The identification process is not computer-based, it requires human involvement. Therefore each identification is paid using Google's in-app purchase. One plant identification costs 1 USD / 0.7 EUR. The installation includes one identification for free as a trial.
Our team will respond as soon as possible, but the identification usually takes minutes or hours. In average, we manage to solve more than 95% plant requests.

Not one of the other three flower identifying apps could identify the species blooming in my house plant. Using this FlowerChecker app, I was able to contact a botanist directly and within the hour I had my answer, Lace Flower! Do not waste your time with the other apps, the FlowerChecker made it easy to ask the experts!
First picture i sent of a plant i`ve had for years and can't remember the name of it and the aquarium store i bought it from doesnt sell them anymore. Well the botanists who identify plants on this app couldn't identify it.... I even added in extra info about it to help. Don't have much faith if they can't identify the one plant I needed identified.
Novelty at best. Great if you are interested in this technology but an utter waste of time, overpriced gadget that failed to light the torch paper.
Did not even get as far as using it. Read Terms and Conditions and immediately deleted app. Seems they only want to sell as yet unidentified stuff and keep your data for their records. I just want an app to tell me what interesting plants I see on a walk, not sign my life away. Seemed too dangerous. Will keep looking.
Identified a plant within a few minutes. Might not always be that fast but when I looked up the plant on Google it was exactly the same image! Great app
Great idea done really well EDIT: one year later I wish I'd rated it lower just so I could now rate it higher. Great app, gives you basically a very specific superpower.
Had some house plants that were gifts and I had no idea what they were. This app helped me figure them out! Plan to use it when I'm out and about too to figure out what cool things I'm seeing!
Complete nonsense... It costs $1 to find out one plant name. Just get a book for $10 and have the answer everytime. The library has books on plants for free too. No need to waste money on this worthless app.
First time user and uploaded a photo and received a response within 5 minutes. Great idea, love the fact that it's a real expert on the other end and that you get a percentage of accuracy.
I was pleasantly surprised, that the botanist specifically pinpointed that the plat I have sent is actually toxic 😲 I would never know, because it was everywhere in thecity center. Thanks for the personification!
Fantastic service - we fell in love with a vine flower we kept seeing on our holiday in Bali but didn't know what it was. Sent a pic of it to the botanists at Flower checker who got back to us almost immediately with the correct name.
My mum constantly finds flowers and plants she likes but we have no clue what they are. It's nice that this app has professional botanists reviewing your images. Thank you!
We were stumped and now we're not, but it does cost $1 and Google credits to get the answer and it tells you the certainty percentage ahead of time so that's nice I think it's worth it.
First free then pay. I have tried to find a unusual rose variety in my garden, provided a few pics, but just gave me the generic "rose". When chat they told me there are a few species and they cannot find wich one is. Dissapointing.

So far all the pictures i have taken have all been identified. I dont know that i like that u have to use credits to see your results.
Great app. I do wish that they could identify the plants faster. I also need to know how to get credits to reveal what the plants actually are

I like that you don't have to pay monthly but just per request. If they are telling the truth I like that botanists look at the pictures and tell you what it is.
Incomplete identification. I was looking for the name of particular variety, but only gave the general species name
Excellent i have been looking for 5 months with possibilities but not 100% they came bsck within the 24hrs with what is actually was.
So easy..Take a photo, send it in so experts check it out and identify it for you..
Simple, fast, and solid information on plants! If you want to know what it is, this is the app to get.
Very helpful app. I received a response in a few hours with the correct answer. The respondent also includes a percent he or she believes the answer is correct, in my case 90% certain of the answer. Really good from just a picture.
