May have been one bad experience but it's enough to turn me away from using this again. Might have been a one off but my bbt order took almost an hour- the place was <10min drive away. Also, the delivery fee is hidden until after you place the order. Then I find out the delivery fee is over $6. That's more than ive ever paid on a service app. Spoke via email and they were quick to respond but didnt suggest a solution. It was explained that delivery fee also has hidden service fee... Needs work
The service fee didn't show up until you place the order, unlike in ubereats or Doordash the service fee is minimal, a small percentage of your total order, usually less than 2 or 3 dollars. Here my order was 24 dollars and the fee was 6.50, but it didn't pop up until I clicked order, I was shocked. It's disgusting because bigger apps don't even gouge you like that. That money should go to the restaurants. You should also be able to change the tip after like in ubereats.
Just a poorly made app with terrible usability and full of hidden fees. This app is okay if you plan on doing pick-up since they do tend to have some deals and promos but for actual food delivery, I would take a hard pass. If you decide to use a credit card as payment, that will cost you almost an extra $2. You really have to pay attention because this will not be shown as a separate fee on your receipt as it is lumped into your delivery fee. For the delivery fees, none of the restaurants list what they charge, it is just a surprise at check out. Even if you have a default address and your address is entered while you select your order, if you don't re-enter it until after your hit "pay" then you will have no choice but to pay for whatever the delivery charge is since there is no way to confirm or cancel. It does say to enter you delivery address but it doesn't say it is needed to calculate your fees. P.S. My delivery fee was close to $7. Between that, plus the credit card fees, expect to pay an extra $10 on whatever your order cost. Other negatives include: - No way to save any favourite restaurants. - Some restaurants only have menus just in Chinese. - Poor customer service (not from their delivery people though) - Lacks clickable options for a safe delivery with COVID-19 precautions. - No options for the omission of utensils/place settings like other apps.
Awful interface. Didn't present the delivery fees and total price until the order was made. Took over 2 hours for delivery.
I'm confused by some of the poor reviews toward this app. I've been using for such a long time and haven't had a single issue. Deliveries are quick and prices/discounts/promos/fees are all better than Uber. Only downside is not as much variety. I recommend it to everyone.
overall a good easy to navigate app. good customer service as well when I had problems, very helpful and responsive. one thing I wish this app had was an expected time my order would be ready at so I wouldn't have to wait around wondering when I should expect to get my order.
This is the best app for food delivery. I believe they are currently only operating in downtown Toronto. You don't have to "register" a credit card. At check out, you have to option to pay by credit card or by cash if you prefer (the delivery person has change). I will only be using this app when I'm in downtown Toronto. I wish this company all the success.
Very very poor design app. It just shows restaurant far far away from your address. Who care what is on sale 30km away from my primary address? Also, there is no filter of any sort, like only shows Japanese restaurants when I feel like eating Japanese food today. Very very poor app design indeed.
Super great deals on amazing food everywhere. Living downtown is probably a +, but there's just soo many places to choose from, many having free delivery. This app is quite literaly a life changer for someone who doesn't cook like me..
Stay away from this app, this app is riddled with ads you can't skip. It will also suggest restaurants that are out of your area making it confusing and unreliable (unless you want to wait an hour for an out of town delivery).
It's already 5 star regardless. The only thing I would recommend is to add the store address when choosing selections. It would give me an idea where the store is located for pick up rather than knowing it after I placed an order
Fast, easy and accurate. Amazing variety and great deals. Only complaint is it sometimes shows restaurants as open that are closed when you try to order.
App should be better at handling preorders .I think they only send out the order an hour before your selected pickup time.. some restaurants may run out of supplies by then and your order gets cancelled..
one of my Chinese friends recommend this app to me, all I can say is that they truly have some of best Chinese restaurants and the delivery is timely as well, will definitely spread the word!
False advertisement, chose something there on the menu, and didn't receive, customer service doesn't seem to care,and won't give money back or reimbursement, bad company, bad app
The restaurant has cooked my food. No drivers picked up my order. I've been waiting for an hour. Worst delivery service that I ever used👎
Went through the hassle of downloading the app and registering an account only for it to tell me that it doesn't service my area, which is Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Partner and I were frequent users of this app. We got rotten food delivered. This company does not care about food safety and handling. I would rather order from another delivery app that will take these customer concerns seriously.
Constant notifications about deals and they cannot be turned off in the app. Uninstalled.
Pretty good app for pickup, nothing wrong with it. Heard delivery was inconsistant so I decide to so pickup.

best Asian restaurant selection, and they offer tons of discounts and free delivery options!
A lot more discounts on entire menus, more specialized categories and can earn reward points
The first time I ordered on fod, I ordered around 2 p.m. for pick up at 7 p.m. The restaurant rejects my order four hours later. A fod representative called me and said the restaurant can't handle the amount of orders. Last week, I ordered on fod for dinner, only to have fod call me and tell me the restaurant is closed when their app said the restaurant is opened. My transaction went through, and they had to refund me the amount I paid.
Occasionally I can't make payments to certain restaurants like sugar marmalade I have to refresh many times I wondet why? Please fix it thanks
Adding an address doesn't work. Errors out with a "This field may not be blank" message
I was waiting 2 and a half hours for my order.Called them and they said they couldn't cancel because it is already made.Awful service
Very satisfied with this delivery service, easy to use and delivery is on time.
Terrible customer service or rather non-existant. Use at your own peril. Take 1+ hour for delivery within 1km. App crashes and has similar fees as better service providers like Ubereats. Might as well stick to ubereats which has much better service and try a different service for ethnic food. Avoid at all cost.
