FOX 8 WVUE Mobile

This is the absolute worst app - it crashes almost every time. It is rare to actually get to the news story they sent you a link to. Please fix this app, WVUE.

Used to be decent, now it constantly gives the same notification right after I swipe it away. So annoying. If I swipe it away, it means I don't want to be bothered by it. All notifications have been turned off. If it does it again, I'm uninstalling.

Thank you for the email updates. Do you have a daily, what Fox calls newsletter via email. If so sign me up.

Downloaded this because the mobile site stopped streaming consistently. The app is worse. I stream most of the day so it's not my phone or signal. I can't even get through a short weather update without it stopping and displaying a message that the video can't be played. Of course, there are no issues with the commercials. Uninstalling.

There are so many ads in this app that it's nearly unusable. Other local news work better than this one.

Everytime i open the app a loud news story plays in the background. No way to turn it off.

When opening a story and scrolling down the whole screen goes blank. Must start over. Very annoying!!!! Please fix. When little box with video advertising comes up lower right screen. This started after the upgrade of the site.

UPDATE - there hasn't been one and the app just fails to load 8 of 10 tries. The only thing that works is the law firm add. Original: Had it for years, but . . . Since the recent update, it constantly crashes especially from breaking news notices.

Poor app much more invasive than previous app. Cannot get thru a story without a full page popup ad covering the story multiple times. After closing and going to next story same popup ad appears, and then again multiple times in the story. Deleted ap. Samsung tablet.

New app update is awful. The other app was fine why change it?? I can't find the stories that go with the push notifications I get. This used to be my go-to local news app. Now it's just an exercise in frustration.

Not good at all needs more work when you try to post an item to Facebook. It put another story to be posted. Like the item up under it. It was a better app before the newformat and designs

Like the app except for one thing. I keep getting the same notifications twice, every time. If not for this, is give 5 stars.

Don't know what fixes/enhancements were done to this app but it ain't working. All this buffering wasn't happening b4 your 'improvements'.

this is garbage. it doesn't work on my fire stick nor my cell phone. I dont have a TV and I would like to watch the news unfortunately not 1 of the local news apps work properly which is embarrassing. this is not a 3rd world country, a competent social media staff is not hard to find

I cannot use this app to read the news in a quiet environment because even when I have my phone on silent, an ad will play (audio & video).

They do "Breaking News" alerts way too much, which can be annoying. Otherwise, it's a good app.

App keeps crashing except for that Attorney Ad. Tired of the crashes. Sick of the ad. C'mon nah! It can be better than this.

Cant go to second story without disconnect. advertising is too frequent and too invasive.I am on my third installation My fav N.O. news station app needs to be investigated. Until then, I will try another local news app

The news website takes too long to load and open. Very disappointing. The weather site is much better.

Horrible update. Used it multiple times daily prior to update. Do not like the forcing you to use videos. I prefer to just read the stories.

The old app much better,easier to use not this one, now they have made it worst to audio ads. Will uninstall this ad just not worth it.

Looking for local news.

it's a very good app but I'm not getting my sounds on my notifications.notgetting notifications sound either.

Despite the fact that I only want weather notifications the weather notifications I keep getting notifications all day long vacations all day long about silly news items

This is my local news station that I follow daily. I prefer this station over the other local stations.

wvue app is getting so bad you cant even read astory without audio adds blareing I do understand you need ads but no blsreing audio ads

SLOWEST LOADING IF IT DOES LOAD APP EVER! HORRIBLE! Go back to the old app & stop promoting Ambulance chasers!!!!

App fails to load story after sending an alert then ultimately crashes
