The app is good, but for 1 thing....when you send a promotion, why don't you have a box to copy the promotion so its automatically taken from the basket total? The app works great untill you get someone who forgets the actual promo code & can't then recieve the 13% off like tonight! Plus, when the restaurant confirms they've recieved my order, it doesn't tell me when it will be delivered, unlike other apps.
I find much better and reliable that just eat.. I've had no issues with food hub and never had a complaint or wrong order.. I've been using for a few months now and still had no issues.. I had a pizza shop mess up an order but when I contacted they sorted straight away with no hassle... Still much better than just eat in my opinion..
Of all of the take away delivery apps, this is the least polished. It's excruciatingly slow&everything takes forever to load. Unlike similar apps, when you've selected your restaurant, it doesn't give you menu links at the top, you have to scroll through hundreds of items or search for words. The app is too slow. Latest version of the app 10.5 - 502, Android 10, Google Play/Google Play Services on Huawei P30 Lite (Uk 256GB model). The info you asked for is right here within this review!!!
Used to use this app alot more than JustEat but I dont like using anymore. Constantly receive random notifications encouraging me to order but with nothing to offer other than its a certain day/event. Even then, when i go into notifications they are always empty & previously when they did work, they were well out of date. Noticed they have now started applying delivery charges on every order, with the service charge & recent takeaway price hikes, looks like i'll be using domino's more often.
I've given up on this app. Its good when it works. But it keeps crashing every time i try to check out. And the i have to signe in again reorder my food. The it crashes at the check out again. It's easier just to ring the take away.
Uninstalling, it gives options for you but you can't use them, whoever built the app needs to go back to the drawing board, I misunderstood the question, the post code is for the shops in my area and not my own PC, oh well there's always something to get to know, 😂
Great app, so much better than their competitors! Definitely recommend. Also, in my area there are 3 food places on just eat but because this one treats the companies better, there are 12 on foodhub. Give it a download, you've got nothing to lose.
Pointless, waste of time. Put in my postcode and was given 2 restaurants. Ordered accepted & payment taken. 10 mins later received an email saying we're too far away and the order is canceled. Had the refund to my wallet to order from the 2nd place and exactly the same thing happened.
Easy to use! Menu very good indeed. First place I have used where you have to pay for a Paper Bag or foil tray that has to be binned but food great. Different tastes and meals to choose from.
The new design in slow and awkward in the way it moves between pages. The menus are all over the place, the same items from different restaurants are in different categories. For instance pork spare ribs is a starter for one restaurant and it will be pork dishes in another. It's supposed to be quick and simple to order I should have phoned would of been quicker. As you can tell I prefer the old version
The app is a bit clunky and the estimated delivery time isn't based on anything at all. I think other apps allow restaurants to set a delivery time, whereas this doesn't. What annoys me though is that I keep getting push notifications trying to get me to place an order and there seems to be no way of turning them off. I have to keep deleting the app and reinstalling when I want a takeaway to avoid being spammed, which is very inconvenient.
Works well in my area. Has all the major carry outs and links to their menus to allow easy ordering. Gives you approx delivery/ pick up times. Some places give discounts when preferring through them. Navigation very good Only negative is that you can't stop all their spam lame daily promotional texts without turning off all texts. Is very invasive. So now turning off all texts which is a shame because the ones trelling you the delivery time are useful.
Very easy to order. I've never had this kind of food before, so a little more description of meals would be helpful. Not sure but didn't see an option of time I would like delivered
Reasonable app. Had issues with cards and orders being declined but this appears to have been rectified. There are problems with the way some of the menus are laid out which can make ordering difficult, this might not be an app issue, it could equally be how the restaurant have implemented their menus in all. Overall the app is functional and does the trick.
Best food app around. If ever I'm hungry n can't be bothered to cook, food hub is the one for me. If I could give 10 stars for foodhub, I would. Also....you should try ordering from food jungle on this app. Their food never seises to disappoint. This now my new favourite restaurant to order from.
Don't bother downloading, didn't receive my food, tried contacting customer service for a refund and was told there's nothing they can do? Absolutely useless, don't get this rubbish if you want to save money and not get scammed. Customer service team isn't even from UK. Can't call or anything. Once again, I would give this 0 stars if I could.
Great app, wish it had more accurate timings instead if staying cooking, delivered. An 'on the way' feature would be handy, but other than that it's perfect!
LIARS, Placed an order and was taking to long too accept. So went on to chat through their app and talk to an advisor. Was told they had called the restaurant and the order had been accepted. I said how have you done that when restaurant is closed no ones picking the phone up as its ramadam so the dont open for the month. All of a sudden he just left the chat. They never phone the takeaway if the say they do so. Just stick with ubereats or justeat as they have a customer service.
Doesn't Check your details are correct before you finalise your order. I am very sure I had put my correct phone number in the order and updated my phone number when I updated my delivery address. But I never received my order and has taken me 2 days to get through to the Take Away and they refused to issue me a card refund, I could have what I ordered 2 days ago and that's it not even something else to the value or a voucher to order another time. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE ON APP AND TAKE AWAY
App is good but they're sending me far too many emails, sms, and such of deals and offers which I've never opted into and have always turned all of those things off. Frustrating.
The ordering process is fine, much like other similar apps. However, there is no order status between 'cooking' and 'on its way', so your order seems to take AGES to arrive, when it's actually not even been picked up by the delivery person yet. So it's a frustrating experience to see that your food's apparently ready 20 mins after ordering, and then it's 'out for delivery' for the next 40 mins, even tho it's coming from only 0.3 miles away..
Terrible I ordered first time. Waited for my food it never turned up. Called up the dessert shop and they said food hub isn't working and request a refund. I want a refund before I claim It back through my credit card. Will never use this app again I would rather stick to uber eats and pay for the fees. Never trusting this app again..
I'm sat here waiting for food because the app didn't tell me that deliveries don't start for another three hours. Might have picked a different restaurant if I'd known this. Had to ring the restaurant to find out, which I didn't want to do, that's why I have this app!
Just giving this 1 star as the menus are all over the place so it takes ages to find what you want, the just eat app is so much better, the menus are great and you can order what you want a lot quicker, also don't like getting notifications asking me to order food, I know you can turn these off in settings but why have them turned on in the 1st place, when I'm ordering food I want a quick app, I don't want to have to go into settings to disable the notifications
