App constantly won't load at all. Just a blue screen that won't progress. When it does, if I click on an FML to read the comments, that page is SUPER glitchy and kind of flashes over and over and if I try to scroll it always zips me back to the top so I can't read them. This happens at least 90% of the time. App is borderline unusable. And the ads.... dear lord.... too many! I want to pull my hair out!! Content is funny and is the only reason I sometimes suffer every other flaw.

I enjoy the stories, but the app is so buggy. It doesn't open the comment section for the story I want, and when it does, I can't read the comments cause it keeps bumping back up to the top. I also have to insist on favoriting a post since it doesn't do it the first (or even second, third) time I press the star. Formatting doesn't load properly either, I just gave up on reading blogs and news, since I can't see what's written and it glitches out anyway. Please fix, it's incredibly frustrating.

I used to love FML but they kept adding more and more ads. I get it they deserve to make money but the amount of ads they use is ridiculous. The worst part is you'll get a full page ad that says "click here to deactivate" but that's a lie. If you do "click here" it takes you to the ads site. What you actually have to do is wait for the "X" to appear and then click that. As much as I enjoyed the content from FML I finally had to delete it because of all the ads and I do not plan on going back.

18 October 2020 Update. Even if your phone's volume is on low the ads will still blast at full volume, then will refuse to close even once the ad has finished forcing me to close the app reopen it and hope it doesn't get stuck on another ad. Along with the rest if the stuff below. App won't let me login. I constantly have to uninstall and reinstall to make any features on the app besides reading the FML to work. Now it won't let me log and everything I do it tells me there has been an error.

While I enjoy the content of this app, every time I open it it pops up with an advertisement that sets my media volume to maximum without my permission! I consistently have my audio set to silent, and only turn it up when watching media. I almost never set it to full. Just a few minutes ago, I consciously made sure my media volume was muted before starting the app. As soon as the ad popped up, my media was at maximum again! I checked my settings and I have given this app no permissions.

Decided to try the app again after several years. Immediately after launching I get a full screen pop up ad that has a not so easy to close button that I misclicked for yet another pop up. After managing to close those pop ups the app is requesting permission to my device? I think not. This app is just another way to throw more ads at you. Just use the website with an adblocker.

BE AWARE! This app will turn up media volume to MAX when an ad starts up. I didn't realize until today it's this app making my volume jump. I've been paranoid the last week, always turning down my volume before I open an app I know will/may have sound. I did the same before I opened FML, a second later I had an ad blasting at 100% volume. App quality has dropped significantly since Xmas 2018. Devs! Please respond!

Loved this app up until recently..most of the ad problems have been fixed, but it seems like there are still a ton. Also, the moderators for the daily featured seem to have slacked. Stories are jumbled and hard to read and decipher. Many just don't make sense. :/

i always loved reading fml. As of 2019 they have not been updating posts very often. Everytime l open the app it cranks my volume to Max even though i usually have my volume turned off. It's incredibly annoying to have to push the volume button down constantly so the ads that pop up don't blare throughout the room I'm in.

i read The FMLs as my morning routine for waking up. As entertaining as the stories are, the app automatically puts my media volume up to full and occasionally plays audible advertisements. Both myself and my house mates don't appreciate that at 4 in the morning when I'm getting up for work. I can't turn off this setting

The app crashes every thirty seconds. There's no editing or moderation of any kind, so half the posts don't make any sense. Also, the search option doesn't work, just like 90% of the functions in this app.

used to have the app, didn't bother with it anymore because of ads and random crashes. Today I scroll through reviews from 2015 to Dec of 2018 (now) and not only have the ad and crashing problems not been fixed but if you look at all the other responses to these reviews you'll see that it's just a copy and paste response to their problems. the only reason this app still has a decent rating is because people deleted the app and didn't change their rating.

I have very few problems or bugs with this app, but it desperately needs night mode! It would make mine, and probably many other people's experience a lot more pleasant. It is painfully bright to scroll in more dimly lit places.

This app is terrible. The font is tiny and terribly hard to see and you can't change it or zoom in, the comment section is a shaking atrocious nightmare. When you "like" a comment it brings you back to the top of the comments page. I had to buy the ad free version just to make it so the comment section would load and stop shaking and going back to the top of the page and it still has some issues. The color scheme is awful. The content is great .I normally love the FML website. This app is just terrible though.

This app was totally perfect for scrolling through mindlessly... until I started getting 20 second long, unskippable ads every single time I pressed a button or cast a vote. The real FML here is how much time you'll be wasting with pop-up ads.

yet another ad just turned my volume to max and started playing. previous ads over the last however many months will pop up or suddenly take over the whole screen. stories are already added so infrequently or bad that I kinda wonder why I even bother with the app. I get you need ads to generate revenue but these are genuinely unpleasant.

Since now every time I click on literally anything on the screen and am forced to watch ads that I can't skip, I will be deleting the app from my phone. Get rid of all the ads and I might be back.

I actually love reading the FMLs. But I absolutely hate that if you hit the wrong reaction button there is no way to unselect it. So frustrating!! Unfortunately my phone screen causes this to happen fairly often. All I need is a way to fix the reactions & it would be 5 stars.

So up until now the app was perfectly fine until the powers that be decided spamming its users every time they rated an FML was a great idea. In case you were wondering it's not it is incredibly disruptive to the point where I'm thinking of uninstalling the app. OK an update they've fixed the issue that was spamming users, although since the update I can't access the video FMLs but that's a small issue I can live with.

Same as everyone else. ads pop up and turn volume up to max. Needs to be fixed. Ads are fine. Ads at full volume when volume was muted, unacceptable.

The app is great and all but is pretty buggy, the first time I load into it after a little while the display is always glitched out. And when I try to scroll down in comment sections it automatically scrolls me back up which is super annoying

this app used to be great, now, not so much. full screen ads that you can't exit on opening the app, constantly sends notifications without the option to disable. ads between fmls...what a joke! uninstalled!

Enjoy the app and all the funny stories, but for some reason when I go into the comments section and scroll down, it always scrolls itself to the top, literally Everytime I try to scroll down to look at the comments on the bottom. I can't read the comments at the bottom, because it won't let me. Not sure if they can fix this bug or not, it's really annoying.
