Focus Lock

Missing lots of features and needs more consistency in function. I hate having to go through list of apps to block every day. Timer won't unlock sometimes, I've had to delete and redownload this app many times. Wish they would upgrade and fix this, since there isn't another option for an app blocker.

Need the ability not be cleaned by ram cleaners coz after dat happens u can't even relock the apps till the break time.. Also block uninstall of the app itself that is the focus app..u know for When the distraction is strong 😐😞 ( can be prevented by app lockers with password from third party but still)...

Well, it's the closest in feature set to what I'm looking for, but it keeps crashing when I try to lock one app (Facebook only), and when it does lock it won't keep me out. It could also use some updates and other features, such as the ability to lock different sets of apps in different ways, it to limit total usage of particular apps. Fix the glaring glitches and I'll bump to 4 stars.

I found myself constantly distracted by Facebook, and for some reason was unable to "disable" it without completely uninstalling it. I tried dozens of other apps to try and get the same effect but they all failed for various reasons. I love the Strict lock mode. I'd pay good money to get a version with a built in scheduler so I knew i was locked out from 9-12 and 1.30-5 on work days (for example) without having to set it each day.

It will not lock any of my apps. There is no help section, no troubleshooting. Plain and simple it does not work. I don't know if this has anything to do with it but in my application manager it comes up as "android wheel widget" I'm super bummed bc this was exactly what I was looking for.

My problem is I lose sleep because I'm glued to my phone at night or I'm using it in the morning instead of getting ready for work so this is great! I just don't like that you can't schedule time frame and date yet..it says coming soon, but how soon? Also you have to select each app you want to lock individually so there's a long list you have to go through each time. So if it could show your most used apps first that'd be great or a 'history' of apps you chose to lock before.

Please make it automatically relock after the break time is up! It's especially frustrating since it sends a notification when it locks & unlocks, 1 asks if you'd like to lock again (which you should answer yes to ) & 1 asks if you'd like to permanently unlock (which you should answer no to) UNFORTUNATELY it lists all the apps your blocking so often times it cuts the question part off in the notification bar & when you click more to open the app & answer the question it glitches & leaves your apps unlocked

I love this app and think it's great idea, but it is far from complete. The ability to schedule a time frame to block a app would be fantastic! Put me in Beta! I want to be able to block my work email app so I don't receive distracting emails late into the evening, it just puts me in a crummy mood and has been one of the biggest reasons I don't want corporate email on my personal phone.

Seems to mess up if you turn the phone off. Time will pass to unlock and it won't unlock. If you click the lock you see the time is wrong- says 5:9 or something like that. More imp, something in my phone is making it slow and buggy. I need to figure out what it is. My phone seems to work better when this is not installed.--and yet I just reinstalled it and noticed it doesn't have many permissions. So it can't be this app messing my phone up...

Even though I only set my timer for 2-3 hours, it goes as long as 24hours. I do however like that you can not unselect apps but it should be unchangeable during the time. Or you have to buy credits to unlock things. Defeats the purpose to be able to unlock

It's not super clear when you're in the app exactly what you're supposed to be doing. And even though I have Facebook "locked" and the app tells me it's locked for another 20 minutes, I can still open Facebook. You had one job...

I need the ability to restrict non-productivity apps to set times (ex 17:30-18:00 for news/internetting apps) until I relearn some form of self-control (or permanently). It is both a time management and health issue as my thumbs are constantly sore from using the touchscreen. After reading the reviews, it looks like a lot of people would benefit from an update that would allow option. Would rate 5 stars if this was brought in.

It forces you to not use your phone for however long which is super helpful when you get notifications and 30 mins later you're still browsing Tumblr or FB butttt there should be a select all button bc having to individually select the apps is time consuming or they need to hurry up on the group choice "coming soon" isn't really helpful. Good app if you just want to lock a few at a time

Pretty much crashes all of the time. If, and that's a big if, I do manage to successfully lock some apps around 50% of the time the apps won't unlock at the specified time which means I have to delete the app to make them use able again.

This is perfect for stopping me from getting distracted while revising.... however as people said there are ways you can go around it. Especially fb messenger app is blocked but it still appears unblocked. Other than thats its perfect for blocking all the other apps.

Does what it's meant to, looks good and professional, only thing is I find it very hard to use... Maybe it's just me, but I could do with some startup instructions because at the moment I'm not sure how anything works! Some more suggestions: possibly add a widget, add those things that are 'coming soon', make it easier to select apps, make it more clear how to use..! For people who are looking for a distractions blocker though this is reasonable and worthwhile.

I like it alot but the fact that you can't schedule a free time or a break is really annoying and also that it does not lock apps instantly after the break is up! But in general it's a really good app :D

For an app that is supposed to improve productivity, I sure have wasted my time everyday permanently unlocking apps one by one so I can lock them again. And just found out that the apps it "locks" are not locked at all. I can still open them.

I locked facebook and Gmail, then tried opening them up and was able to immediately! Rubbish, possible I've done something wrong, but I'm an IT expert and I can't figure out how to make it work!

The app opens and you can change your settings and even set it to lock but it doesn't actually lock anything for any period of time. No Lollipop support.

This app is exactly what I've been looking for to help me not check my work email and chat obsessively.

Works one time and one time only. Then it fails to lock anything again, meaning you have to set it up all over again. It's supposed to save you time, but it just costs you instead. On top of that, the interface is unnecessarily complicated.

The blocking is great but the UI and controls are very confusing and not well designed or explained. Needs improvement.

I once locked twitter and couldn't unlock it even at the unlocking time the app said. So I had to uninstall and install again.

Doesn't work at all. The UI is awful, even favorites set up have to unlocked and relocked to restart timer. And then after all that, the lock doesn't work. What a waste.

Isn't working at all. I locked Chrome but I can still use it. Very sad as I used to love this app.

Doesn't work, great idea in theory though. I set an app to be locked. It tells me it's locked then doesn't work. I can still access the app. Not sure if it's my phone glitch in or the app doesn't work.

I selected my apps to lock, they went to the locked list, but then I just tested it and opened one app that I had locked, and it opened right up, no trouble. Very disappointed because this is a great idea

It ostensibly has everything I'm looking for, but it doesn't work. I get an error message or else it just doesn't block the apps. Good concept but please fix
