Terrible. Pay extra to use another company. they don't explain things in full. You initially sign up for 2 years then you are locked in year to year. Just know that and you have to cancel 30 days before the end of your contract to not be charged for the full year. I had to call 3 times just to get told they can't cancel my contract immediately. No one tells you anything about the yearly contracts. Yes, I signed up but over 7 years ago! Who remembers that?

It never works, I always have to restart my phone several times. I talked to the technical support already a few times and they blamed it on my phone, but I have a new phone now and it still happens. Also interesting that all other apps work without problems.

Please do not sign with this company, stay away, read their terms of service in contract. I signed for 42 months, sent them my request in writing to cancel service 30 days before my contract expiration date, letter was delayed due to COVID-19 and company changed address, they didn't care, they said they didn't receive the letter on time. So, automatically was signed for another contract for 36 months, 2 years later I called to cancel my contract, dude tells me they can't cancel contract until

This company is the absolute worst! They installed my doorbell and the only place you can hear it ring is outside. They told me it was hard wired to the old doorbell, the installer never touched the old doorbell chimes in the house. Their solution add another regular doorbell outside so now I have two doorbell outside

Not a very intuitive app. Deleting doorbell footage is a pain because you cannot select all to mass delete useless footage. The doorbell sensitivity barely does anything so you either have it off or on. Setting times for the bell to record is dumb because if I knew when I was going to get robbed... it well wouldn't happen. This app needs some SERIOUS work. At the end of the day it does work, but it could be much better. Wish I had more than 500 characters.

Needs updates!!! The cameras take way too long to open, sometimes errors out requiring it to be opened again. Notifications don't come through or take hours to come through. Door lock feature sometimes says the doors aren't locked when they are. The video quality is choppy or just doesn't work at all. Definitely needs many updates on several features. I'm sure there's more I can't remember.

The functionality of the app is lacking. As a company that went after Vivint customers you think you would have an app or alarm system that can take a video when the door bell is pressed; could turn lights on or off based on time or sunset. There are better apps / companies that have better home automation. Fluent has some work to do to be a player in this field.

This app does not function well. When we try to change the temperature from our phones, it won't load or change. You can't access the doorbell camera when someone rings the bell so by the time it finally shows, the person is gone. Accessing the indoor cameras also take a long time to load. It's very frustrating when it is for security.

Very pleased with the equipment and set up. Had some difficulty setting up a second user and the old doorbell transformer would not support two doorbell cameras (new one ordered). Kyle (sales) and Mike (installation) were both very helpful, very friendly and patient. Both seemed very knowledgeable and accommodating. Good job folks! Much improved over last provider! 🤗

Fluent is a terrible alarm company. The service was adequate, when it was working. You are only allowed a small amount of storage space for videos a month that was usually filled up within a week. Was told I could cancel the service when I moved out of the country only to return home 2 years later to find out they had sent my account to collections and alerted the credit bureau.

The app works OK, But it is definitely the worst security company that there is, Most of the time the cameras do not work, When they do work the images are very poor. Any time I need to call for service or technical support it is very difficult to get through. Can't wait till my contract is up so I can get this junk out of my house.

App works good, but don't get this service. They claim to be all over the US but that's not true. I moved to Austin and it took them over a month to get a 3rd party contractor to set it up. I was without service that whole time. They also lock you in to a 5 year contract with absurd cancellation fee. After 20+ months I tried to cancel because I was moving in with a roommate after divorce and they wanted to charge me 80% of my remaining contract which was over $2,500!!!! Criminals!!!

This app is garbage, so is all the equipment. Nothing ever works. Got it for security. Our cars got broken into, went to go check the camera.... nothing was recorded. But I need pictures of the snow flying. Do not use this company. Multiple calls to techs and they never can solve the issue.

So far I'm extremely disappointed with Fluent. I've had my system installed since June 10th and the techs have been out to 'fix' things once and will be out again this Friday. I have major delays when someone rings the bell to receive the notification anywhere from 1 to 5min if I get one at all. My chime in my house works for 1 to 2 days after the tech leaves and then stops. 500 caricatures isnt enough to explain all my issues. If I knew I wouldn't have had them install it at all.

I had a great experience with Fluent until I had to suspend my service while I was renovating my house. They made my experience a living hell. They kept charging my credit card for 7 months that I didn't use their service. They played the cat and mouse game and FLUENT told me to talk to API and API told me to talk to FLUENT. Long story short I got frustrated and cancelled my service. Customer service long holds on the phone line are quite frustrating too. For a company that charges so much you'd think they will have better customer service. Please STAY AWAY.

If you have a camera in your Fluent alarm system you can only check one video clip at a time to delete and you cannot delete more than 25 saved video clips at a time. Very time consuming it should have a delete multiple clips at a time or delete ALL function. Also, when choosing each video clip to delete if not 100% accurate on touching each icon it will activate and play the clip and uncheck all the other previously chosen clips.Therefore making you rechoose and check all 25 video clips again.

HORRIBLE!Do yourself a favor and pass on this home security service. Their equipment is about the equivalent of any other company that's giving you the equipment and installation in return for signing a long contract with them. Mediocre. Where fluent sets itself apart is when you try to cancel your service. It can't be done online, it can't be done through their chat or through an email. You have to call and fill out an application to cancel. Three months later and I'm still being charged.

Not sure why complaints. I've owned ADT & Monitronic & now Fluent (Smart) Home (Technologies). I have many features activated & seek more & I'm very impressed. This comes from significant experience in burglar fire access control cctv industry for JC. I have a deep understanding of how this stuff works. My alarm configs are as I had them installed. ATT broadband svc is 20Mbps & has excellent response & vid quality. Sprint cellular service has excellent connectivity. Recently updated app features work with Siri-voice. I have unmatched automation and system is outstanding having other systems to compare it to. I have 2 control panels. My 1) main panel plus all of my 2) inside & 3) outside cameras have 2-way intercom. I use Fluent scenes & Siri uses Home Scene to open doors, set temperature, & disarm. I use Sleep Scene to set temperature, lock doors, & arm w/o motion. I use custom schedule to auto temp W/I +/-5 degrees of outside yr round. I want to add auto-lights and garage door now. Google Search on Apple Play Store Fluent Home. Absolutely 5 Stars for us on Apple maybe its the Android experiences but all us Apple Users rank this super high. Sorry guys on Android. -JBrown

This company is awful! Their customer service is a disaster their door bells don't work in anything below -20 but yet they sell their products in Canada! The app is slow their excuse for this is my wifi then they check the wifi only to find out its not the wifi because I have infinite and its perfect! If you are debating fluent do yourself a favour run for the hills find a different company!!!!

I dont like the fact that you only get a set amount of videos that can be saved. Why did I switch from vivint. At least with them, the videos would just delete automatic and would start over
