Only installed to leave a 1* review because if you attempt to go to the site on mobile, it attempts to install the app. Just let me view your site without installing an app to get more and revenue.
When I receive a news alert and tap on it to read, the app will not open 90% of the time. If you then go to the app the news alert is not there.😠Jan 2022. Your bug fix did not fix anything. One of the worse news apps.
Always tecnical issues. Cannot remove the overlay from watching live TV. I'm deleting the app.

Works fine. But the notifications can be annoying. I like the breaking news notifications. But they push way too many useless notifications like food trucks, fishing reports and so on. Give us the option of what notifications are pushed to us. Other apps have different categories of notifications you can turn on or off. Would be useful for me anyways
I'm amazed at how poorly written some of the articles are from a grammatical standpoint. It's as if some of these articles are transcribed from voice to text and as we all know, it doesn't always work well. Whatever the issue, the online articles are a reflection of the news station and at times, it's a poor reflection. Updates are infrequent on the weekends. Guess the web department is off.
App is great to get local news alerts. Stable, friendly UI. I would like to see more control of types of alerts. For instance, I only want local, not federal, not international, not sports, zero celebrity news. That feature would take this to a five star app, right now, it's a 3 star annoying noise maker 80% of the time.
Slanting more to the left every week. App never opens upon clicking notifications. Stories are repeated multiple times in app.
This is a pretty good app. I use it a whole bunch especially for breaking news. Whenever breaking news pops up I tap on the drop-down banner. Sometimes a drop-down banner doesn't link back to the breaking news. The app just crashes which happens sometimes, I get that. But then when I open the app back up I can't find the breaking news. I wish when breaking news happens there's a red banner or something inside the app that's there in case anyone misses the notification.
Redundant and confusing. Content is repeted throughout the app sections. Bad UX.. needs to roll back to previous version. I only need to see a story one time. Who thought this was a good design? Sometimes you should leave well enough alone!
New format is not user friendly. Too many ad's placed between stories, and stories are spaced out too far as opposed to the old gallery setup which worked great for phone users. I doubt they will switch back so I'll be switching to another local outlet with an app.
When I'm watching the live/replay portion the video is buffering a good portion of the time I'm trying to view it. When I go through the website it works great. Also the app doesn't have a full screen option. I think it could use some help. I'll be happy to use the app once these issues are solved.
What the hell is wrong with your app????? It plays live for 5 seconds, cuts off, I hit live tv, it pays for 5 seconds and cuts off. Rinse and repeat. 4.25.20 app still plays live for several seconds, then flips back to fox home screen. Really a piece of garbage and NO FOX IT people are answering ANYONE'S complaints!
10 news has almost immediate news reports on their app, it happens, it is listed. Fox 13 has it on TV, then you go to their app and can't find the story they just had on TV, sometimes never listed.
Live video still broken on Android OnePlus 7 Pro. Playback controls will not turn off. Video subdued with controls visible on live video despite uninstall and reinstall. No response from broadcaster when emailed directly. Worked before. What happened?
weather app canges have ruined the app. totai loss of radar
Can't zoom on radar, have to use magnifying glass now, Northern Pinellas and Southern Pinellas doesn't work, get the 404 error page. The older app, was a lot better !! Fox 13 app, is the only news app, I've ever used, please fix it !! The 7 day forecast, doesn't show what the rain chances are, you know, 20, 30, 50 percent chance !!
Video does not play more than 8 seconds before it stops playing. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus. Other apps have no problems with newer technology.
Receive notification, click on notification...nothing, just spinning or back to my home screen. Open the app and notifications gone. Great news station and content, but terrible app
My feeling is that this app only wants you to see a commercial and then give you 30 seconds of a video as a teaser so you will join. I did join once to see a d could get no news programming g, just there entertainment info. Their main goal seems to be making money from the commercials. I have to question a news site that doesn't really want you to see the news.
Definitely preferred the old view. New update just has everything mixed together. Not a user friendly app to look at the news quickly. I used to use the app everyday, not sure if I will now keep this app now.
The updates don't fix the blatant problems, like the videos are just 30 sec. commercials, them a snippet of useless news. Disappointed in this one
When watching any video on the Fox 13 app the controls never go away on the video player. It makes it really annoying cuz you can't really see the video wish I could post a screenshot
Why isn't traffic reporting just as important on the way home as it's on the way to work?? We have 10 minutes of news and 20 minutes of ads??Surely there's more news than that to report on??
Simply the best way to start your morning. Especially with there live tv broadcoasting feature. Includes the best radar and weather info. Download and see for yourself!!!
For a bunch of news castors that have veen telling everyone not to travel, its pretty interesting that so many of them keep traveling. You cant seriously tell me that they all got vaccines before essential workers such as emts, hospital personal, and others that dont have the donation funding at their disposable. Im sure there is some mistake to that misinformation. Of course im basing this off things ive noticed myself. Though some things ive only heard from others make so much more sense now.
STILL not fixed so deleted again. All our phones same continued problem live has dark overlay of pause Once again Fox 13 can't fix their app. OLDER10/31 update same live problem. Here we are 9/16 and Fox 13 still does not care to fix the live view... OLDER - Well another update 6/24 and still Fox 13 can't fix their live streaming in app. I suggest WTSP app. Previous - Still nothing fixed. Can't get rid of overlay pause/reverse/forward control so picture is dark. No one at Fox 13 cares obviously.
