Please add a 'dark mode' theme and, more importantly, an overview dashboard showing all devices so you can glance at the screen to see which plants need attention. Having to go in to each and every device/plants to check them defeats the purpose of having an app, it's quicker to just physically check each plant... This app would be SO much more useful with a dashboard view

Over the past few weeks, the app has failed to synchronize data or pull up my individual plants when selected. I have tried contacting the company by several methods (email, FB, in the app) and have not received any response. It appears the app is being abandoned. Which is too bad, because when it worked, I loved it. Edit: latest update 4/13 seems to have fixed things!

Love the app, it is simple and fast. It is a good way to see the plants health. The app seems to lag behind the iPhone version, you can short your sensor per room, which makes it easier to find the right sensor in the list. Also the batteries may not have enough power and therefore not sync anymore, but no warning will be given. It does get updates so now and then, it may be remedied in the future.

The app works with two sensors in use for 1 and 2 months, but most of the time the app won't sync history data for one or both sensors. It's not always the same sensor that fails. Readings seem okay. Light intensity is a bit useless under the leaves and I have my doubts about the fertility meter. I also use the sensors with Home Assistant that works great without the need of the original app. Might be helpful to some owners? Also try selecting another region. I'm in the EU.

It is really pretty, but does not contain most of the features you would expect, like alerts for low water level, the ability to add plants to the database, the ability not to associate with a particular plant when you have many in the pot, and sort the order of display. It also has a few bugs, not all the plants in the dB can be downloaded, they report network errors. NEEDS WORK.

App works great, shows all the stats and has nice graph views for hourly/day/week/month etc, since the sensor itself stores hourly logs that the app downloads. Takes a few seconds to connect, but always succeeds if the sensor is in range, and if you have multiple sensors, the "sync all" button will connect to them and download the lot. Does require login, would rather it did not, but that's true of most apps these days. The layout might be a bit small in places if you have bad eyesight as well.

I've got three devices, all the sensors work well and help a lot. For such a price it's just perfect though the app could have much more features. Maybe the authors can't add them right now as it would need time and investments but the easiest way to help your advanced users would be by letting them extract the data about their plants as a table in a plain text file with dividers. As advertised, easy to use concise and practical. Would give it five stars if the database was adaptable to local produce, like scan a label to add to database, but that would require some global standard, not likely.. In short I like and use this product, all the time. I have 3 units, no problems. I start the app and turn Bluetooth on from the app, then choose the plant, it updates, close the app and Bluetooth. Don't leave it on it's not intended for continuous use, the batteries.

When I am logged in great app together with the sensors helps me keeping my plants healthy. The 2 stars is because every time I want to open the app I have to reset my password to be able to logon again. It simply does not remind my password. I reset it to the same one again and again and again. Irritating.

I stopped using this because it's partially in Chinese and worse it kept forgetting my device. Suddenly VegTrug which has been working perfectly has been withdrawn and we have to use this. I wouldn't mind if it was stable and fully in English. Ok update:after a clean reinstall it's now properly in English and my data is there. This should have been automatic. Ok let's see if it's stable now. Update: nope. Has reverted to partly Chinese again and showing no devices. Aaargh!

The App works flawlessly and the connection with the sensors is carried out quickly. It is also possible to access the data from the sensors through the Mi Home App. In this case the advantage is that one can use a BLE gateway to transfer the data to the internet. I would appreciate the possibility to set an alarm or to execute an action (see IFTTT) if a specific value goes below a defined threshold.

App should not require sign in every single time you open it. Too bad the app does not have a way of taking a picture to identify the unknown plants. Some nice features in the app. I wish the app would replace the stock photo of the plant, with my personal photo from my plant diary. even though my settings are English it still shows some prompts in Chinese. No way to edit diary or change date within diary. Should be able to switch plant position in list

Keep getting error message from app when I try to establish a new account that it can't send the verification email. Will update if it ever works. UPDATE: Today the app finally *thinks* it sent me a verification email, and gave me 60 seconds to enter the emailed code into the app. An hour later I still haven't received the email. App uninstalled; Device returned to vendor.

I was very happy with this device and app- had been using it for several months. But with the latest update, I can now no longer login with Google unless I give the app access to my google drive- not going to happen! So now I've had to make a second account, and lost all my plants' data in the process. I don't understand how the app can justify needing that permission, nor why it doesn't seem to be a thing if I don't login with Google. Please change this!

it's not bad, but now after 3 weeks or so I have issues to download data from the device. also it would be good to see some numbers not just bars in monthly or weekly reports. When I click on it, it takes me to certain date but doesn't show me date cumulative date for that day, which is a shame.

App has always worked great for me, I find all the negative reviews strange. The app works just as you'd expect. My only real complaint is the number of plants and how they Are classified by their botanical name. I'd prefer to just see the lamen name of the plants. Seems more geared for flowers versus vegetables. Which is how I use it.

usually my experience is due to the precision of soil moisture, depending on the silver, so far it has worked for me. but, I would like to recommend, a better one for temperature. But it is known that every plant handles different temperatures according to the season. I appreciate all the work accomplished.

Have been unable to use the app as when I try to register for a plant care account, I get an error saying 'request failed, please check network'. We have tried on my partners phone also with the same result. A friend of mine is having the same issue so most likely a bug in the app. Would love to be able to use the app and be able to give a fair rating.

Google or Facebook login does not work OLD REVIEW I have specifically tested the light sensor and it works 100%. It's ideal that you can select the plant from the list so you have specific information. BUGS The login with Google didn't work. It looses the login details The UI is also really simple and intuitive. It seems that this app has it all. If it works good, I may buy more and more of these sensors. FEATURE REQUEST Notification in case of too low values (water, fertility, etc...)

Running latest (5.6.3) but still can't connect to any of the devices. I have about 10 devices that used to work fine in the old app. Suddenly they stopped working there, and this app does not find them either. Even tried a brand new Grow Care Home, straight out of the box. But the app does not find it.

Even though I selected German as language, the app GUI remains English, some of the labels are even being displayed in Chinese. Synching historz data with sensors constantly fails at 95%, even after rebooting the device. This app is not useable for me, and I may uninstall the app and return the sensors.

Requires an account with an e-mailed confirmation code. I have tried multiple times with long wait in between with hopes that something will magically start working but their system is broken. I have e mailed them but have to received a response. This craplication is useless and now i need to find another way to access the devices I purchased from these people, over all a terrible end user experience.

It was good when it worked. Currently, cannot sync historical data, keep getting a "data acquisition error" message. I tried reinstalling the app and now cannot sign back in. I get the same "data acquisition error" message and the region list is empty so I cannot complete signing in to access my account or the sensor.

An alarm is needed. All very cool, but only if you remember to look at it. If I can remember to use the app, I can remember to water the plant! The app needs an alert when plant falls out of its parameters.

The app works fine, very simple to configure but missing some essential features. Will be nice if the app send notification instead to check manually. Will be perfect if also can send email (i know the sensor are connected by bluetooth, but, for example I put it on home tablet.

I'll wait for notifications feature when it falls out of range e.g. watering is needed. Could switch review to 5 stars then. Not buying additional units due to this issue.

Can't receive data anymore. No data is saved since monthes. Device can only show the figure as they are in the moment. After successful sync, no data recorded and saved. Also after updating to the current version absolutely nothing has changed. Device receives the data but data is not saved.

I have flower care device on the lawn (I know that outdoor usage is not recommended and if it stops working it is my problem). Data are collected and presented with grafana so I have detailed charts of moisture and temperature. I noticed that the higher temperature is , the higher goes the moisture value. This is weird since moisture is in percent and should go down when temperature grows (absolute value of moisture is the same while max moisture in soil is higher for higher temperature)
