I've had this game for a very long time, and I think I must've paid to get rid of ads, I don't remember...anyway, I've finished every level, gotten all the achievements and do still play the daily and weekly packs. I'd like it if some new packs and achievements came out though. Daily and weekly go too fast. Great game though.
Ads are making the game more and more unplayable over the years. Instead of a quick popup that you can close (or wait 5s and then close), most of the ads now have 3 parts to them, and i have to wait 5s before closing each one. Also, the back arrow disappears, so if I want to close the app while an ad is open, I cannot do so without touching the ad and opening the play store. The game itself is easy but fairly satisfying in a mindless way. But the ads ruin the experience.
I really like this game. But recently too many of the ads lock up the app; tbey will not let me close the ad and return to the game. I have to completely close the app and then restart it to play again.
A cool way to mix Flow Free up, which ends up in adding more levels. I don't know how they do it, but there are THOUSANDS of levels, and they are free, except for like 2 packs, which is awesome.
I really liked this games until this last update. It wiped out all the progress I had made. While I don't mind restarting it's not good to delete a user's progress.
Decent game, although a bit too easy once you get the hang of it. Got through a whole pack of "Extreme" levels while waiting at the doctor... Chill way to kill time though. Also, the hint button is super easy to tap with my palm. I don't use hints, so don't care much about having lost mine, but the buy more popup is SUPER annoying. -1* for having to see this popup after already paying to remove ads.
Adds have become a joke. Not only are they constant, they make it hard to close them down by hiding the close button.
Excellent game, plenty of levels - I've completed them though, so I hope they add more before I have to delete the app
I love Hexes just as much as the others in the Flow Free series. Smooth play, easy navigation, minimal ads(and most give you a choice), and totally addictive! The only reason I gave 4 stars, and this goes for all of them, WAY too many stupidly easy puzzles and not enough at least difficult puzzles. I usually skip straight to hard. But that's the only knock I have. Great puzzle fun!
Does a great job of being what it is; namely, an exercise for making one look at alternative paths and relationships, and for making one feel good about making novel choices for connections while working within a standard framework. This is the kind of thing I turn to when feeling overwhelmed by much of life. It's challenges without frustrating, follows simple rules, and rewards with a sense of accomplishment.
This game is pretty cool. I remembered the time when I was playing this game in its early days, and has no ads. Now, the ads somehow ruins the experience for me especially because my device has a small screen, then a banner ad will cut a large portion of the screen, making it harder to play big sized maps. It also ruins the games performance and speed when attempting to load an ad (whatever kind of ad). Fullscreen ads also appear like every 3 levels. Aside from that, this is still a nice game.
An incredible game, definitely worth the download, and I'd say that the ad removal purchase is worth it to support the devs, especially with the extra levels you unlock. The puzzles are difficult enough to make you think, but easy enough that you don't throw your device across the room in frustration, and the rules are incredibly easy to understand. Sadly, smaller screens make the game a little fiddly when you've got fat thumbs, but that's no reason to decrease the rating. 11/10 Would recommend.
At first I was wondering why everyone was complaining about intrusive ads because they were very infrequent when I first started, and were usually ones that you could skip and not accidentally click on when doing so, but the further you go the ads really do get frustratingly more frequent, to the point where I was like "ok I HAVE to pay to get these removed or it's not gonna be playable." Luckily it's cheap to do so, but still bummed that it didn't really feel like a choice after a certain point
I love this game. I used to play it all the time, but changed phones and forgot about it. I recently rediscovered it and I couldn't be happier. I don't remember it having adverts before, but the cost to unlock the game was only five pounds. So now it's an advert free zone with the same old simple gameplay. I'm looking forward to tapping into all the new levels I got for unlocking the game.
All the varients of these Flow games are addictive. The downside is the method of advertising. I'd much rather an always-visible ad banner on the screen over the rubbish they pull off with the "Get a free hint" button sneaking up so that you accidentally tap it, which plays a full-screen unskippable ad (unless you restart the app). Get rid of the horrific ad methods and this would be a five star rating instantly.
Used to be really good, but too many ads for other games now, so UNINSTALLED
Great game design, fun and very enjoyable. However, it has recently begun to display very long, full-page ads after every level. The system "back" arrow is not functional during the ad, and they require around 10-15 seconds of viewing before the "X" appears. I used to love this game, but all the fun has been taken out of winning.
Nice idea, app functions smoothly, personally it doesn't represent much of a challenge to me, I tried the various mazes at the highest level and could complete them quickly. More variation between puzzles with different characteristics might hold my interest longer. No problem with ads but I use the full version of blokada which is highly effective at preventing popups.
The third addition in the flow series, and it's still a blast to play. To put it simply, it's simple in its art style, has great controls, the hexagonal concept is fun, and the game doesn't beg for money. The minimal problem are the ads, which are intrusive sometimes, but don't affect the game that much. Hints can be collected, but you must watch an ad before collecting them. Maybe a daily hint reward could be cool.
Not loading, I play every day and have been for a long time, but not been able to play for 2 weeks
Great simple game. Came back to this game to find it got a UI upgrade I didn't even know I needed (devs might want to update the app preview images to reflect that). Well worth the A$5 (or equivalent) to upgrade and get all the premium packs. I'd recommend people just stick to getting hints from ads though if they need them Only change I'd personally request is the ability to change how much resistance there is to having one of your lines drawn over (hope that makes sense 😅)
Good game. The main problem are ads that pop up after every puzzle you solve, but they usually don't interfere with actual gameplay. It offers many puzzles to solve, so it'll keep you busy. It just depends on how much you're willing to deal with ads. You can often skip them after watching for a few seconds too. Of course you can purchase no ads as well. Can be addictive, especially with daily challenges. Overall I recommend.
I started playing this and got all the way to almost last level, then wouldn't load the game. I sent a email to them. They never reply back. So I decided to uninstall it and reinstall it. It was fine didnt loss my progress level. So I played for awhile and signed out and tried to play and it was frozen up again. So I uninstalled it then reinstalled it. Well this time it took me all the way back to the beginning to the first level first puzzle. Very frustrated
This is a very fun game for nerds like me. Ad frequency was very reasonable too.
If you've played flow free you'll like this game too. It's similar and has the same concept
Decent game play, but there's one of those ads for a generic game in between Every. Single. Level. Also note that it's the kind that if you touch the screen at all (including to close the ad), it will open a link to the play store to download said awful game (that is also no doubt nothing more than adware like this. It does give you the option to pay to remove ads, which is good compared to some that don't allow it at all, but the ads are excessive.
