I love the ability to look up local cinemas and current movies all on one app. Only problem is sometimes some movies don't open at all. It seems to get Stuck. If this problem was sorted it would be perfect

Much improved in recent updates. Would be nice to be able to tag movies or be taken to booking pages. Also, as an option, only movies playing locally could be displayed

Reviews and trailers don't load anymore on my mobile, apart from that annoyance good screening info

Flicks is my favorite website and this app makes me want to cry, I cant even log on to my flicks account on the flicks app! I can't review movies or do anything that makes flicks unique, but I will keep the app just in case it changes, which I hope it will. Update: Nothing has changed, still sucks, I really wanted to review a movie I just watched... Double update: it's been more than a year since the last, still can't review movies or do much on the app

I once offered my services as a writer/reviewer to Flicks and was told they had a full compliment of writers. I won't hold their inability to recognise a great and singular talent against them cause this app is quality. Dunno what all the bad reviews are about. Ps. Steve give me a job.

Very user unfriendly. Do not waste your time with it. Almost impossible to book gold lounge tickets.

Has its flaws but nothing an update can fix, overall, use for time and date of movies is fine and what the app is really used for! Great app!!

Much much better! - 25/04/2018 Why would you put a Web booking system in after rewriting the app natively, love the native parts, booking absolutely sucks and I am unable to do bookings.

You don't have Reading Cinemas in Christchurch to my dismay. Let me know when you get them and I'll try again.

Used to be good but update now won't work unless GPS on. Previous version allowed you to skip GPS please reinstate.

As others have commented it now forces me to turn on high accuracy GPS. Why?? Also once I did that it got stuck trying to load data for a film. Unimpressed. Uninstalled.

Best app for movies

This app used to work well. After the update it is slow; crashes and you can't exit it properly. One to avoid until it is fixed

Too many file not found screens for me (samsung note). Great potential in this app. Its organized efficiently and clearly. Please add more details about theatres like ticket prices. Hope you can clean up the snags.

I have had to reinstall this app on both my android devices because clicking on "cinemas" brings up an error code. Clearing the app cache won't fix this. It's a great app other than that. Allows you to search by cinema or movie across your region to get showing times. This includes all cinema chains (so you don't need different apps for different cinemas). Provides movie summary, trailer, critic and viewer scores/reviews. EDIT: OK, the reinstall on my tablet didn't work. So the app is useless on this device. 1 star off.

Despite all the negative reviews this app has never crashed for me. An annoying lacking feature is that the back button from the Home screen does not close the app (the only app I have on my phone of 60+ apps that doesn't do this) it's quite annoying.

Mostly provides the functionality I need but holy crap the implementation is rubbish. Back button doesn't even work to exit the app. No animations between the screens. Pretty obvious you still think html5 apps are acceptable when they're not.

Never opens successfully. First time load it fails to draw down movie data and app crashes as soon as you press anything. Second time load, maybe MAYBE you will get data.

As soon as I click on the cinemas screen I'm greeted with an error message. Have submitted a screenshot and heard nothing, reinstalled and nothing has helped. For me it's completely unusable, used this app all the time. Will rate again when it's functioning.

Your app is horrid. It stopped working some time ago, errors about files not being found. Uninstalled and reinstalled and the same thing. Used to be really good, does nothing Aunty Google can't tell me anyway.
