Had to reinstall for an update. App forced me to an update message that went to the app store but did not alloimr to do the required update. I had to delete the app and have it installed fresh again.

App not working with the new update, I had to reinstall the app. Otherwise great plateform and easy to use

What the hell has happened with this version! It's extremely clunky and slow. There's no way to change the market history period, you can't switch between customer and market rate. In Feedback/email tapping on one of the options does nothing. Why break something that didn't need fixing? Please allow downgrading to previous version.

I find OFX easy and convenient to use. Hassle free and competitive rates.

What have you done to the app? It was great but after i was prompted to update it now doesnt work - pls fix

This review is for the app, NOT for the service. OFX service is quite excellent, but as for the app, well it's nearly perfect. First, it feels solid, secure and professional, like it should when dealing with a financial service. The secure fingerprint lock is great, the 2 step is as well but honestly, it's overkill to the point of annoying. If you simply jump to another app and back, you have to reverify by text message. Allowing a little more user control over that would be welcoming.

A simple and cheap way to transfer money abroad. The rates are competitive (like 2 or 3% less than banks or even travelex) and the app is fairly simple to learn and use. Typically transactions between the uk, Europe and Australia are within 1 working day. Their support is second to none. To those complaining about the id requirements, it's international law you need to complain about. I've found it relatively simple to comply. Rip-off banks can get stuffed! Update: so fast and efficient. ❤️

Tl;dr: use Wise, better rate, better service, better app. This app is fine but the service is horrible. Used it to try to convert saving from my home country to local currency to put down on a house. They took a contract, call while I was at the bank sending them money and said call back or they will cancel the contract, on hold for an hour, they canceled the contract after I had already sent money. Now they "can't find" a large part of the money I sent them. You had one job guys.

I've used this app over a number of years to send funds from UK to Australia. Once you have your accounts set up (that you send from and to) it works well. The rate is fair and the transaction happens quickly (on weekdays I can have the money in under 24hrs). The only hassle is that I've had to reset my password a few times (maybe too long between transactions). Otherwise works fine.

Check Trustpilot for more reviews. Setting up my acct was a bit stressful, but I suspect that's true anywhere. Here you have a designated acct rep to contact for support, which is great. Once set up, trnsfrs are super easy--so much better than dealing with my bank from overseas! You are kept informed as transaction progresses. App is super easy to use--takes only seconds to submit a new trnsfr. You know exactly how much you'll receive upfront. Fees are minimal. Def recommend.

With the latest 17 May update 3.5.0 it breaks the usage of the existing 3.4.8 installed version, even though Google Play says the app is up to date. A workaround is to uninstall existing 3.4.8 and do a clean install of 3.5.0. It only takes 2 minutes to do and log back in again. Developer should fix this annoying glitch. Also, wish the app had an option for email alerts when an exchange rate reaches a particular point.

CS to die for - a knowledgeable rep answered in a very acceptable timeframe, provided the terms for OFX to send USD to a Pakistan recipient, advised me to email tech support because the recipient address field wouldn't accept the Pakistan address. I was contacted back within 1.5 hours and all recipient details were updated. As for the platform - it couldn't be more intuitive. Loved the copy options to transfer bank account details & built-in currency converter.

New version is great. Just switched from the beta to current version and see I can now leave it in the rates screen and it will open to this screen each time I use the app. Would be good if pin access could be added to save typing in a long password each time. This would be preferable for me as I have a case on my Samsung Note 8 which makes using fingerprint login difficult, so I use face recognition to log in. That would be another suggestion for log in to OFX.

I've been using this app for years. it is absolutely the best way to send money abroad. the initial set up people complain about is the same as all other foriegn transfer apps due to obvious concerns when transferring money overseas. once set up, it is the easiest, fastest and cheapest way to send money... we love it

This service is very convenient and easy to use for international transfers. Plus, everytime that I have ran into an issue needing to talk to someone, their customer service rep has always been rather courteous and seemingly going out of their way to provide clarity and options.

Old version was okay but this new version seems like a major step backwards? Doesn't list current transfers or progress and historical transfers are incomplete...what happened here? Not usable in its current state. Great ideas but it's like someone released a work in progress way before it was completed.

Fantastic app and telephone support. I would highly recommend OFX. Excellent rates also. Update. I have been using OFX for nearly a year. Still receiving excellent support by email and telephone. Very good rates and app is very easy to use. OFX have also just added an extra layer of security.

This app is freaking amazing! I had to transfer a rather large amount to Morocco. I went to my bank and based on the rate they were selling the dollar for it would have cost me over $5000 to get the exact amount I needed my father to receive. With ofx it only cost me $1600 😮! Thats a huge difference, oh and not to mention they received it in 3 DAYS!!!! The customer service was impeccable, and always there to answer any questions I had even with the current pandemic. 10 star 🌟 all the way!!

Very disappointing. I sent GBP 250 to my daughter in Hong Kong but my deposit hold until I verify a phone interview. I tried several times to their phone operator . One time a guy pick up a call and dropped then next time a lady asked so many questions and call dropped. I applied my refund which by tomorrow as they promise would refund back. I strongly believe this app is disappointing especially for those who have regular need to send money overseas.

Excellent service. Funds transferred to Canada within days. Great app interface. Only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is that everytime you launch the app, you have to select either REGISTER or LOGIN. The app should automatically log user in if login details have been previously entered, requesting password or fingerprint scan for security.

Great company to do business with but the app has recently changed. Used to love this app but the 2/factor authentication every time you want to check something is a huge pain. Yes we all want good financial security but the extra log in requitement should be limited to only once per day not every single time you log in and the code should come from the same sender not 20 different sender IDs clogging up my message window.

Excellent service. This iis more a review of the service this app supports than of the app itself. Theservice is wonderful! Allows me to transfer funds from my US bank account to my Italian debit card, or pay rent to my Italian landlord, with a few touches on my phone, and get up-to-date feedback on the progress of the transfer. The first app that I found to be seamless and transparent with regards to their service offerings. All my transfers were transferred promptly with no unnecessary delays and they provide real-time updates with a 24-hour support centre. Thank you very much OFX.

I do like the ease of use. What used to take trips to the bank and wire transfer papers, and triple checking with the banks, now takes about 1 minute worth of work. I would like customizeable rate alerts to my device.

This is a rating for the service rather than the app. At the end of the day an app is as good as the service it provides. This service is useless. You would think that you get something for being charged more than anything else on the market but no. Stay clear if you don't want headaches. I issued a transfer to purchase something but it hasn't even left the country after a week. I called and was met with a tirade of personal questions. After a while I just said stop and asked for my money back.

Very easy to use app, and a fantastic company. Once accounts are set up you can make transfers with a few swipes/clicks. Very responsive customer service too! Have recommended to many.

Does everything I need, great for overseas payments as it saves details so I can just log in, check prices and then lock it in when I'm ready. All without writing in everything. And I love thumbprint verification its changed my mobile banking experience to a fast efficient tap!

Clearly the best choice for money transfer. Their customer service helped me through problems with the setup process, and I've never had a problem since. I have used this service to move large sums 7 or 8 times. It is great, and the customer service is great.

I have made many transfers, over the years utilising a wide range of money platforms, it wasn't until I discovered OFX that I realised how good an app could really be, it's fantastic. In my opinion I would consider this to be one of the leading exchanges on the market now, job well done to OFX.
