It seems that this apps has been abandoned by the developer. I have paid for this apps but now it's useless.
App has been abandoned and no longer works.
Was very useful app miss it a lot
It was very good app. But now is abandoned.
App is now non functional
This is a scam. it just doesn't work. I have two versions both paid and none of them works. Every time I search for a flight it cannot find it. I get a message there are no direct flights found. Even with flight numbers and names. Other free apps are finding these flights with no issues. $4.99 down the drain. I would give it a zero if it were possible. Please don't waste your time and money. Look for something else that works
I don't know why this app gets such bad reviews. It's spot on. With all details. I was scheduled to fly to Istanbul on the day of the coup. I got a notification about an hour and a half before take off, to let me know my flight was cancelled. I was able to reschedule my flight to a different airport without any trouble, thanks to the information from this app. I'd give it ten stars if I could.
I'm an AA flight attendant, and I've tried all the apps. This one offers the best interface and best features of them all. I love how it says the flight time, and time remaining and alerts me anytime something changes in realtime. I use this every time I go to work, plus my wife knows where I am because it syncs with the calendar. Obviously everyone involved put a ton of thought into this product.
This app is not working properly and very unstable when connected to Expedia's Tripdeck: Experiencing a lots of crashes when opening app on Redmi 2 android based MIUI 7.1.1 while logged to Expedia's Tripdeck. It is not crashed when not logged to Expedia's Tripdeck. Tried hard reset and reinstalling app; it didn't solve issue if logged with Expedia's Tripdeck.
Coming from an older version, my hopes and dreams were crushed. This version has terrible ergonomics and workflow. First, all of the flights get sorted into trips. It doesn't seem possible to turn this off. This function really gets in the way, especially if I try to build connecting itineraries with contingencies through multiple cities. I'm often using this app while racing through an airport with my suitcase in one hand and my phone in another. Wouldn't it be great if I could use the app with one hand? Unfortunately, I can't, because the + sign is at the top of the screen and I can't reach the top of the screen with my thumb. So if I reposition my hand so that I can interact with the top of the phone, I soon have to reposition my hand again because the date selecting dialog is at the bottom. Then I have to go back up to the top again to reach the check mark to begin the search. Once the flights come up in a list, where is the gate info? Selecting a flight still doesn't show the gate! It shows a map, and a huge black space where the gate info would quite nicely go. I could go on and on, but google is limiting my space here. I'd rather have my money back.
Ever since Mobiata was bought by Expedia, the quality has gone downhill. The interaction between Expedia and this app is terrible. Forwarding your itinerary to Expedia rarely parses the emails correctly, and then in the app you end up with duplicate departure/arrival times because it just filled in data that it couldn't parse properly. I never had that issue when FlightTrack used Tripit. So disappointing as this is the best, and most beautiful flight companion app I've ever had. But I can't stand the inaccuracies of Expedia, and not being able to modify the poor parsing Expedia does and instead having to enter all the data in manually if it screws up.
After years of expecting features that seemed common sense and standard for an app like this, I have to say that Im fairly disappointed. For example: when opening the app it should display my upcoming flights, but instead I get a long list of my previous flights, and this is in no way changeable as a default (how hard can it be to implement a default view option?). Additionally, flights don't update their schedule in asia, although other flight apps do. This developer dropped the ball when upgrading 4 to 5
I've been using this app since version 1. Still the best tracker available. I don't get all the bad reviews. It does what it's supposed to do. No complaints. I find the customer support very accommodating. Whenever I upgraded my phone, even though the older version is no longer in the play store, they emailed me a link to reinstall. No problem. I purchased this upgrade only because I have truly gotten my money's worth from the old app. I felt it was time to let go and buy the newer version. Still great.
15 April 2017: My previous review was good. That was then and this is now. The app shows no flight information when I have a confirmed ticket in hand. Sorry but downgrading. 2013: why all the grouse about the developer being greedy... i could understand the complaining if v4 users were asked to pay. this is v5 and obviously much different from v4 with different interface and features. having said that i note there is no clear guide to transfer v4 data to v5 and a past date limiting to 24 nov 2013 prevents manual entry of past travels. maybe developer can remove this limit. also seating is not uniformly available, probably a seatguru interface problem, anyway good app
I often get updates on gate changes and delays before the airline app, or sometimes before the board at the airport changes. Works well in airplane mode, giving estimated times based on previous information. Money well spent for the frequent traveler.
In a single trip, there are two redundant options "Add another flight" at the bottom and a "+" at the top. Both does the same thing. Would be easier when selecting the bottom option to save the new flight in the same trip rather to have to ask me everytime if I wanted to do so. Since you have 2 buttons to add flight, make it easier to use one to continuously add flights in the same trip. Super annoying.
Sadly this app is not reliable anymore. Just check one flight that have ben delayed 1h30 and FlightTrack is telling me it is already landed. The airport website and Google both know the update info... Really not worth the 5$.
I paid for this app years ago and it used to be great. Now it just tells me "no non stop flights available". It doesn't matter what flight I enter. Uninstalling and looking for an app that actually works. Very disappointing. Does not even deserve the one star I gave it.
It would be great if the calendar didn't roll so quickly. Just realized a recent trip didn't make it to the app from the email, now I can't add it. Can y'all extend this by 30 days instead of the few days. I shouldn't have to babysit what's been an automatic process.
I used to love this app. Purchased it and couldn't be happier. Mobiata discontinued it and it doesn't work anymore. They should at least have kept the service running! Utter disrespect for customers. I wish I could get my money back, barely got to use it.
After purchasing this app I un-installed the app. I re-installed today and tried to fight a flight from Dubai to Hong Kong. FAILED. Bunch of artistic money grabbers.
