Still can't figure out how load the third sensor into a window that isn't available on any settings window, and the paper and online instructions are blank as to any such changes.
easy to use. dependable. accurate. just not sure the mobile phone is all that great as a central display. personally I would prefer a fixed, mounted, wired display devise on the bike. my phone is always in some jacket pocket and therefore the pressure readings are only available when stopped. Then I have to find the phone, open it, and look at the display. IMO very clumsy. BUT the product does what it says it will do and it is better than crawling around on your knees with a pressure gauge.
App is ALWAYS ON and sits on top of ALL your other apps, which gets annoying real quick. You need to move it around the screen constantly to use your other apps. Yes, you can turn off the appear on top, but its a pita to turn it back on and off via app permission setting on the phone just so it would display on top of a map apps you might be using. Sensors dont stay connected. Very rare for both sensors to be connected at the same time.
Awesome little gadget. Now I can keep an eye real-time on my tire pressure even while riding with an option to have it displayed on top of google map in a reduced window. Love the product, install, configure (10 min max) and forget it. I have been using it for more than 3 years now and won't ride without it. Highly recommended.
The old app was 5 stars. I took off a star for new FOBOBike2 app. I am ambivalent about some of the new features and they did not effect my rating. 2 things that the old app had that were not included in this version caused my rating to drop 1 star. #1-The old app would start when I turned on bluetooth and off when bt was turned off. I miss that. #2-The tire pressure readings would be grayed out until the current reading refreshed. I miss that quick easy visual clue. Please consider adding back.
I'm on the second generation now, and I can't believe the improvements they made. The app works flawless, the sensors do as well. I have done over 30,000 miles at least with no issues. And I made a suggestion to the devs to add a front and rear tire on the floating tab and they added very quickly. Great support.
Solid App. I have experienced a few delays in retrieving live information, but with some patience, it updates the motorcycle's tire pressure effectively and accurately. Great for the pre-ride inspection or for spot checking during an adventure.
I have been using Fobo Bike 2 system for several months and have found it very easy to install and use. Performance is faultless and works very well with my Galaxy Note8. Battery and resource usage seems minimal and I've tested the accuracy - very good! Congratulations FOBO, I'll be recommending this product. One suggestion - any consideration being given to a Galaxy Watch (Android Wearable) companion app? I believe Apple Watch is already supported?
some feedback: 1. can you make fobo bike 1 work also with this app? i have fobo bike 1 and fobo bike 2 and i dont want to use two different apps for my two bikes. 2. why does the app need to be connected with the internet when installing the sensor? fobo bike 1 can pair sensor even when offline. overall, app works. sometimes does not turn off when i switch off my bluetooth. will update review when app issues are fixed. thanks
I bought the fobo system for my trike and after installing the app on my phone I can't even select for the third wheel option . This is ridiculous to pay 200$ cad for something I can't use correctly.
Works great but still not without its problems. Somehow the sensors paired up and started giving the same readouts. Had to delete one and reinstall it.
Awesome app, awesome TPMS !!!, don't know how I lived without it... Great piece of mind while you're riding to be able to look down and see that everything's okay.... before you have a problem...
An incredible accessory to my motorcycle Very easy to install and easy to operate if you have a touring bike it's one of the best accessories to have you don't have to get under the bike to check the tires pressure I am very happy with this product.
(2019) Propose to have the option to choose a sound channel (android), alarm, media, or ringtone & notification. Media sound level is in my case always low. (2021 July, Still valid.)
How the hell do you shut it off? Had to do a forced shut down. Every time.
Great device and app. The plugs were easy to install. I check my tire pressure way more often than I did before. Now I can just pull out my phone right before I get ready to ride. I love bragging to people about my connected bike!
Conected easily, works perfect. As soon as I walk near the bike, they sync to my phone. Easy to program. Adjustable warning limits and sounds.
The device and the app are beyond simple to install. Other than having to replace a battery within 15 minutes, everything is working perfectly.
5/31 update: Works with both sets of sensors now! These apps have twice warned me of impending tire failure and I was able to plug 'n go, rather than shred a tire.
Have both Bike and Car systems and super annoying to need two separate apps. UX is a little confusing, though has got better with subsequent releases. Overlay is handy, but wish the data was available for other apps (eg Waze or OBDLink) to integrate as a sensor/warning into their displays
