It's not the app. It's the content. Since you've changed the app I've adjusted to the format changes and the app performs without problem. But since the format change you have drastically reduced the number of news reports and retain some reports for weeks that weren't really newsworthy to begin with. The content in the old format was far superior.

When I use the national Fox News app I can reduce the screen and use other apps simultaneously. The screen stays on top but it is very small and adjustable. If I open another app while using Atlanta Fox 5 I lose the broadcast so I can't hear it much less see it. It's a shortcoming that can be fixed. Initially connections were unstable but they've gotten better.

Your app now will now not stay up after a story. After a segment is ovet it reverts back to the home screen. I love the fact that is now a full screen picture that looks much better but it needs to stay up to allow full news show to be watched. I own a galaxy s7 and it is up to software date. The only way to watch your news is from my web browser. The only thing this has become good for are the push notifications.

App keeps crashing on Chromebook. I love Fox5 ATL, but since I don't have cable TV anymore I use the APP and it's not working right.

This app is ok. But there is a lot of time when there is just nothing and it goes on for a few minutes the most time i have wanted is up fifteen minutes with just no sound and nothing going on. and i i dislike that you can't rotate your phone without the app closing and then you have to go all the way back through the whole thing again. But the news it self is nice ( as far as news goes) the people seem to have know and understand the situations thay cover. and this is nice.

I just deleted this app. Too many grammatical errors in their articles. I thought a college degree would be needed to report the news, but I can say that a middle school student would have less nonsensical writing in a book report than the author(s) on this app. It got to the point that it was ridiculous. Fox5, try to improve your editing or replace the writer(s) in charge of posting your news reports.

I hate the updated app!!! With the old app, I liked being able to swipe left and right to read the top stories. Now I have to go back to the main page to find the next story. Going to uninstall the app and just use the web page since the app now behaves like a web page.

Very useful and informative, I've always watched fox 5 news, but cut my cable account 5 years ago and couldn't get the news but this app lets me catch up on almost every story that is being covered. Absolutely my go to app for the local news and weather

Terrible upgrade. Nothing but ads. I want to see pertinent news stories up front like in the previous version. I don't need to see videos of the news cast. You lost me as a viewer.

Every time I open the 5 news it kicks back off I can't even look at it why??

Just like the others, what should i expect. Chock full of ads and terrible loading speeds! Asks for weird permissions like phone number, access to photos and cellular data. Too laggy, ad-filled, and suspicious for me!

The app in and of itself is fine; however, some of the content is irrelevant such as blasting a notification of Stacy Abrams' opinion of anything. Who cares? Why is her opinion so relevant that it deems a notification? Sending a notification when the gov or pres is speaking is relevant as is bad weather or missing children notifications. Additionally there are so many spelling and grammatical errors it degrades the value of the app.

I get a notification about a video of a news conference, etc. and when I click on the notification, the app opens for a split second, then shuts down

I watch fox 5 on TV but I will never use this app again because every single time I bring up a page a pop up advertisement comes up and gets in the way. Also the stories are not updated often enough.

Not working like it was screen freeze up

I've missed the code word 2x this week by using the app, while getting ready in the mornings. The app shows more commercial ads then it shows the news. Very disappointed.

I need a zero star, since one is not low enough. Too much trouble to sort through the garbage to find "news", because media outlets today don't care about actual news. Since I never watch TV news anymore, I really need online sites, but this one will no longer be a source for me. 😞

Great enjoy the way they stay on top of the things that they discuss and then use broadcast. And thanks them for being on in the morning so i can catch the news before I go out with traffic and the weather and all of the ones that are on in the mornings!

Whoever writes the articles needs to learn how to PROOFREAD what they write before posting the articles. The grammar is terrible more often than not and with misspellings. This morning I just read and watched the video on the new 1911 restaurant in Smyrna but the title of the article, as well as throughout the article, the restaurant is called the 1991 restaurant. The two restaurant owners have to be disappointed that FOX 5 writers do not proofread read what they write!

Catch up on the News,and Weather

I'm deleting this app. I can't get rid of the overlay that contains the pause, forward, back buttons, etc. Drives me crazy!

nice. Update: Switched from Boost Mobile to Metro Pcs and got a new phone annd this app buffers then goes back to the home screen. Not sure why but uninstalling.

Everytime I try to watch live the controls won't leave the screen, makes it difficult to watch. Please fix your live settings.

Fantastic news program and by far the best in Atlanta (and arguably all of America)!!! Superior reporting of important news at lightning speeds with integrity and honesty. Great work!

App crashes, wont open. This has been an issues for about 2 weeks now. Please fix, in the mean time I'll just delete it.

The live stream consistently cut off, lags, and stays loading and buffering. Even though I have full signal strength.

The commercials play fine, but 10 seconds into the news story the video freezes and says something went wrong.
