Foundation Field Log

Technician here. Overall this app is better than I expected. When my company switched to foundation, it was rated just over a 1-star and I was questioning it. That being said, here is my 2 cents. Thing I dislike the most is how often you have to force stop the app and reboot. Other issues are it would sure be nice if people using the app in the field (not the office) could have access to adjust site notes, add in model/serial #s, have access to previously attached pictures on previous tickets.

Waste a lot of time trying to check on whether or not time was properly submitted. Reports fail often, sometimes for weeks on end, sync, no sync. The show accumulated hours check box no longer working. In all, the front end (app) is mostly okay, if ugly as hell. The back end behaves like a really crappy Access database from the 1990's. This is probably the cheapest solution available for smaller companies, but you get what you pay for. I wouldn't touch this if I was paying.

The app is useful for quick submission of timecards. It does make the submission of timecards for individual tasks quick and easy. I do, however, have a few qualms with some of its inner workings: It opens unexpectedly on my device, bringing up the login screen. I do have some issues in submitting a few, but not all, of my timecards; some send, some I have to fill out and submit again. I do have some issues with requesting reports; some will complete and some will not. All in all, decent!

As a payroll person this app can be great or stink. I many times have not received time. Once an employee re-enters their time and sends it I get both entries. There are times they sync it and nothing comes through. What is good is the convenience if you are in good wifi. Otherwise it is very unreliable.

This application is horrible. Would give zero stars if I could. The interface is difficult to navigate and makes it hard to figure out what you're doing. I've designed better web pages in my high-school multimedia class. Tighten it up guys, to anyone who's thinking about using this app, don't! Shape up or ship out.

This has to be the worst UI I've ever dealt with. For starters, you can't account for more than one code at a time. You can't account for lunch breaks. The break down is terrible on the computer and even worse on the mobile app. When I pull my weekly report, I can't even put the submissions in chronological order. I waste a ridiculous amount of time searching through the sheet looking for submissions, and because each guy has to do at least four a day there are a lot to go through.

I disagree with all the negatives comments. While there have been bugs/issues, we've been very happy with the app. It imports all the timecard information (start and stop times, mandatory meal break, job, Cody code, number of hours, etc,) into our server and we have several options to sort and select what we're importing and can make changes corrections at the server level of and when necessary. Besides time cards, there are report options available including daily log and submitted time.

I wish I could give it lower tha a 1 star. Very disappointed. Even without using the app and going straight to the internet doesn't help. It keeps saying "doesn't recognize phone or job location ". Then all of a sudden my name pops up after 10 to 20 times trying.

The App works very well I truly takes forever to load. If it loaded from any device a little quicker it would be five stars!!!! But it literally takes FOREVER to load!!! When I started writing this review I clicked on the app it's still has not loaded.. FOREVER!!

The fact that the app automatically logs me out regularly is inconvenient, but manageable. But the fact that it doesnt automatically update, or indicate that it needs updates, and then fails to send your time card to payroll and leaves you wondering why you havent been payed... that I think is a little freaking ridiculous. It has one job, and it's bad at it.

Your app is a shitbox! Months later still a POS. Load times are ridiculous! Still wont submit timecards without logging out, then back in. Update 6/8/20, load times are still ridiculous, wont save default settings for clock in/cost codes, and randomly logs me out on a regular basis. If i could give it less than 1 star I would. Not only is app still a shitbox , it has been updated to FLAMING SHITBOX!

This app pisses me off. It's slow, laggy, full of bugs. For example, it wouldn't let me log in since I had an update, so I updated. It still won't let me into the app, since I apparently still need to update. I guess I can't clock my hours this week. The only reason I use this is because my company makes me.

This is a terrible app. It regularly duplicates time entries, can not review submitted time, updates require a full reinstall of the app. I would suggest not using this garbage until some serious improvements are made. Very unreliable when time cards are being duplicated from multiple weeks ago.

Absolutely a worthless app! Duplicate time xards, tjme missed because it won't sync up correctly. You xall for support you have to leave a message and hope and pray for a call back. Foundations, if you are reading this, either fix this app or pull it off the store. What our company pays for this software, you would think they woild hire someone to fix it properly. Foundations is just a very poor product all together, if anyone is reading this, do yourself a favor and stay away from it.

Terrible app. We end up having to just call our time in more than being able to use this app. Always having problems and when they patch it, it usually only works for a few days and then right back to not working.

Worst app ever. Closes all the time. Always have to submit info multiple times. Frustrating waste of time even after the "recommended fix" that only seems to keep app from opening.

I work in payroll and deal with both clocking in and out for myself, and all the ins and outs of approving, submitting, sending over to Foundation Accounting Software, etc. We have new issues everyday with time being duplicated, time gettinglost, or being unable to submit their time to us. Constant issues that make going through time extremely frustrating.

App keeps closing after update. Not user friendly. No log of submitted times. Have to submit time multiple times for one day per employee if using different job codes. Have to submit one card per employee per day.. App no longer crashing. However in order for my time to submit I have to sync data, then submit, then log out and log back in before my office gets the time cards

The times do not properly go though. Having issues seeing past times just has a "site loading" message. Even worse the app will not properly load. This app was not thought out well on a programming end.

It's an OK app however the new update sucks. i use to be able to clock out review and submit my times all at once. Now I have to submot each time individually. Made it more complicated than it needed to be.

Horrendous and clunky interface and menus. Not user friendly whatsoever. Expect to stand around at work for about 15 seconds staring at your phone waiting for the app to load so you can clock in

Unable to access after update. After working 12 hours I was unable to access; updated software and still not working. When finally corrected per guidance the app on my phone declares Field Log Has Stopped when I try to access.

Submitted time disappears and i have to resubmit several times or manually text my hours to payroll at least once a month. Slow loading app and freezes occasionally. Option to review submitted time doesnt work. No lunch time to input, only total hours worked, ex. 7am to 3pm is entered for 8hr shift even though i got off at 4pm, lunch time taken is not an option.

Its like using a .gov website that looks and functions from the mid 90's. Very clunky mess of an app. One example: If you work past midnight you gota stop the ticket at 11:59 and write a whole new ticket for the rest plus 1 minute. Piss your workers off one more time daily if you get this app.

I have had to use this app for at least 2 months now, and there has not been a single week that at least 2 of my time cards was not submitted. The first week I used this app I lost out on two days pay because they didn't submit. Just a shotty app

It doesn't Ioad half the time just says customize your dashboard and when you click on it it just goes to a blank screen..smh really time consuming..

Every time I clock in it takes my time in and my time out but when I try to submit it it will not submit my entire week of work it's showing up but it will not submit it I have an iPhone 8 plus if you could let me know what I could do to fix this I would appreciate it thank you

I'm sick of this POS app! It goes down all the time and EVERY TIME you guys do something to it I lose my time! I'm forced to use this because it's what my company uses, but what's the point in having this if I've got to keep paper notes on my hours anyway?! App is trash!

After update you have to uninstall then Reinstall to log on and enter time and log data please fix for all of us After the new update to 1.4.1 it has work better still take 1.5 to 2 mi s to load and get in to system to log time in. Other time app loads in 2 to 5 second Need to make loading faster and able to log time when you do not have network coverage

Not bad for a work/ time card app. I do like the features/ dashboard - description, notes, wether, ect., As well as being about as simplistic as a platform can be. 1 glitch is some of these knucklehead tradesman, I have three little ones and get up at 4:00 a.m. Whenever I pull up to the job at 1/4 to 6 in Wisco. at -15° below I can hardly walk and chew bubblegum.
