Fortera Credit Union

I tried for the first time to deposit a check with my mobile device and it was easy. Really convenient and this app allows a person to control their entire bank account from their mobile phone. Great app that is easy to use, and now I don't have to run to the bank and wait in line for ever little thing I need. That also allows and gives time for the bank employees to take care of more important bank needs and issues that other may have. Great and easy app all tied into one place. Best bank !!!!

Relatively good app, there are a few bugs. I really love the unlimited transfer ability, please keep that around. Every so often, the app perpetually loads and I have to close and reload the entire app, or am given an error message when logging in that could literally put me in a state of limbo in a dire situation. I understand that connectivity issues are next to impossible to fix, however. Remember nothing is impossible though. Stay blessed. 5 stars for fixing everything you can and the effort

The web site must show false available balance amounts because I'm fairly certain of double deductions on my purchases. I Also noticed transfers from my savings account to cover overdraft purchases when the account ( via available balance inquiry) indicated what I have was enough to suffice. On top of all that I get charged a one dollar fee per automatic transfer. Hey, it's either the website or the bank, where of all places, where I assume simple math would be used.

The last 2 months I've experienced a few issues with the application. They have not been pleasant as access becomes not existant and card use is frozen as I'm trying to pay for groceries or items at other locations. Please fix these issues so I can minimize time at the register explaining why my card won't work and having to use my child's alternate account to pay for items. Thank you!

Been with Fortera since 1995 when it was Ft. Campbell FCU. I do miss a lot from those days, but have adjusted. I must say I am thrilled by the mobile check deposit as i often work out of state+, but hate the auto focus- it never seems to work: "turn the check (already perfectly placed) 90 degrees" - uh if I do that you won't see half of it. Use manual focus and it's perfect.

The app itself does not include an option for requesting a new debit card without claiming fraud or loss, so a card that works in an ATM, but not point of sale has to be cancelled first, leaving the user without access to their funds. The Credit Union has such terrible phone support that you very well might have to pay taxes twice before reaching an actual human.

It works to check the balances but was a pain to get started on the app. Many of the features feel old and are hard to read, I've been banking with them for 5 months now and the credit check feature has never worked for me. I'd give a higher rating if the app felt more user friendly and not so dull and outdated.

The app it self isn't bad. It works and does what it supposed to do. Fortera just needs to add more widgets. I.e. free and instant online check deposits with the app, free wire transfer to other outside accounts, at least the ones a person owns, etc. ... otherwise great app.

love the bank. Overall, app is easy to use, however, the fingerprint ID function doesn't work properly. After I turn it on, it'll work 4-5 days and then it doesn't"recognize" the print anymore until I reset it.

I'm somewhat disappointed, app does not give immediate balances, I say this because I constantly check my balance, and I tend to go into the negative because I rely on the accuracy of it, but it takes at least 2 days before I get an accurate balance, I do my best to keep up with expenses but this app lags and I go into a negative balance only because I trust in it, I don't like it, needs upgrades and to be more accurate, plus takes a long time to open rather I'm on my wifi or personal data...

My primary frustration is that the app is Slow. It's not poorly designed nor hard to use, but mobile deposits take 2 or 3 tubes as long as any other mobile app I've used. Overall it's okay, but lots of room to improve.

Fortera Credit Union app is the best. I have never had any problem with it. Everything on your app is easy to locate . You can check your balance, deposit checks, transfer money and pay bills. With lots more too. Not to mention, I love the color of the app on my phone.

It doesn't wanna load or is some times glitchy but the website always says something is updated or the bank will make an announcement if the app is being wierd. Can't really comaplain about much I can see my balences on all my accounts. Can transfer to friends that share the bank quick and easily if I happen to not have my card or we don't feel like making the server spilt the bill or checkout separately at a store.

I so would say 5 stars but sometimes it seems when you need it most it says it cant transfer money to contact the bank ive had my phone shut off cause i couldn't get my money outta my wifes account to my account and now i lost out on my deal and have to pay an extra 10 bucks a month on my phone bill but other then that its a great app

I like the app and convenience of making the deposits from home. However, when you are supposed to verify if you can read the check, when using my cell phone, I cannot read any check because the picture is too small

Fort Campbell has gone downhill since they changed their name to Fortera. The worst has came at the apps last update...I can no longer get into my account, my fingerprint option is not available and when I put my password in it still won't let me in my account. Fortera has become nothing more than a joke and I will probably be leaving this credit union very soon.

there are a lot of things it needs to be a decent app. it is hard if not impossible to find the account numbers and routing number. this app is only good to see your accounts and transfer money.

Although my opinion of the bank is unchanged, I admit the mobile app has gotten better over the years. I'm not sure if it's outsourced, if it's a team effort, or even if it's one employee doing their best, but good work. I appreciate the fact that there's an actual changelog for the updates too.

Intuitive interface, very easy to do almost anything, if not everything, that I would go to the bank for, with the exception of depositing cash. If you could figure out a way to do that, too, that'd be awesome.

Charges fee to transfer and don't give the option to see what amount or month actually due for .Need to be more up to date and better options . The bank itself has went downhill. When call over the phone there's a lady name Barbara is rudy she has hung up on me several times when ask to speak with someone more pleasant. There's other reps that are just as rude. That's why I stop doing so much business with this credit union and took my business elsewhere. Can't wait to pay my loan off smh

I'm old and the autofocus does not give me enough time to get the camera in place before the picture is taken. I do like using the application rather than making a check deposit in person.

I absolutely love Fortera Credit Union. I feel safe using their app. Using this app is easy and takes banking to a new level of convenience. Thank you Fortera for being so helpful and for being our choice in banking for the last 18 years.

I love how easy it is to conduct my banking with Fortera. The bill pay option is my most favorite. I can't get out and pay my bills and this option has really taken the stress of bill paying away.

Easy to use. Never have any issues with the app. Have used the chat feature once and got help resolving a debit card issue quickly.

Cannot use fingerprint log in. Option doesn't even come up, as if it was toggled off? Typing in keeps looping from username to password and will not accept input from log in button. Thing went nutty, fix!

This app has worked great until just recently; I received two dividend checks and despite trying the mobile check deposit multiple times, it would take the deposit and a little while later I'd receive an email stating it was rejected.

Its really easy to use, with a user friendly interface and clear font so you arent confused on how you are handling your money.

Great app!! Only option that isnt available that should be is being able to change your pin numbers for your cards from the app!

There were a couple versions I thought great but they're updating it all the time and the ui often changes significantly about every two to five updates. Just my observations and opinion.

The App is working like it suppose to and makes banking so much easier especially when you're over 300 miles away. Thank you
