I've find it an ambitious, yet poor user experience. It hangs unexpectedly and makes the simplest actions tedious. Example, there's nowhere to retrieve an Approval Request after it mysteriously disappears. The user experience has not been given much thought, it seems. The same goes for the website, with no immediate sign on screen when it auto-logs you out. It seems great with all the features, but when put to the test, it tends to come short.

The overall functionality and design is awesome. However, most Fridays and over the weekend, the app seems to be have technical issues. When attempting to login in just hangs. FNB should send a notification/sms to clients whenever there's a problem with the app. I've never received any. As well, it seems during weekend, the app does not allow any applications to be done. This is a great app, please do work on fixing the bugs.

The app suddenly stopped working about 10 days ago and says there is a connection error. Shows circle going round and never connects. Have uninstalled and reinstalled but no change. Called FNB helplines but they ask for ID and authentication via the app which can't open so can't even get through. Ridiculous system assumes your fnb problem is never the app itself 😡 Had to go into branch but still no one could figure out the problem. Can't transact as everything needs authentication via the app.

Good day. Would you guys please offer some assistance as my app doesn't work properly. I have to press options twice in order for them to work, and it does get frustrating. My app is verified by Fnb and they also haven't seen this issue before. My biometrics also don't work and it keeps saying I have to connect to the Internet even when I am on WiFi. Popia prevents myself to disclose personal information and some insight would really be appreciated. Thank you.

Terrible app and service. It keeps telling you about features that doesn't work and when you call in for support no one can assist you. They do know how to transfer your call to the next department that won't help either until you give up and drop the call. Time for a new bank

I'm using a Redmi A9 phone and the app is not working on my device. It keeps on saying unable to connect. Using WiFi and data it doesn't want to connect. Also uninstall and reinstall, also updated my fone software but still the app does not want to open on my device. I can install the app, but when I want to open the app it just say can't connect.

App looks nice but the chat service barely works, I constantly wait for messages,to have them appear all at once aswell as one that states that the chat ended cause I did not respond even though I have stayed in the chat waiting for a reply, the chat tends to also duplicate my sent messages when I reply to a message in secure chat. Also no options to cancel insurance that was applied for on the app seems like a Intrapment as the only way to cancel a policy is to message them or phone for support

Used to love the app but for the past weeks a very frustrating experience. I have to tap more than once on a button for it to work. More often than not it says unable to connect or the approve link take forever to load when using internet banking.

Really happy with the app, however, lately the notification to approve online purchases with my card disappears as soon as I click it and I'm presented with the app login screen. If I log in, I can't find any way to approve the transaction and instead have to wait several minutes for the OTP instead.

What a useless app! After much trying to set up on my phone, I finally got it. When I tried to log in, it kept on saying 'the system is currently unavailable'. This went on for 2 days, I then decided to uninstall and reinstall the app, now, I can't get passed entering my username. Very frustrating

This is probably the worst build app I've ever used. Constantly disconnecting. Colors are glitching. Can't read the text due to text and background Colors are too similar. Often the back key breaks the app where I need to launch the app again.

This app is godawful. I have had the capitec app and the standard bank app, the fnb app is the worst. I always need to refresh due to connection issues even on wifi. I can't access my card details easily...there's always an error. There are so many small glitches that are annoying

The secure chat service is making me loose it. There is most of the time like in the 100+ people in the que waiting for help. There is not a option to click on for credit card! I will be waiting for ever and when I get a Agent, the chat is dropped. Weekends there is nobody that can help with credit card issues. There is not an option for DEBIT ORDER TO CANCEL. I am very disappointed with this app. PLEASE CREATE AN OPTION FOR CREDIT CARD ISSUES URGENTLY, OR GIVE ME AN EMAIL ADDRESS TO GET HELP!!

This app hasn't worked since the recent updates from November onwards. Upon opening the app it always states that there is a connection error, it then prompts you to auto dial a number for internet banking which always gives another error. There are tons of other reviews from other users experiencing this exact issue, but it seems as though nothing has been done to fix the matter. This app needs to be optimized with all versions of Android ASAP.

Its great and easy to use, but i dont understand why they cancelled the option of transfering money sent via ewallet. Now if someone sends you money through ewallet, you have to find an atm to withdraw then deposit into your account Yet that option made things easier to transfer from ewallet to my account.

Was a good and easy app to use. Now my accounts are all piled in to one section. Clerk told me that my phone was not verified, we checked and it was verified. My accounts are all still bunched together. Also Stupid that you cant turn off the popups or whatever it is that comes up when you log in, would much more prefer to just get to my accounts when login in, instead off pressing "got it" first. Make it the user's choice

It's been freezing on me. Phone said it was the app. Cant pay my water & rates only electricity??? Why? Find the pop up adds confuse things when ure trying 2 accomplish a set task. Otherwise it does what its supposed 2.

This is the most dumbest banking app ever,I took less than 2 minutes to authenticate my other banking apps and still unable to on this one.the selfie option takes forever and still freezes,and once declined,the process cannot be restarted again..I'm downloading the app because I no longer have my previous phone but somehow that's the next available option..the app is unnecessarily user unfriendly..

My review still stays at 1 star. Useless app, as its always offline. Have to enter password ten million times. I just want to finish my PayPal set up. Been bloody weeks now to get this sorted. Is that too much to ask? All I wanted was an online banking for PayPal. To jump through such hoops is ridiculous. And definitely not user friendly.

I am having a problem when I have to perform any issues I have to press everything twice to proceed to the next stage. Even when I am just login in I use the finger print but then still have to type my password and press login twice before it can actually log in

The app is almost for ever unavailable due to maintenance if you need it. I can't see how you can upgrade a app if it doesn't work and all you can say is sorry. Not acceptable. Do something about it. I am extremely frustrated.

This app has so many errors, for months it asked me to update details and then when I tried it always had an error. Eventually I had to call to prevent my account from being frozen. Now I'm trying to use the secure chat and it keeps glitching messages disappear and can't get my problem resolved because it keeps saying the service isn't available. The FNB app used to be amazing. It's just gone downhill.
