Fox 8

This app isn't even usable anymore. Click a headline, usually you are stuck on the fox 8 screen. If it does end up loading after a minute, most of the time it's only the first few sentences of the story and then everything is blank. It's only been the last few months this has been happening.

I downloaded this app because my service doesn't get Fox 8. I watch every morning and for the past week I can not watch the news or anything else on the app it freezes or it keeps showing ads and say we'll be back in a moment that moment never comes. Make an app that will actually works not everyone gets Fox 8 and we need to stay updated. Make an app that actually works!

This Fox 8 Cleveland app used to be a great app. Over the past few months (Not sure exactly when) the app has declined in usability. I will click on a story to read and after a few seconds of reading the story will just go away. The print will disappear and the background will remain; however, it will just be a white screen. Sometimes you can fix this by go out of the story and then back in 3 or 4 times but that's not a good user experience in my opinion.

Now its very messy!!! It had its issues in the past, but now you can't watch live without constantly touching the screen to keep it from turning off, all the articles are mixed in with adds, you keep thinking you got to the end, but its another add. Then all of a sudden the articles end, but it appears to be an add, the CONSTANT pop up videos taking up half the screen is annoying too.

Wow...what has happened to this app?? I was so excited to finally see an "update" available this morning. Complete let down. "Continue Reading" really guys?? I just clicked on the story for one reason only, To Read It! Aside from the slow load times, this "Continue Reading" has got to be addressed asap. Like YouTube Music asking me if "I'm still listening" and stopping the music. Duh..I know how to turn it off. Anyways I'm sure tons of 6th graders are home that can help fix Fox 8 app. Thanks

Poor app difficult to use when a breaking story notification comes through and I click on the notification the app screen freezes without opening the story. I have tried unloading and reloading the app but that does not work. Also the other thing that I don't like about the app is the stories they give are video reporting how lazy when at work most people can't watch videos when a breaking story comes through don't be so lazy when a story hits the new cycle take the time to type it out.

This App is So much Better,since you fixed all the bugs.i don't have anymore problems getting on the app.it doesn't freeze anymore .. I'm very Happy .I love Fox 8 and am lost with out it .

The worst app I've ever used. You can't read the stories because the screen jumps and the stories disappear. You can try 5 or 6 times and its impossible to read the stories.. Often I get messages saying app is having problems and to close it, but, it doesn't close. No ty. Done w it too frustrating.

app is really jumpy while loading articles. too many ads. the 'read more' button is really annoying especially because the article jumps around so much while loading. no need for autoplay...I want to read the article, not have it read to me. every time u open the app it asks u to check notification settings no matter what you do. get it together fox 8! can the 'I Team' can investigate this app and possibly get it usable again?

Can't read it fast enough. Once you click continue reading, you have seconds to fly through the report before the screen goes white. But... thats if you can click the option as it bounces around the screen. Sad that nothing goes good for Cleveland.

With new update the app has a bug can only read the beginning of an article. Please fix this.

App always freezes. I have to close app and go back in to finish reading a story. Been like this for a long time. Obvisiouly, it is a common problem and it seems like it won't ever be fixed.

This app always crashes or doesn't respond. You can't tell a news story from an advertisement. Now, because of the dispute between Spectrum and Fox/Tribune I'm no longer able to load the app at all!!! This app takes up a lot of memory... not worth it anymore!!

Love my Fox 8 news and team, but the app is horrible, everytime I click on a story it pulls it up to start reading it, then disappears to a white screen. I've re-installed it a few time and keeps doing it. Very frustrating. Please fix it

When opening any news item, the text of the article and any pictures/videos disappear. It suddenly goes to a white screen with only the blue header remaining. Can't read any article. Recent update did not fix the problem.

The app has never been great, but at least before the March 2021 update you could watch the live option without the video stopping every few seconds and the screen then goes blank. Terrible and they don't care, as they do not respond to any inquiries.

This app has been crashing non stop for a long time now. I was hoping for a fix and keep sending feedback. I've given up. it's useless to me since it just crashes over and over. i cant even read one story.

This news app is pretty much unusable. There are too many adds and you can't even read a news story without an add turning the whole page white. This is the best news station in Cleveland and it's a shame that they can't have an app that works properly.

App going downhill over several months. The stories don't load when you click on them. You get to see one or two sentences with a button to click if you want to read more. Now, the stories won't even open when I click the button... just get a white screen.

This app takes too long to open up and the old app kept on repeating the same stories and when you did click on the story to read it, the screen was blank. Let's try for a THIRD TIME to get it done right!!!!!!

app is junk. fox 8 needs new web designer.finally had to delete it. can't believe they can't find someone to design a better user experience. articles constantly disappear. seems no one responds to any of these reviews. went to woio which is much better.

I had this app for years but whatever updates were made recently ruined it. As others have reported, the app goes blank when opening a news blurb. I had to uninstall. No point in taking up space with junk. Hopefully, they fix it.

You need to fix this app for android users. When i try to scroll past the part where it states upcoming live streams it automatically scrolls back up. Which prevents me from viewing any article past that point. It is really frustrating so therefore i presently do not use it.

Fox 8 is great and this app lets me keep up with Cleveland news. It's just like all the Fox apps which makes it nice since I follow news from several cities With all Fox apps I would like to see a quicker link to the weather report. The radar is great and the 7 day is ok but I want to read the forecast.

I'm deleting the app. It crashes almost every time I use it. It randomly closes out, won't load certain articles and it's slow. I've had nothing but issues since I first got it.

Everytime i open a story to read, I can only read it for a few seconds because when I click on continue reading, it goes white. Very frustrating. I changed to a different news app because of this.
