Love the Folk Alley experience, and the app streams reliably, but there's two issues with the app. First the display of the currently playing song & artist often will not update, even after a number of songs, and it's otherwise difficult to find the info (playlist at that time} after the fact, so I'm often missing who played. And if there could be a way to stream at a lower bitrate option for us data deprived users... Thanks!
Great music but the app needs improvement. Stops the music for a few seconds anytime you change cell towers or when moving from one wifi zone to the next. Ruins the music with the constant stops and starts. Pity, great music just wish they would improve the app so it was usable. By the way Spotify Never Ever stops under the exact same conditions.
I love FA, but it takes over my tablet and I am not able to shut the app down. It is constantly running in the background.
4 channels of choice and holiday versions too.
It's a great variety of music. I often hear artist I haven't heard before, and look forward to hearing more from them.
This music platform is easy to use,host Elena See is very knowlegeable-this is a must for an old folkie like me-I highly recommend.
Folk Alley has long been my regular go-to station on my old Squeezebox (internet) radio. Now I'm delighted to have access to all the great music from my cellphone. Thanks to all the folk musicians, old and new! And thanks to the folks who keep it not just going but also beautifully curated.
I love the folk alley music but the app has some issues that don't appear when I use sonos. The app doesn't show the current song, it takes a long time to load, and crashes frequently.
I like folk alley, but the playlist function seems to work poorly on mobile. Very difficult to fond out what you're listening to. Great music but the app is a little wonky.
Keeps cutting out. Only works for seconds then stops.
It's a pity not to be available on android smart tv's with android 10 or 9 tv OS.
Stopped working with Android Auto. Tried re-installing, but still not there. Classic Folk stream is same artists (and sometimes same songs) repeated over and over in same order.
Love folk alley service. Well designed app. Wish it were a little more reliable - tends to cut off out of the blue if running more than an hour or so.

Would like to see the song title on the TV and not have to have my phone to know what song is playing. Like the music!
Certainly the best folk music app that I've ever used. It works just like the website basically. Good music for new and sometimes traditional folk, as well as a stream dedicated to irish music
Sometimes it does not update to the current song and it does not show songs which are about to play. That would be useful.
Love the music just need a bit more info as to how it works ..How do you actually turn it off at night lying bed "Off" as in it ceases to use the phone battery completely I'm a non techy old git 😕
It was fine till it stopped being available on Android Auto. I can pick it up on iHeart Radio, but it's not the member stream so I am stuck hearing the appeals even though I am a paying member.
Great music on demand. Good supplement to the 2 stations in my area that have a few shows with similar music
App runs very well in rf fields and where my field strength meter show no rf at all. Ease of use with a link to purchase albums, and much more- what's not to love? Oh, join me in the members feed and your donatoon will keep the music going!
Great rotation of music! A little choppy at times even at home. Small potatoes in the big picture. Love the music.
App is great. Content great 24 hours day Has a sleep function , you can fall asleep with it I've mentioned Folkalley to over q0 friends and the wider folk community of SE PA. THERE is an amazing related show one hour weekly from RNZ 1, Radio New Zealand, World's of Music. All transnational music from the world. Exellent curating by Trevor

Superb playlists, "curated" with very informative announcers, loads of extras. Can't imagine how it could be better.
Pretty much the same for me. In fact I was just restarting the app because the music was starting and stopping after a pretty good length of time working well this afternoon when I was asked for a review. Don't use any features except listening to member stream. Last night at home I gave up listening because of starting and stopping. Other times it works well.
