Floor Calculator: Plan & install flooring

The floor calculator helps you plan and install new floorings and wall coverings in the rooms of your home, such as the living room, bedroom, bathroom or kitchen. Many different types of flooring are available for the planning: These include the wooden floors (parquet, laminate, cork), but also vinyl / PVC, carpet and tiles (with and without joints). The application measures and calculates the exact number of floor elements required for the rooms you specify. The installation pattern can be adjusted and aligned with a variety of options to achieve a uniform appearance and layout. For each floor element, the size and position are also measured to simplify the installation of the flooring and to avoid unnecessary waste material. The results of the calculations are additionally graphically visualized (2D and 3D) so that you can assess the layout and design of the planned floor quickly and easily.

No ability to draw real rooms with cabinets or outcrops, only modify room corners. The layouts it generates are completely unusable for vinyl plank flooring. Joints in line even when staggered layout is chosen. The notes section is has an option for offset between rows. You can't adjust anything, but it shows me that none of the layouts this app can generate can space the joints to manufacturer spec. This app is complete garbage, don't even waste your time with the free version. Buy graph paper.
Free version is interesting, but not very helpfull for the real world....one would NEED to get the pro version to derive any usefulness from the app. Besides the hamstrung feature set, the free version started with a full plank and ended up with a sliver at the far wall edge....an absolute no-no in the real world.
Utter trash. Dinner bother wasting your time or space installing the "free" version. Absolutely no functionality, literally two seconds in and you're being pestered to upgrade.
Im sure the paid for app is better. Don't bother with this free version.***edit to respond to editor*** thank you for replying to my review, I have tried the paid version and I was very pleased. App was easy to navigate and interface was very user friendly. Changed my 2☆rating for this free version to a 4☆ for the paid version.
A great application for creating flooring plans and wall coverings. I like the simple and convenient interface. Thanks to the developers for the large number of materials and different settings. I think the application will be very useful for me.
Great App, it will help you say time and money. Completed my floor using the app. Just wish I could print the layout with the mearsurement either on the piece or on a sheet instead of have to keep touching each tile. This would make it a 10 star app.
this product is useless. it says it plots and plans each tile size. this is a lie. I have asked for refund for pro version that does nothing more than allow for tile and grout lines.
Update: i apologize, i was under a lot of stress and nothing was going in line with anything going right that day. app does not allow tiles as floor material if you dont pay?? Which you dont find out until you are three pages in, and having converted to centimeters, which the app doesnt do inches it seems, either. Even after watching the tutorial i was unable to navigate the app, which is prolly my fault, switching to mycalculator in order to find out i cant use the app without payment..
Very basic and lacking options. can only modify one corner and you can only pick from two tile layouts! I'm disappointed I paid for the pro version.
Awesome app. I almost didn't download it because of the rating but it is completely unfair. I am a carpenter who doesn't do flooring very often but this just saved me 100's of euros seriously. Big thank you. Keep adding features, we need more apps like this in this industry!
One star reviews. Why? Because some people expect to get everything in life for free. The free version gives you the opportunity to see what this app can really do if you upgrade to pro. I did what most people do, download the free version, get upset that the features I needed were only in the pro version, and seek out an alternative app. So many hours wasted looking for an alternative app, doing the floor using pencil and paper and drawing it out. Just pay the six bucks like I did. So worth it.

Useless... everything useful requires you to buy pro version. There's no reason for them to even offer a "free" version when you can't do anything with it.
I recommend this app. It's very helpful for plan floorings and wall coverings, it also has a many materials and customization options it's easy to use and has a creative design.
limited floor layout even in pro. no support for 22.5 angles on wall. add this 5 star easy. especially for 6 bucks. other than that seems to work great. Nice to see how many tiles i need to gather for the project. Also could give measurements for ammount of grout i would use based on joint width would be nice. i've seen free grout calculators online.
A good floor calculator app. It contains plan floorings and wall covering customization as well. I can put any plan for many materials at the same time. Amazing plan & installment app.
I like the floor plan calculator as it gives very accurate meter reading in the graphic. The function is easy to use and understand
I have enjoyed using this app it's good in assistance of planning all floorings easier and It even has customizing options and many materials to use it's definitely a very useful app.

Interesting app for very specific, niche market. Regular folk don't change floors often, but this app might be useful for carpenters or interior design people.
I cant even tell from the free version if the app is able to make diagonal walls with something other than 90° corners. im not willing to spend $5 to figure out something that should be in the documentation.
Just make it a paid app. All of the useful features advertised are part of the paid "pro" version. They should just make this a paid only app because The free versionis no better than a calculator
I was looking for an app to help with a diy floor project. This would be great but I use inches instead of centimeters so I'm still looking for an app that will work.
Anyone can take width of a room and divide it by width of planks and tell you APPROXIMATELY how many rows you will need. That is all this app does! Waist of time and money!!! I thought it would tell me lengths, widths, and starting gaps... nope! Just APPROXIMATELY how many rows and boards/tiles MAY be needes
This app is a waste of time and money!!! Wish i could get a refund. I laid out my pattern better with pencil and paper. What a scam
worthless, everything you go to do says cant do it . buy the pro version. I have a simple room for tile, says can't do it buy pro @ $6. no way am I going to do that and find its don't work either.
Lots of piecemeal inputs just to find out it calculates area of tiles needed. It does not let you customize the pattern of your tiles or even to customize the size of the room without an upgrade to pro.

Tried free version to plan laminate using the staggered pattern and it worked great. But l wanted to run the flooring across the room so paid for pro version. However by simply changing the direction by 90 degrees the app draws a completely different pattern. Ps the room is almost square 3.4 by 2.9 so not an unusual layout. Tried starting in different corners and swapping room dimensions around but to no avail. Plus no save feature.
