Great station, terrible app! Stops working every 30 seconds or so. From the reviews (almost all negative) it has been this way for at least 2 years so I assume that the folks running the station aren't concerned.
I cannot use my phone and keep streaming this app. Useless to me because it includes the fact that I cannot leave my screen on while listening. Zero stars - who would even make an audio app like that.
App doesn't play in the background. Once your screen turns off, the broadcast stops playing.
This app hasn't been updated since before they fired Jamie Allman. If there is another streaming source, they should discontinue this app and redirect to the new stream.

Continuously shut down after 15-20 minutes. Then have to reopen. Can't find setting that limits amount of on time

Can an update be done so that my phone screen can be locked and the app will still run? That's a 5-star app if so.

It's okay for accessing 97.1 website content but the radio streaming is good for 5 min at a time & then shuts off. The news alert notification only shows some of the alert and then when you click it to read more it goes to the radio streaming. Many times there is no more information anywhere in the app (ie - notification says something like "Senator Al Franken resigns amid growing" & if you open the app from the notification there is no completion of the headline much less additional information)
I usually refrain from leaving bad reviews, but in this case I'm making an exception. This app constantly stops streaming, requiring me to unlock the phone and bring great the app to the foreground. Unacceptable! I've put up with it too long gone. Uninstalling!
Station is great, app is not. I would certainly give 5 stars if the app wouldn't cut off every time I try to run it in the background while looking at FB or another app. I can run Google Music in background so I know the technology is out there.
