FOX19 First Alert Weather

At times, it doesn't update on the time schedule I have set... Other than that it is crisp and clean and gives the alerts I need.

Not thrilled, app started great but now the "follow me" option doesn't work and the weather forecast video doesn't always get updated. Going to find something else soon.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S21, Android. I've done everything I've been directed to do, and still, I can not get an audial severe weather warning. I can hear a voice during the setting process, but that's as far as it goes. I only received a silent text message about a tornado watch. But, the radar feature works well, so I give this app a star.

Really like this app. It has the notifications that tell you about severe weather, even lighting. Sometimes the app doesn't load or freezes. Not bothersome enough to find a new app though. (: **edited March 2021 - the app is slow. Wont load. Doesn't update like it used to. It freezes constantly. Getting another app now. Idk what has been done or not done to this app but its literal garbage now.

Love this app. My only issue is that since the time change on November 1st, the radar no longer works. I hope that someone at 19 News in Cleveland can fix it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled reinstalled it now 5 times, and, it still isn't working. Please fix it. After sending a message to Jason Nicholas, my app was up and running smoothly in no time! Thank you, Jason, and the entire 19 News Team. This is another reason that I "made the switch!"

Something happened to the app recently. I get an alert or I click on the icon on my Android and all I get is commercials. I click the video link to try and watch the weather report and it just says you are currently watching this video. Will try to uninstall and reinstall to see if that corrects the problem. If not, I guess I'll look for another weather app.

Ads everywhere! Complete waste of time due to ad interruptions. A family member told me they liked it he app. So I gave it a try. The Wx Channel's app is nice but loaded with ads. I never thought a local station would waste their viewers time with ads, so I didn't realize it until I tried to use it. It took me twice as long to get my information compared to other apps. Looks like I am going back to the simple app that came with my phone.

I regret updating the app. It's extremely glitchy now and half the time the display says NA. I've had this app for a few years now and I've never had problems with it until I updated last week. The radar doesn't work very well and traffic has been inaccurate. You guys should reset the app to how it was a year ago. I wish I never would have updated!!!!

This apps radar reaches into the pay and future. It is a useful tool to have. It's as accurate as any but gives you more data.

I've used this app for many years,, but it has gone down hill, can't read the daily forecast for my town but I can read any other town, and the radar loads slow. I have been using the weather channel app now and it's been great..keep up the 💩 workmanship and I'll just delete it for good along with everyone else. Not that anyone gives a 💩.

Anytime, anywhere I am in the US , I can find out the weather and accurately as well. Ready to use and we'll laid out.

I luv this app it tells me the temp when I need it and the traffic and road conditions and anything else I need I use both 19 wxix apps and they both help me out. And Frank and Lauren Minor Dan Wells are a few of my favorites. Thank y'all

Great app to have. I especially like the notifications of bad weather. Everyone should have this.

Its ok however, doesn't tell you much. The daily used to give a brief description of the individual days ,now only temp and sun rise and set.then when i get notifications i'll tap it and it takes me to a page with videos. Very basic, i really don't care for it or for that matter any of the local ones.i use, accu weather .so detailed and better explaination of weather now and future. The meteorologists best prediction would be "100% chance of weather."

Have tried all the big boys...weather channel, AccuWeather, etc., and this one is the best, in my opinion. Wish it had more widgets. The smaller one won't show daily forecast, only hourly. Everything else is great, especially the notifications. Forecast and radar options are good too!!!

The new update tends to stick so you can't choose an option or scroll. You wind up having to shut the app down 3 - 5 times. sometimes your lucky & you can scroll on the 6th try and sometimes it just stuck that way for days :( The last version of the app was my constant go to. I never had any issue with it before the update.

What happened??? My Moto Z3 keeps buzzing constantly while the temperature flashes on and off in the notifications bar. Seriously, like 4 vibes in 15 seconds at least every hour for no apparent reason. This started about 6 weeks ago. Loved the app before now it's driving me nuts even after removal and reinstall. Please fix!

Takes a long time to load, only play sound for the ads, and now no daily forecast when you tap on the day. Add to that it only says N/A most of the time. Not sure who did these "improvements" but they might want to consider a different line of work. Just sayin.

please put an option for a recent text version of the forcast. not everyone has available wifi to watch videos all the time. sometimes we just want a quick forcast. also, for those video forcasts, can you update them quicker? having a forcast thats more than 24 hours old is pretty useless.

Very bad. Tired of having to delete an reinstall. Also in a emergency like tornadoes it will not give live coverage so you know what is going on. You brag about being first Alert. Yet do not do follow thru with live safety viewing when emergency.

I do not like not having a more Hands-On approach with the meteorologist, I'm considering deleting the app!!!
