The art in the game is well done. Unfortunately, there is nothing built into the game that helps you undertand the forging process. There's a basic tutorial on how to click the screen during each of the four-part process, but nothing that helps you grasp which part of the four-part and three-variable process creates the subtleties in the metal to achieve a better weapon and thereby succeed. I don't want success to be easier, I want to understand why I succeed or fail.

Love the idea of the game. Can DEFINITELY see the potential, but it just needs more... maybe a way to earn more gems... more instruction when it comes to the smelter, mixing metal correctly, and allowing for a way to obtain a number higher than 19, because I have yet to see one. There are icons within the boxes containing your metals, and I still have no idea what any of them actually mean or how to use them. This game could be excellent but it needs work right now.

Has potential, but needs some refinement. It needs some type of story, and rewards to motivate the player to WANT to play after completing tasks. Unbalanced, and repetitive. Rewards for completing tasks don't motivate the player to continue.

Gave 2 stars because I like the premise and show, but other than that the game is bad. There needs to better explanations in the tutorial on how to actually monitor the different steps. Because doing exactly what it tells you, tends to over do it. Until it gets improved it will be staying at 2 stars and uninstalled. Sorry for the bad review tho.

Timers are a killer. 6 hours to wait to forge out of steel. No progression of skills, starting stats to forge/smelt are the same novice to master. The USB connect. This game is so basic. Why do you want a constant USB connection? Deny access to my phone, constant USB request and reboot. After 15o reboots. DELETE

Really fun concept and execution except for one major flaw ... For a show which is so historically accurate, one would expect the game to also follow suit, however it seems laziness ruled the day as the weapons which are available to craft are .. the same from bronze to steel... Yeah right! A bronze double hand flamberge!!!! Ridiculous.

Great art style, loved the game until I found out you can't forge a Scottish Claymore and the shear limited variety of things you can forge period but mostly upset about the claymore. I quit the game because of that fact and because there is really no driving force to the game. Nothing that makes you want to say you want to keep forging. Had great potential but fell short

this game is very fun. I've never ran into any issue progressing to a master smith. percentages seem accurate & they allow you to progress pretty easily without the need for ingame purchases if you choose so. I just hope they come out with more content as today I just got maxed. thanks for the great experience!

This is my second review & a follow up. My initial review was 3 stars, now it's 1. Game was fun until reaching Journeyman to which I'm stuck & can't get to Blacksmith. I've completed all smelting tasks and can't move forward because theres no way to earn XP which moves you to the next level. Support in game chat doesn't work with data or wifi, so I emailed aenetworks 4 days ago and still have yet to receive a response for help. I've spent real money for in game purchases and still no help. Avoid

The reason why I had to give the game 4 stars is because, there seems to be a bug with the recipe XP, that doesn't let you get the XP for making the recipe, and until this bug is fixed I am not changing the rating to 5 stars.

It was great but now I'm at a point where I can't continue to level up. 3 stars because they didn't answer my email for help. No, that didn't help. I've been making all kinds of weapons and I don't think my experience is going up. Of course there's no way to tell how many points you have or what quality weapons you have previously made. I also can't buy a new recipe because I have to level up. You can email me if you like.

I enjoyed this game but.. it has a serious flaw. I am at a forge master level that requires a pattern be made, to get experience however the pattern for experience is not available until the next Smith level. So basically chicken egg loop

Good gameplay, but... the advancement level seems to stop working once you reach expert blacksmith level and every time a new weapon is created to sell no additional xp is rewarded (can't upgrade or buy a new shop, can't create steel rapier to move further).

Really can't connect the show to this game. Is an okay game at best and the controls for forging are not the best. Their are other games that have lower graphics but have better controls

fun app...but first time you have over 90% and fail you think it is bad luck. second time you get a little angry, and 5th time you consider uninstalling. weapons have higher chance of passing durability tests in the 70s and 80s than in the 90s. glitch?

A. G. u. Jan 25, 2020

Great potential, lacking follow through. So I've been playing for a bit and I get a similar feeling waiting for the test results as I do watching the testing on the show. The problem im having is lack of guidance and direction. I have to smelt lvl 20 tin, but how do I get it? Do I have a better chance if I'm a higher level? How do I earn xp to reach that level? item xp has stopped increasing and what happens when I max it out? How do I reach a 105 durability as it says on the pattern?

No ads and good graphics. I don't even mind the time it takes to complete different items... seems more realistic that way. ☺

A. G. u. Jan 5, 2020

Its just not fun. When i saw this game, i thought i would be able to make my own blades and test them, but i was wrong. The weapons dont even change when you put them in the forge and it was underwhelming to be honest.

Mat. S. Aug 13, 2020

You have something severely wrong with your mathematics in this game. A bronze english sword failed the durability test 5 times in a row at a close to 90% chance to pass. I'll not play your game untill you fix this issue because your game is broken as hell.

If you watch the show, then you'll know what I mean: This game is as bad as what the show became, around the beginning of season 6, when the quality of paid actors/filler got worse than they were in previous seasons and the rude, smarty-pants J. got even ruder and more out of control than he was in previous seasons. It used to be a good show, but it's not now. Sadly, this game has never been any good.

A. G. u. Jul 13, 2019

the ingots are super expensive with the gems. you can only do the intro mission. if it wasn't for that I would've rated it higher.

A. G. u. Jul 12, 2019

i love the game idk why but its addictive. probably cuz forging the weapons is fun and i like seeing how far i can go with one weapon. i recommend adding arrows when smelting new ores to make it more obvious what the product is

A. G. u. Jul 5, 2019

HIGHLY disappointed with this game. Their in-game "likelihood to pass testing" statistics are either rigged or so incredibly bugged. The chance of having over 2/3 of my attempts fail when they all are 80% or better to succeed is so incredibly small, like less than a 0.01% chance. The game is relatively boring and uninteresting, and when you couple it with their RNG being so totally trash, the game is almost unplayable. Cust support is also bad: no reply yet within 2 days is atrocious.

A. G. u. Jul 17, 2019

I like this game but how do you get xp points? I can't do more tasks until I advance and I can't get the points to advance unless I do more tasks. *Thank you for your fast response!

A. G. u. Aug 4, 2019

everytime i opened it froze and crashed. i couldnt even craft the first item without it gitching and shutting down.

A. G. u. Jul 11, 2019

Ingots are showing in storage, until I actually try to craft something, then nothing. Decent game until that bug.

A. G. u. Jan 15, 2020

I would just like to know how to smelt a quality 20 or quality 15 ingot to craft the specific weapon that is required. I've been smelting for days now and can only get a quality 13

A. G. u. Dec 3, 2019

Terrible game design... I literally cannot do anything else in the game. I cannot make bronze ingots because I have no more copper ingots that I can get, with the exception of the prohibitively expensive gem ones...

A. G. u. Jan 12, 2020

To me u don't forged u just help upgrade like if u ever play jacksmith that is a 100 forge game u don't buid your wopions u get copper and other stuff like that I play for 30 min and dent even make a dent in the game so it take A while to reach leave 2

Not good, lets say that. Im sorry, but i did not like the game. It had a gorge of empires kind of feel and i hate that game. The forging itself was ok.
