Exactly what I was looking for! Only thing I would add is the ability to swipe right to go to the next card. But otherwise it's a great study tool!

I use this with my beginners so they can learn to quicly recognize notes, and I recommend it for my intermediate students who have trouble recognizing notes in the 3rd octave.

I use this to help me recognize the third octave. I also use it to generate random notes for games with young music students. My flute teacher has suggested a setting for one second. She thinks three seconds is too slow. 05/15/2016. Just grabbed the update with a one second cycle on the flip timer. This is great. 05/23/2016This app is hard to beat and 4th, 5th and 6th graders love it for generating random notes for games or "quiet" study.
