It's very easy to use this app if you want to know simply whether a food is high or low fodMAP. There are no details like in other fodMAP apps, but that's fine with me when I'm in a restaurant or something is cooking at home and I don't want details. Obviously, if something is "high" I know to eat as little of it as possible, unless I've already learned via the elimination-replacement process that for me it's not a trigger food. Request for foods is be added to the Diectory usually works.
They want money to pay for app development. This app has not been updated more than once in 5 years. If you have the paid version and you get a new phone, you may not have the paid version anymore. They told me I must have used a different account. I only ever had one Google account and I even sent them a screenshot of where I paid for it, and that wasn't good enough. Now it's just taking up space. Not too sure they keep good enough records to tackle a job like this.
So far, so good. I'm trying to decide if I want to keep my subscription or not, but can't find information on how much the other subscriptions tiers cost. Also despite having a sub I am prompted every time I open the app with an ad for the benefits of a subscription... It's a little annoying.
Great app to know what you can and shouldn't eat. I've got this one, plus FODMAPer & Fast Fodmap installed because all three of them have a fee gaps in the databases. If I can't find it in one, it'll probably be in one of the other two. FODMAP Helper is the one I try first.
This looked like a really good app. Shame, if only 😪 I could see the contents. Without the "Get the premium" banner blocking my view after seeing the first page. Hopefully it will improve. Had to remove.
Not much data and very rigid with organization and display. Very basic. Interface design is not the best. Overall, I feel this app is in a rough draft phase that got abandoned, similar to a man-child.
Makes shopping and planning meals much easier, but have found many things not listed at all. Have submitted some foods for review, but haven't followed up to see if they were added or not.
Awesome app. I can pop in here at a moment's notice and check to see if I can 'eat that' without causing a bunch of attention to myself. it doesn't list compound foods, only ingredients. makes sense.
Really useful especially when out and about. It would be helpful if items that you have to portion control where in an amber colour so as to help avoid stacking.
The pop up asking me to go Premium happens all the time, every time, covering the information (it didn't used to do that). If you don't want anyone to have a free version of this, then don't offer it. This is ridiculous.
Premium features cost more than the Apple App store version... Shouldn't that be the opposite? But let's be serious for what this app offers which is just to give info from a list already done Monash FODMAP. Even the Monash FODMAP app is reasonably price.
I find it very accurate and quite helpful in selecting meals and when baking so I can watch out for the bad actors if you what I mean.
Easy to search foods but doesn't have a huge range of food available to look up I feel, good to start leaning basics
I loved the easy alphabetic list of high and low foods. I loved where I could add a food and have you add it to the list. Lije scallops and red clover sprouts.
There are still some common foods I would like to see included. I have made suggestions previously but I have no idea if they have disappeared into the void or if someone actually read them.
Very useful and easy to use. I like the filters and community feedback features.
Good App, let's you request further items to be added to the fodmap list if they are not available. All other features are for premium users.
It would be nice if it included more for free but the search option is really handy and seems very accurate!
It's a relatively good app with appropriate notes but it does miss out on expanding on certain foods which means I have to Google monash uni info on fodmap.
There is a blocker to ask you to get the premium service, so you can't test whether you like the free version or not. A poor app, and whoever came up with that idea must hold their head in shame.
At the moment, I only have the free functions, but it is easy to look up low fodmap foods.
useful to quickly check whether a type of food is high or Fodmap. it isnt an extensive list.
The ingredients in this list contradict many in other lists. It makes it difficult to know the validity of any list. :/
Very easy to use, understand and a broad range of categories. Thanks to the developers, very grateful
I find this app very easy to use, convenient and an easy way to look up certain foods to support my diet.
Chickpeas - HIGH????? Checked on chickpeas to find they are HIGH, which I had guessed, buy on opening the data to see if it was only a particular quantity, in this case set to no max qty, every category is GREEN & LOW. Why is it HIGH on the list screen?
Easy to use, with a clear, neat format. Was very useful in the elimination phase of my diet, & in reintroducing foods. It seems a bit Australia-centric, with a few European foods missing. In-app, one can suggest missing foods, but I'm not sure how long it takes the developers to add new ones, or whether they wait for a large volume of same requests.
