OmniFocus 3 compatibility on Android. I love my Droid, but OmniFocus was the one thing I really missed from iOS. There's no other system like it and it's part of all areas of focus in my life. This is pretty much the only Android solution in active development by anyone. Thank you! PS: Like another user stated, yes, you may have to rebuild your database in order to get it to work with Focus GTD. You rebuild it and then you replace the server database with the newly rebuilt database. Otherwise the Omnifocus 2 database may continue to sync. It's really easy to do and you do not lose any of your data. Once that's done, then you're good to go 👍🏻
Works like a charm. A vast improvement over FocusGTD 2, and better even than Omnifocus's own web client. Developer is active, consistently pushing out improvements and bugfixes. My top two requests are (1) A button to "save and add new" task from the task detail page. Would save clicks when adding a lot of tasks to the inbox (2) dark mode
UI could be a bit more polished and app's a bit expensive, but seems to be working well.
This application is excellent t fous Omnifocus users that have left the behind. Omnifocus is an expensive product and this allows us Android users to continue with our investment. It would be nice if it had a dark mode and some drag and drop functionality but it's not a big deal. Omnifocus is and I don't expect them to do an Android client.
Great to have OmniFocus access on my Android phone. Working in a company using PC's and Android phones, I was always challenged to integrate OF into my workflows. Now with Focus GTD3 and OmniFocus web access, I can utilize OF in all my work fronts. So happy to to see the Forecast mode available, and though my Perspectives have to be utilized via my iPad, the choices available make the Android solution very workable. Thanks for the effort!
Works fine. The login for sync screen is incompatible with the dark theme. Also it seems to cause conflicts while editing in omnifocus for mac/iphone whenever it syncs.
Loved v2. Hoping v3 is as good or better. I would have liked a free upgrade, or a v2-v3 upgrade, but for the price, I'm OK. It's not an Omni level product, but for an individual dev, he's got my support! Thanks!
Great to have access to my OF3 tasks on Android. I found it necessary to rebuild my OF3 database to get it to sync with Focus GTD3 but it's worth the effort.
gets the job done! no problem with syncing, a "classic looking" app but everything I need is there.
You sir are a saint. After switching to Pixel the one hole in my life was omnifocus not being on my phone. This is especially true since my new job handed me a MacBook and an iPad! Fantastic job this has helped me a ton. Functionality seems to be working perfect so far!
I was unaware that you need an apple or Mac ID inorder to set this up. I was originally given an option for a refund, but now that has disappeared. I am having to change to GTD supported on Android phones without an apple or Mac ID.
Always show Synchronization failed Error during parsing, file version 2:D , using Omni Sync Server Update: it fixed and present well, good!
About some rtl layout? Shouldn't be hard work and more people would be able to use it. Look at apps in rtl mode for like google keep, todoist, etc Thanks
Would like more features to work, but sync is working ok.
Basic OmniFocus support for Android. Would love to see calendar integration in forecast.
Excellent app syncing great with OF3 on iOS and macOS.
Please allow me to create a view based on tags! (Similar to perspective, I imagine it shouldn't be hard to do?)
i got a buf. its down app when add tag in korean.
Just downloaded Focus GTD 3, typed in my Omnifocus details and voila! Synced, and adding new items also syncs when I hit the 'Sync' icon. Default is set to manual sync. Initially, here's my feedback. Note that its not on useability, its little tweaks that would make this better, that I personally noticed right away. 1. Would like to see an option to change the font size. It seems a little large and I'd like to see more at a glance. 2. Thats it for now. Will edit this post as I go deeper.
