Foldery Multicon Folder Widget

Foldery
- Multicon Folder Widget is an app for designing widgets of apps folders on the desktop of your device. Designed for the purpose of having more icons on the desktop than the Android allows on your device. But you can also increase the size of the app icon, thought for people who need to see some big icons or giganticon.

I like the app overall. The fact that the limit for free users is 1folder is ridiculous, but nevertheless I donated, cause I needed more folders. Now some of the apps that are in the said folders do not open and it seems to be random. It is really inconvenient, though. The other thing that kind of irritates me is that I cannot make the title of the folder visible in the widget and had to download another widget just for that... If those 2 things are resolved, it would be a 5-star app...

This is a truly fascinating app and it is incredibly easy to use. This was an easy decision for me to upgrade to the pro edition which allows for multiple app folders. My only wish is to adjust the padding between apps while in the folder.

I really like the idea. You can change your app icon size and save space. It's basically like having bigger folders that you don't have to open, you can just tap the app you want to use. But, there are a few issues. Like the widget cutting off the bottom of the apps when you try to make more space. Is it possible to do a more free form widget?? So you can adjust it exactly how you need to? If not, at least try to fix the problem with it leaving a big space and cutting off the bottom of the apps.

Great functionality, but no option for just having a single row of icons. A single column is possible if you want a vertical layout. But if you want to create a single horizontal row, the widget can't accommodate. The widget always occupies two rows of the home screen, even if you only have a single row of tiny icons. This makes it hard to achieve your ideal home screen layout.

Still playing with it but so far it looks good... If it limits how many items I can out in a widget without upgrading then I will give a 1 star abd uninstall... If I can put as many as I like and all other functions work correctly then and only then I will upgrade to premium with a large donation and give a 5 star rating. We will see what happens... Fingers crossed it works right because this is a great idea in theory, but the devil is in the details. Good luck

Very nice app. I upgraded because it's very useful. The only problem (it's kind of big) is, that it crashes when trying to add apps to a folder. If they fix that, this app is golden. Also any advanced appearance options for the widget would be nice to see.

updated review: A tech support suggestion to fix another app problem solved this issue as well. I had to go to my White list settings. Old review: Had to buy it to truly enjoy it. I really like this app, but it kept freezing up on me. I have to constantly restart my phone. It works for awhile then random freezes.

It's okay. DESKTOP SPACE HOG. if you don't choose the option to continuously DISPLAY ALL APPS in the Folder (ALWAYS OPEN ON YOUR DESKTOP), setting a smaller Folder results in NOT BEING ABLE TO SCROLL through the Folder contents. INSTEAD, whatever app is FIRST listed, is what force opens. The OLD-FASHIONED drag and drop Folder-creating is BEST. And, UNLIKE THIS APP, we ARE allowed to SET AN ICON for the Fokder(s) -- One tap on it, to open whole folder.

Good in theory and I upgraded, but I suddenly lost all my folders one day, which took ages to set up. My phone isn't full on storage and in didn't do anything to delete them. The app has a link to Google+ on the top, so in guess it's not been maintained for several years unfortunately.

I just paid for the premium app. To my disappointment, I thought I'd be able to customize the order of the apps to my liking, but it only allows me to customize the app order by name or the by chronological order of when they were added. I want to be able to drag and drop the apps in a folder and customize them in any order that I want. Once this feature has been added, I will change my review to 5 Stars.

I've had this < 1/2 hour and already upgraded to the premium version. Love that I can create scrollable widget folders or columns on my Galaxy Tab S7! The app is a near perfect homescreen organizer for tablet devices, with the only features missing being a) Widget titles b) Choice of font title and size (app titles) c) Rounded corners when activating the background of the widget, and d) Matching the background to "dark modes". Thanks for a great app!

Nice "Fences"-like App, but missing a few things. Option for Title of Grouping. Think "Games", "Shopping", etc. at top of icon groups. Also the ability to change spacing between icons, both vertically and horizontally.

Compared to original multicon...this is almost impossible to get my apps organized how I want. Only option is alphabetical or by choice, with smaller folders making columns different sizes. It worked well. Why ruin it? Allow me to drag And drop an order for organization

Decent app for getting more and smaller icons on your screen than your phone allows by default. You cannot rearrange the icons after creating the widget, so deleting or changing apps means you have to start over if you want to keep icons in a certain order.

I bought the premium version of this app, I really like it. Can you make an update to this app where you can also add widget shortcut icons and internet shortcut icons to the folders? Sometimes I have internet website icons directly on my home screen and I would like to be able to put those in a Foldery Multicon Folder to save space. Please respond to my comment if you have a chance, thank you for making this app and keep up the hard work

Not working. App shuts down every time I try to add an app in a folder, so basically useless. Samsung Galaxy S8 --- Almost two months later I still didn't hear anything from the creators about this problem. Very bad!

Needs work. Can't add apps toward the bottom of available apps as it reverts to previous screen. This renders it pretty useless. Would also be better if had opacity/size options on top/bottom/sides.

App appeared to be good but made only one folder with a few apps in it, then it blocked me from adding more apps, and pushed a pop up pitching the paid version. No way to get rid of pop up unless I reset to home screen. Will uninstall. Too greedy.

It looks like a hustler, please take care. I subscribed a year ago and renewed a month ago, but the version is still the free version, and an email was sent, but it was ignored and no response. Currently I am emailing to Google

They only let you make one folder before you have to upgrade to premium. Frankly there's nothing special about this and I'd say it's missing a lot of good features. I used Multicon for years, that's an app I'd spend money on.

Aus. F. Nov 3, 2020

Great but i feel like itd be way better if you could make more than one folder with the free version. I understand that there are no ads so there are going to be limitations but i dont think they should be so severe besides that it would honestly be 5✨

Saja : This app is very useful to display more apps in small space. But it allow only one folder with 10 apps in free version. To add more it'll ask to purchase it. If it allows to add more icon in one folder I'll give it 5 stars

P. S. May 26, 2019

seems like a good idea. the icon pack support is what puzzles me tho. i use a lot of 3rd party app with custom icon, and if they arent in the mandated pack you must select you get stock android robot icon. not cool. just have an option to use native ir current system icons...! if i uncheck all icon packs it gives me a lot of strangely formatted ones...so frustrating

Rob. R. Jan 14, 2021

Love this app! It allows you to fit more icons onto your home screen than before. Only issue I have is the inability to easily reorder the icons in the folder.

luc. Dec 29, 2021

Just a demo, you only get one folder, unless you are willing to shell out for premium don't bother. Put a price tag on this and get out of people's search results for free app utilities

Mik. M. Feb 9, 2022

Uninstalled immediately. Forces purchase of "pro" to use more than one folder which is the only purpose. Therefore unusable in free version. Use ads for revenenew lads! I searched for free app and you came up.

Irs. H. May 29, 2019

Works well. Could be improved by giving the option to have a dynamic folder what there apps that are shown in the folder are the most frequently used apps according to your history.

Cha. C. May 4, 2020

Crashes constantly as you scroll through the app list to add icons to the folder, then requires you to pay for premium to add even one more folder. Garbage.
