Started poking through some of Scott Cawthon's games after playing Five Nights at Freddy's, and he makes some fantastic games. I'm loving Forever Quester. It's the perfect RPG for me because I've never really had the patience to play them; it's fun to see how my character progresses while my attention is elsewhere.
I'm in the 8000th-something area my shop is maced out and I'm at level 211 with a ton of gold. If I had known this game was essentially a joke or a tease I would maybe have had a laugh at the clever concept but I wouldn't have spent nearly as much time on it. The player is given, from thr beginning, a clear objective. The hero is himself eager to defeat Xaxoor. It is unfair to the player to keep him in endless suspense waiting for a story to show up and then wondering if it will ever will.
I've stuck around playing the game and I've reached over level 300 with almost the entire shop maxed out. But I've never once encountered the so-called boss, sound problems, the game NOT DOING IT'S JOB PROPERLY. Even when I don't play the game for days, I come back and my food is almost max and I've slain like 15 enemies. The game doesn't reward players for devote time to it. Some items in the shop don't seem to do anything and have no explanation helping it. However, I doubt this game will be fixed.
I really enjoy this game, especially the fact i dont always have to play it neither do it need the Internet connected to it ( like most phone games now days) but if the developer is reading this please add in a option for the player to at least... Do something? Instead of clicking the alert button waiting for something to happen. Just to input an idea, should make a turn based fighting battle happen every now and then, or get the freedom to auto walk or control where too walk
I don't think this game ends, but that's good because it's fun. You play by not playing, but instead by giving items like food or equipment for your character. He can level up and learn what you tell him. He can even forge his own stuff. You can buy pets, earn swords and armor. You can also buy items that boost your stats. The only problem I really have is that the mute button does nothing, but just turn your phone down. Good luck, you'll need it, because luck is a really awesome stat.
Rather fun, in the long run. I have leveled up a ton, reaching Area 175, and fought Xaxoor once but lost. Animations are far more adorable then they should be, and the game rings of Scott Cawthon's fine touches. Worth the download almost as much as FNAF.
Hey Scott, i love this game its really addicting. I just have one suggestion: make it go up as many areas as it "feels strong enough" to go to. I think this would make the game go by a lot faster and smoother. If you add this I will be very happy. Thanks.
So, Its Been A Good Game! I'm Loving It Too! But, Im Patient And All... But When Do You Fight The Boss? Does It Happen When You Have Everything? By The Way, You Should Make An Backstory Of This Game Where You Play The Hero As An RPG Basic Game, If You Have Both This And The RPG Game It Could Probably Help You More Better! So If You Like, You Should Think About It. Please Reply!
Level 13 with 177 stat in monster taiming and still no pet at all. Ever im unlucky or something is wrong. Also could the food bar be numbered like the coin bag.
Every time I start this app, it continues to go through the whole intro sequence before getting to my character and viewing his report. It flashes the options for music and then immediately goes into the intro. I think this bug is caused by backing out with the home button during the first time settings creating a bug where they never get set, and so the game thinks it's the first time playing every time until the data for your game is loaded. I will rate the game when this is acknowledged, thanks!
No game. Nothing to do its an idle game where you don't really upgrade or control anything nothing happens on screen besides the guy walking to the right he don't stop and don't fight or do anything he says he does. It would at least be acceptable if it had actual animations for fighting or something.
In 2002 we already had ProgressQuest. This one feels ripped from Godville, only with graphics, and also, lacks witty lines.
Wow. This game is by far the best Scott Cawthon game ever. What happened now? FNAF. FNAF took over the world. Scott please, I beg you, ake more like this as its amazing 😢 No one understands the talent he used to have nowadays. BRING BACK THE REAL SCOTT.
I like idle games, but this isn't one. There is nothing to do. The interface is horrible and I can't get the thing to shut up. I hit every sound icon but the app never mutes.
Sound won't turn off only progresses when I'm on thought the point was to be off the game. 12 hrs got 6 gold and 33xp.
It is cool but all you do is nothing I got a little bored the first time I got it. So don't get it. It is a snore fest.
The game does not load on my phone. I have a Alcatel Model # A577VL. I have used this on other devices and LOVED it. I just dont know why it won't work now, on this device.
Welp the name and description of the app are exactly as promised. Easy to pop in and check on your little dude. Lots of little jokes. My first pet is a snake named colonel McGhee:p
The game is good but, the only thing is: I went to check back and I noticed I am at the 15th place. So it's long but is it even possible to fight/kill Xaxor? If so I GONNA PLAY TILL I DO. SO HELP ME I WILL DEFINITELY KEEP TRYING
I'm happy with it. nothing to complain about just I have bought almost every item Idk how else to get to the villain :/ still fun though
There's really nothing to do in this game. You can chose what to buy, what to equip, or what "skills" to focus on (e.g. fishing or mining), but other than that you have absolutely no control over anything that happens. Also, what's the point of raising stats if you can't even see the battles, or even get hurt?
Okay yeah, I know no one cares about that...but this is an excellent game. So simple, and so fun to watch your guy progress. Great for traveling too, as it really does progress when you're away. However, can you add a way for me to know exactly how much food I have and what my max is?
Kind of cute and funny, and I suppose it's nice that it plays on the background, but it's more of a joke than an actual game. Seriously though, the game never ends.
It's a cool idea but it's a shame that it's just a constant looping cycle.
Like what the stakes do and what the riding slug does, it's a great game but I'm not sure what some things in the game do
Even though there isn't much to do, I still find myself coming back to this game every day.
I really like this game especially since the character adventures even when your phone is off. Wait there is only one question left does this game ever end I mean I'm on area 13 and its the second day I played it.(It is called FOREVER questers). Either way if it ends or not I would recommend this game.
