Installed in seconds, logged in using reservation and last name. Clicked select all passengers and check in buttons. That's it. Got boarding passes in application, as PDF and as pictures in gallery... All this took me exactly 2 minutes. Don't know why people left negative feedbacks before, maybe previous versions were worse, but this one worked perfectly for me.
Made for stealing money and time. Cannot login. Does not remember me. I selected seats and it showed a charge. Could not deselect. Had to accept payment or could not use the app. Only by phoning to the company I had them deselect the option (you pay for selecting seats unless 24 hours earlier). Afterwords, I cannot enter the app with booking number and last name. Now I have to pay charges at the airport for not checking in electronically, and also a higher charge for extra luggage at the airport. Designed against the individual traveller who is too small to count.
Application won't open at all, reporting "no internet connection". My network connection is solid and stable, no other app reporting any problem. Fix it, please. After reviewing others responses, I wonder, how could this app still be on the market and have such a high score (3.8) for being completely useless? I used previous version, that worked for me somehow, but I completely agree with most users, providing negative reaction.
Please reply to my email and request. I booked a round trip from London to Dubai for 5 people. You should confirm our flight. Your app does not work. This treatment is not acceptable. There is no excuse to take our money for nothing
Worst app for worst airline ever. I had to pay for the seats and a suitcase (like with low cost airlines) but the app and my on-line booking say I travel with hand luggage only. The app doesn't give a barcode nor summary of your check-in. One is about to travel without confirmed tickets. I tried to download the tickets but message popped out that I have to swap them at the airline's airport check-in desk. Feels like whole shebang run by some clowns. Fourth world app for fourth world airline.
I'll give 2 stars for design. But the app simply doesn't work. I was about to checked in when it gave me an error for not putting in "country" I put in both country options many times and re-tried. Did not work. Does not work. Your a huge airline, get a working app.
Horrible company. They say that you can change flight dates, if you pay extra and of course after you buy their ticket they will refuse to make a refund or change the dates. They lie to you and try to make fool of you in each step of the booking as well. If you do not send your boarding pass to your email, you will end up paying extra 15 euros just for them to print your boarding pass.
this new app is way better than the old one! the only thing that I would recommend is ability to access to the account of Panorama 1. Club within the app, not redirecting to website 2. Manage the redemption of points for tickets or other services solely and not by the operators of UIA Rather than the above mentioned everything else is excellent!
Very poor functionality, UIA usually requires you to check-in and administer bookings online (e.g. choose seats). if you don't do this online they will charge you at the check-in. However the app does not let you do these things (even though it claims it does). This means you have no choice but to pay at check-in. Is this a deliberate technique to extort every last cent from travellers? I suspect so. A shameful way of doing business.
I downloaded this app in Vilnius and it gives me the option to choose various European languages and Chinese, but there is no option to change the language to English. It is shocking to see the response from the developer, as the tab from where the booking is done still appears in only the local language, with no option to change to English. It is a real pity that the webmaster cannot see this.
Overall, the app is good, but it has issues in the dark theme. Also, this app does not allow to download PDFs from the Managed Flights section, showing them instead without the capability to share. Also, flights can not be rescheduled from the app. The usability can be improved...
The app has problems with online check in and needed assistance at the airport. Due to show at the gate that it was not posible to check in online avoided the pay of €15 for the latest boarding pass. Previously I had to pay due to not checked in upon arrival at the gate. So, this is a point for improvement.
Searching takes too long (more than 7-10 secs). and if you want to check another day, you still need to wait a lot. Guys, please, do the search for the week flights in the background or optimize the search logic somehow, UX is quite poor here Upd: guys, your recent update rocks! thanks!)
This app is stable and works as it should. But as usual ans expected, UIA is a terrible airliner in terms of hatdware and staff training. 30 years since Soviet collapse and almost the same. What kind of international airliner with state name in it operates airplane with most of the cabin seats broken ie the head-rest missing? 7 years ago, it was the same, with head-rest missing, I had to long for soft landing and keep my head upright trying not to fall asleep to avoid neck injury. Shame!
The app doesn't sync with the web. I checked in on web, but in the app id doesn't show my boarding pass, just proposes to check-in again. Very confusing.
Worst experience ever from an airline!!! I booked a flight ticket which stated 1 hand luggage and a small bag. Then realised i will actually need an extra hand luggage. Went back to the app to adjust/add extra bag, realised it will cost me the price of a full ticket just to add this bag then changed my mind. I then recieved an email stating I must complete this transaction because my original ticket has now been cancelled!!!!! I called customer service who said "oh, the system auto cancelled"
Got notification about discounts on flights, clicked on Book now, got redirected to the home page of the app. Brilliant! Also, it doesn't remember your information, which is annoying
This is much improved over earlier versions, especially the check in and flight booking sections. Shame that the Panorama section still sends you to the UIA website, as opposed to handling that in app.
Doesn't save your login, actually doesn't have a login, cannot save a booking for checking in in the future. Most links just send you to the website. Basically useless.
I had a problem with online check-in. When I came to Customer Service at airport I had very rude lady that checked me in from her system,claming I press smth wrong, I tried to check in several times on the website and through the app, but it didnt work, it say "ooops, we unable to check you in online, please call customer service representative", which I did and she said "itsall good, should be working now". BUT it didn't work. What's the point of this app if this doesn't work? PLEASE FIX IT!
Great app! Everything works great! Like especially that you can save boarding pass to galery and there is no need for screenshot. Easy registration. Все просто супер! Легка реєстрація та круто, що можно зберегти квиток до галереї та не треба робити скриншот. Дуже класна деталь.
Does what it has to, but won't remember your details. Wth, why? That was the whole point of downloading it vs use mobile website. After booking it suddenly says "if you leave the page the results will be lost" which is scary. I just paid and it will be lost? The rest worked fine so fat.
At first time it worked fine. After last update, it stucks to confirmation step and never proceed to check in. Unistall-Reinstall didn't solve it. Check in from site or iOS app worked without issues. [Update]: The issue has been solved. Now it works fine.
Espec. 5+ for that - I could choose "Germany" but language "English" and/ but )) currency also was able to set independently to the "Eur" or anything else. ... Good user scenario, simple and user friendly design. For these kind of apps,, both web and smartphone (I am Galaxy S8 user) are good. Tbh thanks to these 2 reasons usually you gain even new customers for the company. Very good!
Booking is easy but refund amount is 90 days process. So this is not fair.
Doesn't work -- the app hangs with a blank screen right after clicking "save parameters" for language and currency on the very first page. No way round it. New bug fixes have evidently broken it.
