Note: On Android KitKat (Android 4.4), Google has removed the ability for apps to write to external SD card. This is not a bug in Flud. You can only download in folder Android/data/com.delphicoder.flud/ on your external SD on KitKat. Please note that that folder is deleted when Flud is uninstalled.

Thank you VERY much for the addition of TWO GREAT new features: 1) The option to set Sequential Download as a default in Settings. It eliminates an otherwise VERY repetitive step. 2) The function that attempts to retrieve metadata PRIOR to adding the new download via Magnet. VERY NICE. These two new features, in and of themselves, have great impact.
Update: This ad free version seems like a watered down version of the app you originally started with. Please bring back the tabs on the top bar that indicate when your download is complete or queued. 22/10/2019 Update: Thank you for fixing the app so quickly. I just don't understand how this app can be rated the way it is. I have 300 Mbps home network with every single device on it, including the tablet where Flud is installed on, showing that speed when tested. Yet, Flud never ever downloads faster than 1 Mbps. All the settings are default. What am I doing wrong? Getting rid of it and now need to find an alternative.
Beautiful design, easy to use, and includes all the expected advanced customisation options. One feature request: it would be great if you could add the ability to open the file explorer directly to the folder holding the downloaded file. However this is a nice-to-have, rather than a need-to-have. Would still rate 5/5.
Hello, i have an issue. Every other things are well balanced. But the speed of download is very less. When compared to other apps this has very slow download speed, with the same settings for the same file with ample number of peers. Kindly fix the issue. And if this is the case only with me, Then guide me to use this app with better settings or should i reinstall it. and i also do not find any contact details to connect to the customer care.
I can't locate files since I can't go backwards from the internal storage to see the two storage devices from /mnt lol. This is me using the plus button... There's not even a SD-Card button to properly and instantly navigate to SD-Card... This app really needs an update but if this developer is on hiatus or doesn't simply update their apps anymore, I'd probably want a refund since I bought this hoping for more features to be adopted.
It's a pretty good app. Can easily add magnets and decide where the files should be located in, on the storage of your phone. UI is really nice and smooth & responsive compared to many other alternatives out there which have an older and dated look. The process does drain battery a little bit but that's not really the fault of the app. It's probably just because the storage is being written to. The ad-free version is definitely worth the purchase. Saves hassle long term in not dealing with ads.
