I've used this app for 3 years without problems (android 4.4), even with an upgraded phone (android 9). Until recently: after low pressure alarm and subsequent inflation and physical reinstall of the sensor: no connection. Followed the troubleshooting guideline, no luck. HOWEVER, I've experienced excellent support via email, after getting through the first standard email to follow the standard things (which I already tried). They guided me to get a firmware upgrade of the sensors, and had no connection problems anymore after that. After a week without problems, I could uninstall the original app and install Fobo Bike 2 app. Thanks for the great support - after some period of use, I will review the new app.
No way of confirming Bluetooth connection in mobile Bluetooth settings. last update Dec 2018. No physical troubleshooting mode. Great product when working. let down by poor software/app. "Please wait" seems to be it's favourite screen. Worked fine for a month. Now I cannot "enable" either unit. Completely useless.
app is unusable with the new Android updates. the screen fades yo black within seconds after opening. trying to access menus or bike doesn't change. i had tried that and it didn't work. I uninstalled and reinstalled, and now the app doesn't recognize the sensors?
App can't connect to sensors. Tried many times over many months. Bluetooth on sensor is on as I can see it on bluetooth devices. I see comments that many people having same issue. What are you doing to fix the problem?
Having the same issues as other readers, spent hours trying to get to pair, including the troubleshooting steps given by FOBO. Giving up for now- don't have the time to troubleshoot their system-should be a lot easier- buying a different system.
Great when it worked. Spent many hours over a matter of days trying different phones, batteries, uninstall, install, reading forums, etc. Can no longer get one of the sensors to work. Item still for sale but no longer supported since 2018. Look elsewhere to keep yourself safe. *UPDATE* Had to load Fobo app on to my iPad. Followed the instructions to update the firmware of the TPMS units. Works again with my android device. The update tab of the app is only available for Apple, not android. 😕
Problems for Android. Great when they work, but I upgraded my phone, now one will not work. Reached out for help and was told they need an update, but only available through an Apple device or I could send them to the company in Malaysia and they could update them for me. So I was given an option, but I'm in the USA, so to me, not a great option. Just make the update compatable with Android, I cant be the only one. Until then, Andriod buyers beware. Trash. Very hard to get the bluetooth to connect if it all. Save your money and buy a better product. This is my 2nd set. I see they have a Fobo 2 model. Hopefully they fixed this issue. I wouldnt trust model 2 because if model 1
Software will not recognize a second set of sensors installed on my other bike. Contacted customer service who gave me instructions to install the sensors and pair them, the same informations that I have been using. They told me to install new batteries which I already had. They had me install a third party app to see if the sensors were transmitting which I did and sent them screenshots to prove that the sensors were working. At this point they stopped answering my emails
Have tried this on several different android platforms. Simply doesn't work. No Bluetooth connection. FOBO should be considered "Junk"
All of a sudden this useless software dims screen brightness to zero as soon as it opens. Makes it absolutely useless.
Worked great until I got a new phone (Android), fobo app on new phone will not recognize sensors. Tried for two days, Removed them and replaced with different brand.
I have a disabled sensor and can't re-enable it now it costs more money. I lost a sensor during a long move I just found it and want to reenable
These were awesome when they worked. $100.00 and they haven't worked since September. worked about 4 months.
BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! these do not work with android system. tried 2 different phones and they will not work. Dont waste your money on these. wish I would have read the reviews on here before I purchased them.
terrible, worked for less then 3 months. after bike say for 5 weeks all sensors disconnected and will not reconnect. do not buy! look elsewhere

Having to do a reinstall is a complete nightmare. I bought a much cheaper system for my wife's bike and will be switching mine to that one too very soon. The hours I have wasted trying to uninstall and reinstall this is ludicrous. App service continually runs even when app is closed. Have tried to be patient with this system but would rather walk across broken glass than waste my day trying to detect the sensor. Also now have an incredible amount of extra batteries due to them saying it just needs a new one. VERY disappointed.
