Foscam Viewer

Looks at first only like an ad for a newer bulky app. On Samsung galaxy 8 had to allow full screen, then got past the ad to the similar looking app. Now have to wait for the ad to disappear everytime it's launched.

I give this app a zero but it made me pick 1 star! Reading all the comments no wonder. My camera used to work and now it doesn't. I was told to download this app instead of the one I used to use. My camera will not work on this app. I have been emailing the company back and forth with absolute no reprieve. SO FRUSTRATED! Since you can't talk to someone directly on the phone your pretty much screwed doing this emailing back and forth. #byefelicia I'm over you......

made a rocket out of camera! lot easier then setup. will buy a cheap phone line cam target sold in 1990' s instead, plug and watch

I've been using this app in conjunction with my cameras for some time now... And so far I have not run into any problems. At least for me, no issues at all. Although there is one feature I wish there existed ... To be able to access my camera either on WiFi or off of WiFi without having to change the settings. Other than that, its all good.

App does the job with 3 different types of foscam cameras at the same time. FI9816P, F18905W & F18918W. There are a few bugs but not an issue for my situation, usage on android phone. I also use cameras hosted on no-ip ddns & they're embedded on different web pages.

Used to be a great app, but now Foscam are foolishly trying to move users to a different app (which everyone says is far worse and doesn't work) by adding ads and splash screens to this app. They are basically trying to make this app so annoying to use, that you will eventually be forced to switch. Their new app also requires an account/login...lame.

When starting the app you get a screen that says "Everything new is fine." If you touch it to try and move past it the app crashes. I guess everything new is't fine. Then once you get to the screen where you can pick a camera to see, you click on one and an ad pops up. If you try and push the x to get rid of it and miss it by a little it opens an internet page. You can't simply push the back button and get the camera view. You have to restart the whole thing. Bad in an emergency checking on a baby.

Worked fine for years. Was a great app. Now it's completely broken unless I'm on wifi. Ads and all. "Everything new is NOT fine". Latest update fixed the crashing but I still cannot get on my camera remotely. Which was part of the point to an IP camera. New app is garbage as well. Already looking for a new company to give money to. Won't be Fosscam again.

See a lot of complains, but I don't see their problems. I can connect, view & control my cams; wifi and remote (needs just proper forward ports setup in yr router). Just simple & straight forward functions. Covers all my needs.

This is the fourth App I tried for my Foscam camera by far this is most reliable and easy to use. Just installed and entered the IP and port numbers and whola. The cool thing about this is you can Pan and Tilt by move the finger on the screen. Keeps it up. Thank you so much!

Thank you Foscam for listening and reverting back to the way the older version of your software was. No more annoying ads in this one. Too bad the software is still buggy as hell. Keep getting g "Foscam had stopped" message, even when not running the app.

After numerous phone calls to set up my 4 cameras, I found that they can't be viewed remotely. The last attempt to call their customer service was unsuccessful as I waited over 1 hr listening to music. I'd love for customer service to contact me to resolve the issue. If the software issues are rectified I'll update this post. Otherwise, stay clear of this manufacturer.

Last update ruined ability to work. No longer able to view anything with this app. Not from local wifi while in the home or while away. And I'am an advanced user. I dedicated a port to each camera - which worked great for 1 year. Switched to Owler app which now only works on and off since last Foscam app update f%#!d up the camera. POS! No, everything new is NOT fine!!

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible Got a 1 because there is no Zero rating. Terrible, new cloud functions are useless. camera is on line and working yet this app is insisting on knowing the SSID/Password in order to continue, then, won't let me enter the SSID. Took multiple tries to finally get a registration email from these clowns. This used to be a decent operation, but now the apps have gone "PC"ish. If I didn't know better I would guess Obama and HC were running things at Foscam now.

Useful app, however caution as it's bricked two of my phones! Not sure why, but I've been running this app on various phones, however so far both Samsung I9195's that I've had it running on have ended up bricked. Not sure if it's the app that's over working them or what, however it seems fine working 24/7 on an old ZTE phone and a similar older LG.

Before the "upgrade" app worked fine. Now I can't connect and the "new" app is complete trash! Do yourself a favor and avoid Foscam products entirely! Buggy and support is a pain the the rear! This latest update doesn't fix anything. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Will only allow connections when on local network. Keeps giving me login failed but connects via other apps just fine

The app itself is great, the problem is it doesn't work right half of the time. This app used to work great until the last update, my guess is that it was intentional to force users to pay for an upgraded app, I'm seeing that a lot nowadays, please put it back the way it was and leave it.
