The app worked fine for me, but I had to download it because the website is utter trash. My payment would not go through even though I had more than enough money and all the correct details. I tried with multiple cards from multiple banks in multiple countries. Still no luck. I even followed all the trouble shooting advice on the help page. Non of it worked. I won't be booking with Flexibus in the future. If you are adament you want to book then I suggest getting the app abd booking through that
It usually works very well; it's very practical. Although I almost miss a bus because of the instruction message that said I should wait at another stop, 50 meters from the Flixbus one. I believe it's a company confusion, rather than the app, as I asked different people who told me to stay there, but then the driver was at the other stop and seemed confused about that information.
I will never try this transport way again. the first time the worker has charged me extra mony, and I found that the price cheaper in the app. And today after I booked a trip using the app, I missed it because they have changed the departure place due to construction works. But they didn't mentioned the place in the booking email. And no one from the information centre informed the people who were waiting for the bus!
Multiple times I have gone to book on the app and my partner has looked online at pricing. We have noticed a significant difference in how much they charge on the app versus on a webpage. I would assume it would be cheaper through the app if anything but it was not. This seems pretty shady. I have had great experiences with flixbus years ago so I'm unsure what has happened recently.
The application looks good in general. But predictions about delays and buses on the map works inaccurate. I'm foreign, using it at first and I've missed a bus because the app showed delay for 50 minutes and, in fact it was 15-20 minutes. I guess it was a case, in result even support couldn't say where the bus actually was, when I tried to reach them.
App is useless. No information on tickets. Have to keep entering dates until you find one (Just list available dates like everyone else). Have to keep entering origin and destination until you get a match (Just list them like everyone else). The one that I found were twice the cost of flying.
Watch out for the app to charge you in USD. The ticket price is way higher and they charge you a fee. It never told me it was because they were already overcharging the exchange rate and I thought it was a covid fee until I read today there are not supposed to be fees unless by a third party. I have USAA so I know they didn't charge a fee. Customer service said it was their fee for booking costs to charge your card in USD and they couldn't do anything. I said I can use Blablacar. What a scam!
The app is fine. Easy to find tickets and pay for them. The buses are good but every freaking time that I've used the service they are delayed. Literally all the times I've used it. Don't trust the times they tell
I booked with Flix and then they suddenly cancelled my ride. I have contacted them twice over the past 3 weeks about getting a refund. I haven't received any communication from them. I recommend sticking to Greyhound whenever possible, because Flix is not worth it.
Pretty nice bus it is clean. And I would gave said 5 stars but the light would not turn off above my head at all and there was music coming from somewhere not that was a problem but it was In Spanish and was driving me crazy not being able to speak Spanish and not knowing the songs. But all in all the bus is awesome and the seats are comfortable. I would tell people to ride this bus in the future. But bring ear buds
The app works great. But I would welcome a gateway to Google Pay, so I don't have to save my credit card information at every single merchant's but only at Google. This minimizes exposure and risks.
One of our trips were canceled by the driver because there wasn't enough space for luggage for some reason and were told of a total refund. I have tried to contact the customer service and the chat with no luck yet. Disappointed with the service now. The app doesn't accept any payments recently!!!!
There are no flixbus or flixdeals or vouchers offers coming from several months, I actually like the possibility to keep several vouchers handy, pay for those in advance and use it along the time as per my travel plans, but this good strategy seems to be stopped suddenly. The App is okay otherwise, jo complaints as such..
First Flix Bus changed the bus without any notice, I lost my seat reservation, the bus was low quality with no WiFi. I had no chance to give any feedback or contact flix through the app. My second trip was cancelled and I could not manage this reservation or get any support through the app.
the back function can be annoying at times but overall quite convenient app, contrary to the actual service, which keeps going from bad to worse, in particular whenever Portuguese contractors are involved time to start looking for alternative options
The app works, but the service is terrible. The driver REFUSED to stop at my station, and was extremely rude about it. Drove me all the way to the next city, at 10 pm, while it was raining, after the bus was already more than thirty minutes late! I arrived home an entire hour after the designated arrival time. Never using them again.
So far two bookings, as per bookings its perfect but details and manageability as per user basis is very difficult like to manage your booked tickets, I was late, and when I tried to moved its timings forward I wasn't able to do that and bolt cost me same as ticket so price reached national express rate.
The interface of the app is easy to use, however, there is always confusions and problems within the bus, delays, customers arguing and being rude with each other and with the bus driver. It's cheap but the customer service lacks support. If you wanna travel for cheap keep in mind the issues and situations you will encounter.
The app itself is not bad, pretty straightforward and easy to use. But the service is terrible! I have been travelling with Flixbus for a lot of year and I used to love it! They were always punctual and if there was any minimal delay they communicated it by text message well in advance. But now the service is just awful and absolutely not reliable. The buses simply don't show up and if you have a bus connection/flight you will probably lose a lot of money.
Same as others. Different bus company used. No info on the bus station board so very lucky to catch it running 100m like Bolt! The app does not appear to do very much at all. Certainly no updates etc. Uninstalled.
Worst bus app ever. This is my first time using this app. Booked two tickets from Leeds to London and back. Both of them got cancelled just 2hrs before journey. Just mental. They even did not refund me the booking charge even though the wrong was on their part. So there goes my £2 just for getting my tickets booked. Go for National Express. Dont rely on Flix Bus.
Very bad experince. Never use again. I booked from Milan centrale to Malpensa at 4.15 at night. The bus didnot come to station, no sign at the station, no one gives information. I missed my flight. They dont make refunds, I wrote to chat help they say the sub company planned that ride. This is ridicules, this is your company take responsabilité and help customers.
Explore is broken. I want to search departure city by map, but that doesn't seem to work. That makes the app... difficult for someone planning a midtrip ride when not leaving a major city.
When Flix bus was new to the market they had very attractive fares to attract new riders. Now that they are established they are still a discount line, but not as deep as before. One way they save is by not having dedicated structures as depots but picking up at any curb or parking lot where they have permission. Overall satisfying, however I had one very negative experience I consider a failure of customer service involving luggage which was lost, never recovered.
The wifi is terrible, a waste of time. Bad, bad bad. If you need WiFi to book accommodation or further travel, FORGET IT! Everything else is ok or better. Which is sad, because they overlook/under estimate the easiest distraction (internet) on what could be a stressful journey. Sort it out FlixBus, you manage a decent standard everywhere else.
