Flixi - Movie & TV tracking and recommendations

The search program is really out of date. Has shows on there for Netflix that do not exist anymore. The filter is not good at separating shows I can watch from those I can't (ie netflix and hulu) The program they use to determine what I want to watch is really bad. I did 40 ratings of shows. And it still is suggesting documentary shows and real life shows shows. I hate those types of shows, even clicked on the hated option for documentary in the first part.

The Idea behind the app is great but has A LOT of issues. -way to slow. -often doesn't remember the things you do. -the taste profile option only gives you a few options to choose between and doesn't give you the option to chance these. -when trying to record how many episodes you watched it will get stuck on one of the first series you try this on. -almost half of the buttons don't seem to work properly. Just to name a few. The app has potential but needs to work WAY better, unusable for now

I'm not sure what feature is most useful. I really like the search system on this.. saves me a whole lot of time. I don't watch many tv shows, but a place where I can store movies in my queue to watch later, that's very useful to me. I usually get a bunch of recommendations, then forget the title 5 minutes later.. so that is pretty cool.

Neat features, but the app is probably not secure (and neither is my data). I was browsing for things to watch, and The King on Netflix had its poster replaced with an image of a pepe, which suggests to me that someone has managed to gain access to the app that shouldn't have. If people can change things like this in the app, I don't think any data I give to it is secure, either.

I thought Flixi actually did streaming when I downloaded it and almost immediately deleted, but glad I kept it! It basically lets you know where all my tv shows are available and once I click the icon it just opens the portal to the specific episode I need to watch next. It's kind of a hub to all the services out there. Plus a major advantage is it's not just limited to a single service.

I can't filter my movie watch list as completed, the setting doesnt work. The screen gets stuck on a blur when I remove something fromy movie list. I'm given the exact same movies every time I go to build my taste profile. The UI is jittery. The app has a lot of potential but the above bugs are too much.

App doesn't function and gives no helpful error message. Just says "Refresh the page". Incidentally, there's no way to refresh the page. Honestly, how do you release and app that simply doesn't work? And even if I'm somehow messing up the very simple concept of inputting my preferences, with no error message, I have no possible path forward. Just stupid.

I kinda think that a trakt integration is a must in today's movie apps. I don't want to start a new base every time I try a new app. An import function is a start but not the solution. Also, the video ads are terrible! I just used the app to rate one movie and already got two of them..

Flixi has made me realize how limited Netflix is. Every since I've started using it, I have been watching a bunch of tv shows that netflix didn't have or only had a few of the seasons. Plus my friend also uses this. The compatibility thing is pretty cool! We've also been using it to send each other suggestions. Overall, very nice app!

Great concept so far. The UI is amazing. This app is lacking one feature which is - if i have rated a movie it should NOT continue to show up in my recommedations or to watch lists. I have literally tried and used every Movie Recommendation App there is and still have not found one that will keep me loyal they all have their flaws.

It's bulky, slow, and repetitive. Not only does it take 30 min to set up because of lag. Then it only suggests things in the subjects I said I disliked. This was a waste of time.

The compatibility between users is a sick feature! I've started talking to a girl from my class because of it. I also use this a lot when ever someone brings up something that sounds interesting and then add it to my plan to watch list. Pretty convenient.

Heard about this from a friend who's been using it to store all shows or movies he hears about and plans on watching. Gave it a shot. The other features are pretty cool. Heck, there's even stuff that larger platforms don't have on there.

Nice app. Provides useful content. Problem is with the ui the options in the settings are messed up and not clear to read. App lags very much when you first enter the browse movies section and don't select any filters. Don't get notifications on time.

I watch tons of tv shows. I also use quite a few networks like Netflix, Prime video, disney, etc. It can get a bit tedious to open each app seperately to see what I haven't watched yet. This app is a time saver and has some other pretty neat things to it as well.

I religiously use Netflix, but they only have certain seasons of tv shows that I watch if they aren't "originals". This app lets me know where else I can watch them and how many more seasons are available. It's actually pretty convenient.

This is basically a bunch of different useful apps combined into one.. I'd like to see an import function to help me migrate stuff over, but when I reached out to them, they told me the feature was currently in development. Thanks!

The whole app is an advertisement. It will mostly recommend movies that are currently in the theaters. I rated 50 movies and wanted to get a list of possibly interesting films, instead I got a single drama recommendation. I marked it as "not interested", but it is still recommended to me. I tried browsing, but after I set filter to "released before 2015" flixi told me there are no results matching my filters. Folks, there are no movies made before 2015. They are present in the database, however.

Useless app. Every time I rate a movie, it does not save so I had to rate it manually by clicking the movie info and rate it. Then the last time I was rating all "movies", it went back to 30, the original number.
