Good app that is much better than the previous version. However, this newest version will only run on phones with android 8 and above. Several people I know with older phones suddenly discovered that the previous version would no longer work, and they could not upgrade to the new version. These people are basically shut out unless they purchase a newer phone. Should at least make the previous version available for older phones.

So far I haven't been able to get the local news, mostly NC and surrounding areas. Use to get as an email notice, was fine then but not not.

I can't get current broadcasts. News is a day old. Downloaded new app and updated. Deleted app, started again. Like old app better it worked

App keeps closing want play live broad cast. Always problems of some type.😡

Of all the idiotic things, you have to close a full-page add every time you open the app. Is one of the most annoying things to have to deal with. I prefer the previous app to this one by a long shot. As has been stated in other places, there is a lot of lagging, long load times, I'm trying to actually find the weather absolutely ridiculous in this app that is supposed to replace Fox weather. They really needed someone with more practical experience to come up with this design.

My only problem with this new app that you gets alerts for all of the upstate instead of the city like the old app had. Please fix it where it recognizes the area by GPS of our phone. I'm to the point of turning off the notifications which would not be safe but tired of flood warnings from Newberry and Columbia.

Horrible design. Takes forever to load. When it does, its an ad. Then you exit out of that and have to wait again for the site to load. Half the time it doesn't load. Old design was much better and easier. Really disappointing.

This was my go to app for local news until recent changes. Now the "upgraded" version repeatedly quits working. I have reinstalled and updated to no effect.I'm moving on to apps from competitor stations in local market.

Horrible news app! You get notifications just fine. But if you click them, it goes to the whole news app. Not the actual thing you wanted to read. Bad layout, slow loading. Deleting now!

The update to this app was terrible. (I uninstalled it!) Their live weather radar never loaded, stories are harder to find and don't open consistently. This used to be my "go to" app for local news and weather.

The original version was easier to navigate and had smaller google ads. Notifications are good, but never lead straight to the story like the original. I will remove the app until it gets revised.

After recent update, app crashes when opening an article other than the top stories

I wanted this app to replace the WYFF app because of the poor reporting and editing but I can't take this app anymore. I want local news, weather and follow up articles to answer questions that weren't known when the original article was written. You get very little information in the articles and as a FOX affiliate it is disgusting that you use CNN for your non-local news. Guess I will try WSPA and see what their app offers.

Haven't gotten a single weather alert since the update. The weather information on the ap is exactly what I can get from the Weather Channel. It's not local and helpful anymore.

Only thing I don't like: way too many breaking news notifications. Would prefer them to only notify me of really important things. Other than that, nice app for keeping up with local news. Good UI.

So far so good. The weather info is right there as you open the app. Plus you can move.the app to the SD card. The 7 day forecast needs to have a bigger font.

Notifications are overly pushed onto my phone, even when I'm watching Church on Sundays. 6 notifications to be exact at the time of this post. I'm not reinstalling this again because it's a distraction from my time with the Lord.

Does not connect to live news

This upgrade is hard to follow compared to the previous. BIGGEST PEEVE - It no longer gives my weather automatically, it gives Greenville, and everytime I set it, it reverts to Greenville when I open app next time.

Overload updates. Unnecessary information sent constantly with ads. Had to delete it after constantly getting the same unimportant story updated every 4 minutes.

I use wspa channel 7 ten times more than this new fox app. I liked old format better, i had hoped it would go back to old format. Now thinking about dropping it.

I really enjoy the instant updates on breaking news but I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it sends updates for eeeverything. This may be something I can control in the app, I just haven't figured out how yet.

Horrible stops working at least daily. Slow load if it does work at all. Too much stuff jammed into app. Uninstalling back to WYFF

Well, this app does look nice, but it is very glitchy. I had it before but it got taken off somehow. Anyway, this isn't that great like it used to be. Plz fix. I will still use just rather it be better then you will get better rating. :)

Don't understand why I get more news from other states than I do from where I live. Print is small had to use a magnifying glass. Don't enjoy the background color
