Keeps crashing every night, I rescan stuff the following night, and the next morning when I turn the screen on, it is starting the app back up and everything needs to be rechecked again. I've tried everything, nothing else open in the background, background use on for the app, etc. I've been screwing with this problem for a week now, and I'm over the app. Waste of storage medium lifespan, and waste of my time.
Good, logical and simple to use. But I downgrade it cos when I select WiFi only option for downloads, it says "WiFi is metered downloads paused" and as far as I know, there's no reason for it to do that! But unticking option allows it to continue, but I don't want to download on my 4G.
I love this app. It does what it's supposed to do, and it does it good! Not giving it five stars because of a small but important bug I found. Scheduling cannot be disabled once started. When the 'Enabled' option in a schedule is checked out, the OK button vanishes, so the schedule remains unchanged. The only workaround I've found for this is to check 'Run only once'. That way, it disables itself after running once, but then I have to enable it again whenever I wish to use this feature.
The best for Android - (user for years) I've tried many others, none come close.. Every single other one I've tried are all the SAME and with intrusive ads and popups. Sure, this has ads, but they're down at the bottom and there's an option to opt out of data collection (!) upon first startup. The ads are subtle and are only at the bottom of the screen. Also: you should seriously consider using a VPN!! Torrenting can lead to legal issues, so use one! Preferably one with a kill switch
Not working AT ALL since a few months ago. It won't start the downloads for anything which are healthy and being seeded in the range from 10 to hundreds of seeds. Other apps work, though. So, I've been using them as an alt. for a while, but it's disappointing. In terms of aesthetics, settings, etc, Flud is easily the best & my favorite since the day I got it. Even the ads, by which I mean they aren't as annoying as others. I even had it set to default for months since it stopped working, but...
Works perfectly, I just have minor wishes: 1) I'd love to have an option to show the "tablet view" when I hold my phone in landscape. It's "only" FullHD, which is more than some tablets I've used. 2) I like the "Pieces-view" with boxes over the one with lines, but the boxes are too large to fit the screen. The boxes should be sized accordingly, so that if possible, the pieces-view show all thing in one screen. Make it easy to switch between blocks/lines!
Exceptional video downloader. Not only does it always work (which isn't always the case with video downloaders), it always works very well. The developers created an easy to understand UI, that enables quick and clean downloading from a few simple steps, and it's free. Truly, what more could you want? When video downloading, you don't want a tiny stream, you want a Flud.
Can't complain. Easy to use. Simple to understand. Basic so nothing complicated. Ads don't get in your way and ruin your experience, small and at bottom of screen. Something that is rare nowadays. Small memory. Only issue is that it has sometimes shut down by itself but all you gotta do is open it back up and hit continue with download.
It was a great app but lately they've added commercials + trying to trap you into clicking on them. The X icon isn't responding, the commercial is in a full screen that doesn't show you the bottom of the screen with Android's "back" and "home" options, so you are trapped. No matter where you click it goes to the commercial link. REMOVING THE APP.
I've been using this app for several years now, so I already know it is excellent, but the dark mode was just a sweet new feature (sorry if it's been there for a while now, i only just noticed it). I was using uTorrent before, and I never looked back. This app is lightweight, has queue limits, and so many of the features that I was looking for in uTorrent, but up to the point when i switched, they haven't added yet. Please keep up the great work!
So far I've had a great experience using this app compared to other app like uTorrent and BitTorrent. I bought the pro versions for them because I was having trouble setting the file path to the root of my SD card. For some reason they make it difficult or impossible to do so, because of some kind of OS version restrictions. But flud does it perfectly no problems. The ui is simple but not too hard to figure out. Fluid has probably won over my loyalty.
