Foap - sell your photos

The idea is great ! But the app doesn't work... it needs a big upgrade to fix the problems... and maybe 80% of the photos are really bad... I think some moderation would be more than welcome. Having to scroll hundreds of terrible pictures can be laborious... But still it's not all bad !

Very confusing. Trying to enter a competition for a reward and followed the instructions to earn foap points, which took much longer than they said it would, I uploaded my pictures, or so I thought I did. I spent so much time describing each picture and adding tags. Then there is no confirmation that I was entered into the competition. Plus it seems that the pictures take quite a while to upload and that multiple pictures of the same upload. Sometimes I would get kicked out of the app..

Seems to be a pretty good little app, only just started using it. User friendly, BUT I am having a problem in which, when I go to upload photos it just closes out and goes back to the news feed or whatever else I was in before and I get a notification that an upload is in progress which will stay indefinitely until I force close the app. It will do this for select pictures with no reason as to why it won't let me publish etc.. Some I can upload others, no. So far this is my main problem.

HORRIBLE app. Doesn't work 90% of the time. I just keep getting an error notice that says "this app has a bug. Update after developers produce a fix" so LAME. When it does work, they choose the worst pictures just because the people pay or get lots of friends to "like" their pictures. They don't care about actual skill. They chose a lame boring cat picture for photo of the week just because of likes. Even though they shouldn't be allowed to remove my reviews, they keep dissappearing anyway.

I love this app but the ability to make in app purchases needs to be added. In my 3+ years on this site I have gained over 23k followers, uploaded nearly 1500 photos(missions and market) but only made 5 sales. It's an app for exposure at best right now. I believe an in app ability to buy photos would increase sales instead of having the extra steps of potential buyers needing to leave the app and go search through the website just to buy a photo they like. It's a major turnoff

SO MANY ISSUES!!! 1. survey says it will give you 200 coins. After 20 mins of doing 3 infographics, I was told that I don't qualify and got 4 coins. 2. creating an album doesn't work. You can't upload your own photos to an album, only other people's photos.... For some reason? 3. tried to upload 110 photos. After the upload finished, the app crashed and didn't upload anything. 4. only ONE winner can be picked from THOUSANDS for each mission. Even the "premium" missions 5. no help from devs

Im very dissapponted about this app!! I added few photos to see how is going, but when i saw none of my photos were accepted, i decided to uninstall this app!! This is not for everyone how they say in their introduction!! I had only one photo accepted, and then next day my photo was removed from "accepted photos" !! Shame!

I like the app, but there are a few bugs and I've reached out to support about my issues and I've been almost completely ignored. I've also recently won a prize and reached out to support about how to claim my prize and I am receiving no feedback. Aside from that, the app is fun! I just wish there was an easier, quicker way to receive help for my questions.

Once you find your way around a bit the app is decent. Unfortunately, I started getting a message about server problems and was unable to do whatever I was attempting until eventually not even able to log in. Disappointed

This app is garbage. Major server issues daily,news feed hasn't worked in 4 days. Now the app is useless, I have 5g and still get a message saying we're having server issues. I've made 3$ on this app. I've seen amazing photos from other people that don't sell. The ones I've seen sell most days when the app works is garbage pop glitzy pictures of women in hats or rarely a bad photo of a random car. How is this app taken seriously? You can have your 3 bucks back, less headache for me.

The app.is great and simple with photography but there's no marketing slide on the app where you can actually sell the photographs on device like a smartphone. Its been more than a few weeks but no luck and I'm still stuck at 0 because this needs a market page so that users can sell photos more efficiently.

Great app for the photography enthusiast!! Needs a little work, stops running sometimes, and you may have to uninstall, then reinstall. I'm sure they will fix this issue. Hint, Hint. 👍

Getting notifications consistently to upload photos for different missions but I cannot access my account to do so. ALL my passwords get rejected with message (invalid credentials) both on my mobile and laptop. So frustrating.

Good day I have been on Foap but today I was suddenly thrown out and every time I put in my email account and password it says invalid credentials????? I requested to change my password but still nothing. Can someone please help me to get my account back I have loaded up a lot of my photos. Why can't I lock in??

It needs a premium mode or something without ads! I'll gladly pay for no ads, but if I need to stick with ads, the app will be uninstalled.

I can't upload a photo without it crashing or telling me that it's experiencing server problems

I just started using Foap this summer, and overall it's been great. It was tough to navigate through at first, but I got it. And there are some things on there that I'm still not sure of it's function or purpose, like "lightbox." I was urged by support to reinstall the app because it was glitching. Super cool that they actually help, but super annoyed by the glitches. Although I'm not annoyed enough to quit using the app.

The whole system of sharing and selling photos seem like a great idea, and in fact it is, but the biggest downside is the app itself. It's really unstable and laggy. It takes a lot of time to process the uploads and it's filled with many bugs, minor glitches indeed, but they should be patched as after a while it becomes really annoying. Also, I don't know if it's the app neccessarily but I keep on getting a message saying there's a problem with the servers everytime I enter the Explore section.

This app is so wonderful. The talent and variety of photographs is amazing and it's a lot of fun to be able to share your phone pictures with other people and companies that are looking for real, raw, unedited pictures you never thought would be noticed. The only problem I have had is that sometimes I can not upload my pictures from Google photos and then all the sudden I can so it's weird. I'm not what the glitch is but I keep having to uninstall and reinstall the app.

Love it. Easy to load photos, curate folders, like and comment on others photos and find like minded beginner to experienced phone photographers. There IS a learning curve if you're willing to read FAQs ask questions of others and check with customer service. Oh yeah, fiddle with it and remember the sequence that gets you where you want to go. It did take me about 3 days to figure the ins and outs. Don't get frustrated.

few set backs: 1. the "upload in progress" is buggy, it stays on the notification bar indefinitely after a file upload. 2. the rating feature is also buggy. for example, after a file upload, the photo can have rating 2.0 eventhough noone has rated the photo, and the average ratings are also incorrect. 3. anybody can rate anybody's photo, even those who don't understand photography at all, and this is actually a bad feature

I find this app very promising.... But it would be nice if you could upload pictures all the time instead of constantly waiting for the picture to NOT be uploaded. Every time I try to join a mission, I try to add a picture but instead of just constantly uploads and just doesn't add it. And then when I go to my profile to add a picture there, I get a list of photos that I want to upload and once I tap it, it doesn't upload at all!! Please fix this issue otherwise I'm deleting my account and app.

Several years I am trying to use this app. 9 out of 10 times it does not load properly. It either do not load pictures (so you not even able to see them), or gives you message about "server problems, try later". Got a message from foap support team about "the issue is being fixed, use the latest version" - it's a complete BS. All works (not works!) as before. I am using the latest version, since to see the updates in my followers list I need to reinstall the app at least once a week.

I wanted to take part in a PREMIUM contest by watching adds for half an hour or more. Then I unlocked 2 slots for uploading 2 photos. I've been trying for a whole day now to upload them - never succeeded... I don't see a reason for this and its extremely frustrating. I've been using android for 10 years now and this is the worst user experience I've ever seen.

Amazing app! You can gain followers and reviews for your photos! You can win big amounts of money, too! There are some problems though...The biggest problem is that the quality of every photo gets really poor when it is uploaded. Another big problem is now that there aren't many free missions because they made most of them paid and it's not cheap.

Absolutely horrible app. I was put off using this app almost immediately. Its very clunky and poorly designed. I don't find it particularly easy to use and it takes an absolute age to upload even a single photograph. The worst thing is that uploads are constantly failing and timing out. The keyboad keeps freezing up and not responding. The adverts at the top look ugly. Its just a horrible experience.

I've been using Foap for a few years now and while I like the app interface, I don't understand why they still don't have an online interface for uploading. While it's easy to upload photos from your phone, it adds an unnecessary step to upload anything from a real camera. I like to think my photos are decent, but I've never sold anything and I've seen tons of exceptional photos that were also never sold. My main complaint is the large number of bot users since 99% of my "followers" seem to have names that contain "18sexy.eu" or the like.

I have to change my review. Every time I try and get on it tells me I have the wrong credentials after multiple tries knowing I don't have an issue remembering my password I use forgot password to reset and then it says experiencing server issues. But it doesn't stop foap from sending me notifications to my phone. I haven't been able to log on for months with the same issue. Very irritated and very disappointed.
