Food Lion

Didn't see your response back then so that's on me. Tried to use the app again. Search shows everything but what I'm actually searching for, no matter how many details I add. Looking for A&W Root Beer zero 2lt? Saw 45 different items that contain some of the letters, many not even food or drink items, never saw what I was actually searching for. Tried to click an item for details? Nothing happens. It was an issue a year ago and seems to still be one. I tried to use, but still not working

This app doesn't show price or any product information like ingredients. Not useful for shopping. Store locator option only links to GPS. If you don't allow location access, the app just stops working. It should allow you to manually enter an address or zip code. These are just a couple of suggestions to improve user experience. Last update did not address chief user complaints. No noticeable improvement.

Update: App still doesn't work. Will not recognize my email and password after changing it. Clearing out the storage, deleting and reinstalling the app. Can sign in to the website using the same info with no issue. Constant crashing and having to reset my password every 2 days is annoying.

would be 5 stars, but anytime I want to open the app, I have to clear the cache and all data and sign in again. bit happened after some update a year or two back. prior to that, there was only the highest praise. better than every other us grocery store app I have. but having to open android settings, open apps, select food lion, then open the storage, clear the cache and all data {two things have to be cleared), close that select food lion app, sign in from scratch... it's a massive pain.

So far decent app, can see coupons haven't tried to add to card yet. But easy to use simple UI & I can finally get rewards back for shopping. Only gripe after having for couple days is keeps asking if I want to sign in Biometric & I say yes but always goes back to email & password.

This is the slowest app! Takes forever to return to previous place. If it weren't for the easy to add items of my previous orders, it would take hours to add all your items. I still spend an hour & half each time I have to order. Lags Bad!

Pretty much useless, IMO. It's a confusing and poorly designed app that is difficult to navigate or figure out what it's supposed to be doing. Had a very difficult time trying to get it to work to do anything, to be honest. Guess I'll be sticking with the Walmart app for my grocery shopping.

I love the Food Lion store but this app is The slowest app I have. I don't mind paying for services, but the hidden charges, difficulty of app, tipping pressure, and pathetic pace make it intolerable. I'm normally patient but this app and service wasted a whole day and aggravated the heck out of me. Any people I had contact with were kind and not the problem.

I downloaded the app but it has given me nothing but problems just trying to sign up. First it kept telling me I didn't have a valid phone number even though I've had the same number for almost 20 years. Then when it finally accepted my phone number, it wouldn't accept the code they texted me then it wouldn't send me a new code. Called customer support for all the good it did. Still don't have a working app. **Update** I tried calling the customer service number (again). Got sent to Voicemail.

I can't manage to sign in. I've been through account reset with customer service, I can sign in to my account on the website, but the app tells me that my password is wrong. The "guest" mode doesn't offer much utility.

Very easy app to use. Love the shop and earn feature so you can earn rewards for completing certain purchases. If you can't use your rewards you can donate them which is a nice feature. You can also see weekly ads and specials.

No picture thumbnails to give you an idea of the product! You guys should know that in marketing your product, visual aids help increase sales. A search in the app for products returns no pictures. Hey, I like to see what choices are available before I buy.

Very difficult to view products before buying. Very frustrating in the seemingly difficult searching. All that is allowed while searching is "add to cart",. You cannot view price, size or availability. I would not recommend this app to anyone much less recommend the store. This app has soured me on Food Lion. GO WALMART !!,

Update 2/9/22The app for me to look at print view is working Again that is great and thank you foodlion for getting it repaired. Same Issues as many are reporting, the sale Print View just splashes "loading" on my S9-Samsung w/Android 10. Page function the locksup. Restarted Reinstalled cleared cache changed default browsers changed browser defaults changed browser modes browse decktop veiw setting... Please roll back to your old version so I can view the sale page like a normal page again....

This app needs a better interface and coding. It lacks greatly in comparison to your competitors like Kroger and Walmart. The major issue is not being able to see the cost of product and the location of it inside the store.

Unable to sign up because the app does not recognize my phone number as "valid", the same functioning phone number I have had for 10 years and the same number the app used to send my verification code! If the app cannot function well enough to even allow me to sign up, why would I expect it to function when I'm shopping. A wast of my time.

Great for me as a Senior Citizen. Total cost after additional fee comes out to about $20, which is rather high for me, but with medical conditions I either pay it or wait for someone to do it for me. Wish they would offer Senior plan or give the delivery as tip.

I'm unable to create a shopping list because I can't seem to find anything I'm looking for. No pictures load, can't tell from the description what you're looking at, and very few options load to choose from.

Registration was garbage. Could not verify the phone number and kept asking me to input a valid number. Okay, let me enter the same numbe, again. After I was able to trigger the verification code, the registration step failed and said phone number could not validated. App is no good if you cannot register.

The app no longer starts Edit: It stopped working after the newest update. It worked perfectly before. It's May 21, 2022 and it still won't open and it IS up to date!

The app is supposed to be better, but I'm not getting my shop and earn rewards and my coupons aren't coming off. I set the app to use biometrics but I have had to uninstall and reinstall the app twice already this week.

I preload ALL coupons for the month before I go shop so I can get the coupons and the Shop & Earn but the app shows I've spent $0 there this month and none of the Shop&Earn items have been added; it shows $0 Shop&Earn rewards, even though I've been there twice this month spending almost $300 already. This is at least the 4th time I haven't recieved the Shop&Earn rewards I've purchased despite opening the app, loading ALL the coupons, opening the Shop&Earn tab & using my ph# at the register.

My main complaint is that it doesn't show prices. I do a lot of price comparisons before leaving my house, but I usually go to Kroger or Walmart because they actually list what their products cost on their apps.

I shop here alot and the rewards were great to get until today I noticed I wasn't getting credited for dairy and frozen items I purchase so I wasn't getting any rewards this month so I email no response so I called the # that they give on the app only to be told that I needed every receipt and they can't use their receipts online for whatever reason but who keeps receipts so my only option is to go speak to the manager and see if he can pull up them and give me copies seriously 😳 rip off 📴

UPDATE on app not showing print view. UPDATE 02/03/22: Today's update seems to have corrected the print veiw, so adding a star. Now, if they can fix why adding some items to your list fails, (i.e. Chuck Roast on sale this week, any item on a 1 day sale), that would be helpful and warrant another star. Bi-Lo's app always worked. Food Lion bought them out, and put out their own app, which has always been buggy.

Not working anymore. At home it works fine on my wifi, but the whole point is using at the store. Won't work at all in the store, not even when I turn off wifi and switch to data only. Had to screen shot my account barcode at home! Android phones seem to be having the problem with the app, I know few iPhone users that are having no problems. And I don't have time in my busy schedule to call tech support, just find the problem and put out a patch please! Update... Now seems to be working fine

i love shopping foodlion but i hate u got to activate ur rewards every month or u dont get credit for it. i got 240 dollars in groceries didnt activate the new month so i didnt get credit for it. which sucks. sometimes i forget to go on here every month . they shouid do it for u instead of customers having to do it. other than that . im satisfied

Frustrating. Trying to help my Mom and app will not accept username and password on her phone. I can log in from laptop fine. Uninstalled, installed again, and checked app permissions on phone without success.

Recently the app stopped working properly. The weekly ad, PRINT VIEW, will NOT load. It then freezes and you have to close out the app completely to be able to access other features. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app yet the issue persists. I see that numerous people are experiencing the same issue. The developers really need to review and fix the issue.

I've had this app for awhile now, with certain issues off and on. Now all of a sudden the app has created some type of problem, which will not allow an viable opportunity to login your MVP savings, clipping, or the ability to access the sales. An unfortunate situation, especially for those who like taking the opportunity to find savings. What are the plans to repair the problem ????? Unfortunately, I could not recommend the Food Lion app to anyone until the kinks have been resolved.
