Great app. Easy to use. And I like that there is a web/desktop version. I love that you can upload your favorite recipes from Pinterest and other recipe sites, then create a grocery list from the recipe. Also, just figured out how to use the pantry inventory feature. The grocery list feature could use some tweeking but overall, it's a great app.

After attempting for more than 20 minutes to use this app, it has become clear that it does NOT assist in making the gathering, adding or saving recipes easy. The FAQ screen claims that you can import recipes; that's not true. If you can only import recipes on the pro version, I've experienced nothing on the free version that would tempt me to pay for this. If I have to manually key in the whole recipe, this isn't much better than the recipes I already have written on index cards.

This app has a lot of potential. It has many useful features, however there are some features that are still missing, like adjusting servings for meal plans, adding new ingredients, allow adding nutritional info and cost info for items, and a feature I think would be nice is adding a leftover tab, similar to inventory but for prepared recipes, that would omit those from shopping lists. Also aggregating the shopping list instead of repeating recipe items would be nice. With all of that said, if I can not trust that the data I create in this app is stable, the app is not useful. I just spent the morning adding recipes and creating a meal plan and now all of the newly added recipes are missing.

Love the app and being able to import recipes from the internet. I love this app and I have the pro version but it used to let me do backups of my recipes now when I press for it to do a backup, it does nothing. I check in my phone and the only backup was from last year. Thanks for getting back on this. After trying for so long I tried again the other day and it worked. I'm getting ready to do a reset on my phone and wanted a backup file which I now have. I did go to the web site via the app and saw my recipes there but when I clicked on them nothing happened and didn't see any option to get a backup file. I'll look again to see but if not it's all good since now I have a backup file. thank again

Great app! I have used this app for about 5 years and love it. It is a little time consuming setting up all your recipes but well worth it. The calendar and grocery list are great! The only complaint I have is the listed ingredients are repetitive and confusing, if you add it to your grocery list before editing.

Great for planning meals and grocery shopping. The combination of groceries, isles and comments improves my shopping effectivity. Unfortunately I can't use it across as many devices I want and would refuse to pay a monthly fee for using an app. And a lifetime fee would be way too expensive in this case. lots of improvement need to be done. - recipes import are really buggy ( does not get quantity or item names properly) - you can't paste a text in the directions and keep the formatting (it adds everything on the same line) - the browser version does not display the recipes you added. - some recipes you add using browser does not get added properly, even if you corrected the data by hand before adding the recipe. otherwise it's kind of a good app. it has potential.

Used to be a great app but now sychronisation doesn't work. I used to be able to plan on tablet and then synch with app on my phone to take shopping list to supermarket. Now I have to write out list by hand. Still a useful app for size of database and ease of downloading recipes but could be so much better as it indeed used to be.

Good thing you can log in with fb or Google account. But I dont get why app ask for permission to use my contacts, or videos.... from good things as well, i like the calendar planning super clear and fast. Main screen setup bit not clear because of design ( background ) something to work on . I uninstall this app because of adverts . I rather pay for full version with no ads. They are ruin the whole user experience. Cheers

Recent update removed recipe import ability. Even when it was working you would still have to manually enter 99% of the recipes and/or instructions with the stupid ## lines (yes hashtags in the editing mode) I'm still using it for the meal planner, inventory and shopping lists as it's the best I've found for what I want currently. Wish the shopping list had option to remove from list but not add to inventory without deleting it. Developers no longer respond to emails regarding features.

Latest update makes all quantities fail until you manually remove the .0 . Nuisance. Unnecessary notifications. I really don't care whether the app has received new data. Edit to answer developer's question: Under Groceries, when adding any item to the shopping list the error notification appears: "Error - Measure is invalid. Please select/enter correct measure". I then have to go to the quantity, stated as "1.0" as default, and remove ".0" in order for the app to accept the number. Furthermore, I HAVE disabled notifications. The app still notifies "Changes detected. Synchronizing Data in xx seconds." What a useless notification. Make it go away, This app is starting to annoy me, and I am looking for a replacement. I have used it for many years (7?), and it started off lean and easy, but now it's just bloated with complications and notifications.

I downloaded mostly for the inventory feature and ability to use it my pc. Stumped by how to complete the "Qty" field for an entry. I tried every permutation I could think of and repeatedly got the message "Please use correct format" or "error."

Needs a way to create separate recipie menus but the ability to import recipies is convenient. However, the rating has an aggravating glitch - adds ratings w/o user imput and/or doesn't remember rating changes to imported recpies. Also, imported recipies often require additional user cut-n-paste work but, overall, a useful ap. Maybe not so much for intense users but works for us.

Relatively easy to import recipes from the Web. Still requires copy and paste or manual input for example the instructions. Adding offline recipes was too cumbersome so I gave up on this. The weekly overview is not very userfriendly or clear to read. Also experiencing the previously mentioned glitch regarding the rating of recipes.

I have just started using this app and it seems ok but I would like to be able to edit the names of items in the inventory which I can't do. The desktop version always comes up with an error when you click on the inventory tab too.

Poorly designed app, no sense to the interface. Doesn't sync between devices. I deleted recipes on my phone app but they still show up in the online version. Setup a meal plan & grocery list online and wouldn't sync on my phone. Worthless app!

Overall great app for weekly menu planning plus the ability to backup all of the info. Only negative is editing recipe ingredients is confusing. It requires a certain format that if not followed you end up with a bunch of "#" throughout the line.

This app is not easy to use at all. Because of the way they have it set up for adding ingredients to recipe it took days to upload the 70+ recipes. Then I loaded two weeks of meal planning only to have over half of my recipes vanish. It also listed as a free app with up grades which was my plan. However, I wanted to try out the basics before buying but they have all of the instructions on how to use the app blocked unless you pay.

Really immature and over priced app. Imports wrong ingredients and wrong quantities. If I have to check every line and fix 30%, I can just do it all on paper for free. Requires way to many permissions for an app that a family uses. Unable to delete site account once created.

Uninstalling. I like the concept and especially the ability to use tags. But it is so glitchy. It can't import recipes from my keto websites. And entering recipes manually is hard.

Helpful! Love that I can import recipes from the internet, cross things off shopping list that you already have, copy & move meals around on the calendar . But! Every recipe I imported did not import the instructions. There are three tabs on the recipe. Tab 1 is the ingredients. Tab 2 is the preparations. Tab 3 is nutritional information. Tab 1 & 3 import easily. I have had to copy & paste from the recipe into Tab 2. Also, Doesn't merge Qty of ingredients from mult. recipes on shopping list.

It's ok. Doesn't sync pictures taken by phone and added on the app to online which means I cannot make my recipes public. Have been adding all my recipes - well it'll be a long process - the importing function is not great.

I like this app and have been using it for several years now. I liked it enough 3 years ago that I joined the "Pro" version. You can import recipes from all over the web and other apps, which is a feature I love. But adding new recipes ingredient by ingredient is tedious. I only rated 3 stars because it needs some updates, badly, and needs newer features. If they don't update soon I'll be looking for a newer app with more features.

i love the app and its options. one issue is it never wants to sync on my devices and i couldn't grab recipes online when i attempted to do so a few times. otherwise i think it is great.

took my $$, i paid for an upgrade that i didnt get. i tried working with them to fix but NO respone. by the time i reached out to the playstore they said i was too late. Update: no response ever, they just sent me a survey to ask how they did. Can you guess what my rating was. Update 9/9/19: yes i did test, but you have to pay for the subscription before you get an upgrade. There are features supposedly available by upgrading to Chef that i was never able to use! Update 9/10 will u respond?

I've been using this app for years and recommended it over and over again. It's great for meal planning and finding recipes. I'm not great at managing my grocery list but I really like having the option.

I have used this for many years, so it has all my recipes and so is very helpful that way. Some recipes are just a name and a link or the name of a recipe book. It takes a while to make it yours, but if you just add a few recipes a week, it's well worth it.
