fNotifier

fNotifier is a really simple app. Just paste your favourite RSS feed and activate notifications. You can choose time interval for checking, choose a ringtone, choose your LED color and more. When something new is published in the feed you will be notified!

Notifications from your school's website, university website, just a news feed from a local newspaper... It's up to you what notifications you will choose. Just choose your favourite RSS channel :)

This app is ad-free and open source. Have fun!

Notifications are 3+ hours late, despite a 5 minute refresh time. Also, my phone displays a message saying that fnotifier is using a large amount of battery power, several times a day. Doesn't seem to be worth the battery drain if the notifications are that late.

Need option to retrieve full article, currently it shows headlines only & if we we click on it, it redirects to browser and loads that url, instead make it open full story within app. Please also add multiple feed link option.

One feed only. Push Notifications for said feed 👍 -If all you need is 1 rss feed in your life, it's 5⭐s. You can also look at previous feed notifications.

Surprising it took so long for someone to develop this. It works perfectly but from what I can tell, only supports one feed. I may be wrong there though. Beautiful and works well. And it's open source. Dev, please add a way to donate.

I couldn't set up facebook notifications via many ways. But this was as simple as that :)

Simple app doing just what it is supposed to. Would be nice to have multiple feeds, but better not to over complicate it.

No way to delete or to set days to keep notifications.
