who reached out has done nothing but talk about giving them money for the apps mistake, has offered ZERO help in paying the "bill", and refuses to understand when I get paid.

Cust has been terrible lately. It's a good service but customer service has been very slow on responding lately and the ability to reschedule the 2nd payment should allow the customer to do it.
