The app is functional to say the least. The 2 main problems I have with it, are that yall send me notifications of horrific events in Houston, that were the reason I stopped watching the news on TV and started looking for independent news sources, and that your full screen video button does nothing.
Way too many alerts and notifications, seems like every 15 minutes to an hour a notification pops up, and 99% is useless. Notifications should be for real breaking and urgent news, not everytime a politician opens his mouth, a water line breaks, dog farts, bird chirps, squirrel crosses the road. Things like water lines and boil notices are not breaking news, this kind of thing happens throughout the city every year, save notifications for actual urgent breaking news
Has room to grow. A search for in the app would be nice to look up certain stories you want to pull up again. Also, would love the option to choose what it alerts me on instead of everything. That would be a great future!
Hard to find news stories, i get an alert, click it and it opens the general news page and not the breaking news. I switched to another channel's app, which has more current news. Too bad, i like Fox...
Live news automatically cuts off after about 3 minutes of watching. I try to go back in and it does the same thing. I uninstalled the app and downloaded again. No change!
What I love about the fox app is that it's fast and informative. When ever anything happens in Houston I can depend on Fox News to send out full informative updates. You can't get that with every news network.
Always on point with news earlier, with the roosters.
App is aggravating. I get a notification for an interesting story but when I tap the notification, not only does it not take me to that story, it takes me to a list of stories that doesn't even have the story from the notification.
Same news is repeated several times as you scroll. WAY too many ads. Not worth scrolling past the ads to find any news. However, I suppose they are all like this.
The app is good, the problem is that it give notifications but when you click in it takes you to another news and you can't find that news you click to see. Is like the notification takes you to.the app but the app it doesn't have the news updatet to it yet.
Favorite news but damn videos show pause,play,forward and doesn't go away to see video clearly. Needs work on Android app.
This is never up to date. All of the news reports are days old. I have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling. Nothing works and I need the news before it is 2-3 days old
Completely unbiased news. Unlike most of the others. People complaining about notifications and alerts just need to learn how to use the app.
All the videos I've tried to watch here allow 3-10 seconds and then say "unfortunately something went wrong, please try another video".
I had my second chance on T.V. at this moment and it was great. I won the no velveta cheese challenge. The queso challenge was a so awesome I want to do it again. More better!!!!
too many push notifications that dont immediately take you to the article that attracted your attention. settings tab wont load so i cant change anything about the push notifications
I liked it until it started crashing instead of opening but it would still continually send me notifications.
Love this site. Easy to use and very informative! Working in education I appreciate all the updates on weather and school closures.
well here's how the real truth is about this app the real truth is I have a cell phone and not a TV and you know what I appreciate an app like this because I can keep up with my daily news my daily weather and my daily Sports whether it's football baseball soccer on whatever I am interested in what you have to say about the new lineup and every sport I am interested interested in the new lineup of every day or hourly weather most of all I catch up to what's going on in politics yes I do enjoy Fox
Way to many commercials you get 3 seconds of news (one story) and 5 minutes of commercials, worse yet 5 min of the same commercial. I want news not fox 26 history and commercials.
Doesn't update news often enough....Most times I'll have the same news headline and the same news stories several days in a row.
Live news doesn't stay open for long enough to hear even one story, laggy at best, frozen at worst. Skip this one yall.
I can never watch the news clips! Just says retry in external app. So frustrating.
The news seems to be updated only once daily. Some stories stay on there for days.
Its Garbage,it either says try another video,or something went wrong,ive used it before whn we had our last Hurricane and it was Garbage as well,just like anything else in Tecas,nothing works or not upgrading.
too many pop up. Fox has inproved so much. Love wather and local news. Fox 26 for me, is the go to for news station in the Southeast Texas.
my only complaint is no real weather w/o weather app. Senior citizen on small fixed income,my little el cheapo phone won't hold news & also weather app.
deleting the app. headlines come in, and when you try to read them. they are nowhere to be found. I would give this app a negative star rating if I could
